“Une autre belle journée pour Bailey.... Il est brûlé le petit.... Ne dort presque jamais dans l'auto.... Dès qu' il est monté il s'est endormi. On voit qu'il vous adore. A très bientôt.”

“My dog had really good time with Mechelle. Walking, swimming in a river, playing with baby and much more , also Mechelle was quite flexible with the day care timing as we were visiting Montreal with our friends and daily pickup and drop off timing was pretty odd as a tourist. Thank you so much for your help Michelle, definitely would like to see you again in our next Montreal visit.”

“I was really skeptical and scared to leave my dog with someone I have never met. Yet, Aruhi exceeded all my expectations. She went above and beyond to make Cairo’s (my puppy's) stay wonderful and to make sure that I stay up to date with all that is going on. As Cairo is less than a year old and has not been around many people or other dogs, at times she becomes very difficult to deal with. However, not only Aruhi dealt with all Cairo’s challenges, she was also able to make her become more comfortable around people and other dogs. She updated me with messages and pictures of Cairo playing with her beautiful dog Veer and a husky! She made sure Cairo eats well, and walks more than once a day, and gets to be happy while I'm away. She is so positive and nice, and her energy made this stay so wonderful, pleasant, and extremely helpful. I am beyond thankful for all she has done, and I 100% RECOMMEND HER to all of you out there to trust her with your puppies and dogs for a safe, fun, and wonderful stay. She is definitely an amazing dog whisperer and I'm so glad that I made the right choice for choosing her out of so many other choices on rover. Thank you Aruhi and your wonderful family. 5 STARTS! :)”

“Nous avons eu un excellent service avec Line, elle a accueilli Lily comme si ça faisait plusieurs fois qu’elle la voyait, elle a été très rassurante autant avec Lily qu’avec nous. Lily a été traitée aux petits oignons. Merci Line🤩”

“Nicole did such an amazing job with our little Maggie! She was exhausted every night and happy to see her every morning! Diligent, kind and caring, I would trust her with any of my dogs!!”

“What a great first-time Maya had with Yosry as we dropped her off for the day! He was attentive to all her needs and reassured us that she was happy and calm through the fabulous pictures he sent us. We felt very relaxed to enjoy our event knowing that our dog was in good hands. Thanks again Yosry for your care!🐾”

“Rocky loved Amanda!! She took such good care of him. As soon as he arrived, he felt like he was at home. He was easily attached to her and with reason. She gave him as much attention as he needed. Thank you for all the love you gave to my little doggo. 🥰”

About: Hi there! My name is Patricia, and I am absolutely crazy about animals. There are four of us at home—me, my husband, and our dog. My husband loves animals just as much as I do, but he works outside the house. I have an 11-year-old Maltese named Gotham (yes, like Batman’s city haha)! I have many years of experience caring for various species, including dogs, cats, and birds, and I’m always open to learning more and caring for other animals. I’m skilled at giving lots of kisses and hugs while maintaining a clean and safe environment for your pet. Every animal has its own personality and personal space that needs to be respected. I make sure each pet gets the attention, affection, and fun they need while they are with me, and I do everything necessary to ensure your pet is comfortable and well cared for. Let me take care of your pet—I will love them like my own! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I stay at home all day and I usually take a walk with the dogs one time in the morning and one time in the afternoon. I let them free to play with the toys I have and to take a nap when they want to. I'm very attentive and always keep a close eye on my surroundings to make sure the dogs have everything they need to feel comfortable and safe. I live in a comfortable and bright appartment, with 2 balconys: a big one that it is nice to have a walk and another small one with some furniture to take some sunlight on the skin (my dog loves it).
“Trang speaks the language of Love & Care for our pet Kojo. It was a great experience & we will consider her in our future visits to Montréal. She engaged Kojo in a lot of activities with other dogs, she invited him to Hersey's birthday & she even gave him a bath when she felt he is in need of it. Thanks for Kojo's Cadeau that you gave him the last day in your care. You always deserve the best. God bless you.”

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in QC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines such as the DHPP or DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 89% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
