About: I am a member of Arthur Animal Rescue, having experience in cat sitting. I was an owner of 3 different cats for over 30 years. I am available for full time cat boarding or cat sitting at your house, and dog walking. I may take care of other tasks at your house as needed. I currently don't have animals at my house. I can offer cat boarding at my house or at client's home. I am available for the frequent visits at the client's home. In each option I will take care of emptying litter boxes, feeding the cat, cleaning the feeding dishes, changing the water. I am familiar with automatic feeders and pet water fountains. I can do other tasks around the home as needed.

About: Hi, I’m Alex! I’ve been caring for dogs, especially Border Collies, since 2007 and have built a deep understanding of their personalities and needs. Growing up, I spent countless hours walking my dog, exploring trails, and using those walks as a peaceful escape. This connection to nature and animals has fueled my lifelong love for dogs of all breeds. When my Border Collie became a senior, I was her primary caretaker. From carrying her up and down stairs when she needed help to spending quality one-on-one time with her, I learned how to adapt to a dog’s unique needs at every stage of life. Currently, I live with two family dogs, Skye and Piper, and my cat, Lulu, which has given me even more experience with multi-pet households. I’m very mindful of dog behavior and body language, ensuring they always feel comfortable and safe. Having had dogs that weren’t always social with others, I’m skilled at managing walks and being aware of our surroundings. I always work on a dog’s terms, respecting their boundaries, and letting them come to me when they’re ready. My cat likes to come along in her carrier backpack for our daily walks. And of course I give them treats when they are demanded (in moderation). I will talk with my pets whenever they come into the room. Since I have border collies we are constantly playing with the toys, both inside and outside.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs I’ve never actually had my own but love to take care of them when possible and have for many friends. I have a Monday to Friday and finish by 330. So i can go straight from work and like to unwind by taking the dogs for a walk once i arrive home. Walking, play in home or at the park, pets, changing the food/water, brushing, can give a bath, can give medicine if needed or any other requests for accommodation.

“Our dogs are like our children so we won't leave them with just anyone. Similarly, you want the most trustworthy of people when they are living in your home while looking after your pets. We chose carefully and met CJ on two occasions before setting the contract. We could not have been happier with CJ. We have two miniature schnauzers who are 11 years old (litter mates). They are reasonably well behaved until someone comes to the door following which there is about 5 minutes of welcoming the guest with barking. Other than that, they are quite well behaved. On the first visit with CJ, they took to him immediately ... they followed him around as though they'd known him for years. The visit was about an hour and after he left, they spent time searching the house for him. The second visit was over dinner at our home so we could help him get to know the house and become more familiar with our fur babies. They paid so much attention to him that we became like the furniture ... things that didn't interest them!! LOL The night before we left on our three week vacation, CJ came over for any last minute instructions and met the neighbours so he would have people to reach out to, should that be necessary, and so they would not wonder who this stranger was in our home. When the time came for our three week trip, CJ moved in and took over. He sent us photos of his adventures with the dogs ... every other day ... both photos and videos. I don't know if all pet/house sitters do this but it is both reassuring and makes the absence less difficult ... we both missed our fur babies a great deal. In terms of the house, CJ was great. We have a security system that tells us (no matter where we are in the world when doors open or close, when there is someone at the front door, if the alarm has been triggered) and apart from the first day growing pains of accidentally setting it off, CJ managed like a pro. The house was spotless when we returned and the dogs, while very happy to see us, searched the house for CJ again. CJ is a gentle giant (body builder) who gets down on the floor an plays with your animals, takes them for walks and has a lovely personality. He is kind and kept us informed on how things were going. I would not hesitate to have CJ take over for us again, should we need his service. We highly recommend him and believe you'll have a hard time finding anyone more competent or which whom you'll be more comfortable. Thanks CJ ... you're the best.”

I’ll take your fur babies to the park, on walks, and on other adventures as needed!

About: Growing up on a farm, having dogs was just part of my life. When I met and married my husband, who also loved dogs, we were never without a dog in our 46 years of marriage. Sadly my husband passed away in 2022 and the next summer my dog passed too. I really miss walking Twila and taking care of her. She was what kept me going after the passing of my husband. This past December I sold my house and am presently looking for something with low maintenance. I have just retired from nursing and am free to travel anywhere, anytime. I have few commitments and my calendar is quite empty. I do have 4 children and 8 grandchildren which does take up some of my time. I enjoy walking so taking your fur baby for walks is enjoyable for me. My career was in nursing so I have no objections to giving extra care such as medications etc.

About: I have had owned 5 previous dog. Currently have 2 dogs a goldendoodle and yorkshire terrier both friendly. Used to groom my own dog brush and can take your dog for bath additional cost Depending on size Currently at home so avaliable any day of the week. Have a young child 8 years old who goes to school and comes back by 6pm. I have toys. Can provide treats at additional cost. Special diet and diapers extra. About: I became devoted about caring for animals beginning with dogs. My Grandmother owned 3 Boston Terriers that I loved to walk and play with. I did this for a 13 year period of time. I learned how to look after multiple dogs who had very different personalities. I learned to feed, groom and walk them at the same time. My grandmother mentored me how to walk them with little to no issues, brush their teeth, feed them and cut their nails. She also owned a Finch which I also helped take care of when I visited. My own pet was a Bunny. Buggsy was with us for 10 years. Rabbits are very unique in their needs and I learned a lot caring for him. He was very loved and cared for, not caged and I know it was for this reason he lived such a long happy life. I also owned two beta fish at different periods in my life and they both lived a very healthy 3 and 6 years. One my most favourite experiences was spent at the barn with my friend who owned a thoroughbred horse. For approximately 7 years, I was fortunate enough to spend many hours at the barn learning to ride as well as grooming and feeding the horses. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience as the barn also had cats, kittens, bunny’s, dogs and sheep. I hope to one or multiple of these animals one day. I am a calm, patient, and compassionate person. You can rest a sure that your fur baby, water baby or feathered friend will be taken care of in a kind and gentle manner. What ever time you are away, you can do so with peace of mind :) I am a Student of The University of Toronto. Monday to Thursday, I have 2 classes a day with a 2 or 3 hour brake between classes. I have Friday's off and I am available to home/ pet sit on weekends (including during the week if you will be away on holiday) to pet walk/ pet sit at your home. I will follow instructions laid out for me by you, the pet owner. I will carry out routines as closely to your pets usual day or as per instructions. If there should be an emergency I will follow your emergency instructions or depending on the circumstance will call an emergency vet clinic. What ever your pet needs or special instructions you can be assured I will follow your wishes.

About: Ive lived with large dogs my whole life and currently have a 7 year old rescue. I can also provide any medical needs for your pet, I've given insulin and meds so my pets in the past and my friends animals I'm available on weekends and during the week after 5pm to walk or take care of your furry friend. During the week I will need time to take of my schedule weekends I'm available. I have walked large dogs my whole life I'm use to reactive dogs or friendly dogs. I ensure treats are natural as my own dog I wouldn't give her anything that would harm her. I can bathe give meds and walk any size dog

I have a relatively fixed schedule. I work at an elementary school from 8:30-3:30 Monday To Friday with free evenings and weekends. I live with my Mom and Dad (who also use Rover!), and my Dad comes home from 11am-12pm for lunch, and will be able to let your pup run around in our fenced yard for a bathroom break before I return home from work. We have two cats — one who is very comfortable with dogs, and the other who is indifferent, but keeps to herself in her own area of the house your dog will not have access to. We live in a rather large two storey home with a beautiful big fenced in yard, and walking trails that run through our neighbourhood. Your pup is sure to love it here! Depending on the distance and the timing, I may be willing to house sit in your home. I have lots of experience doing this. I always leave the space the same way I found it, and I take great care of your pet from the comfort of their home.
