About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life, and I’ve always had a particular soft spot for dogs. From energetic puppies to laid-back seniors, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, personalities, and play styles. I have experience training puppies and caring for rescue dogs, which has taught me the importance of meeting every dog where they’re at. I believe every dog is different, and the best care comes from paying attention to their individual needs, comfort level, energy, and personality. Some dogs want an adventure and a game of fetch; others are perfectly happy with some yard time, a good belly rub, and a cozy afternoon. I love getting outside and taking dogs along for walks and adventures, but I’m equally happy spending time playing in the yard or simply keeping your pup company. My goal is for your dog to feel safe, comfortable, cared for—and, ideally, to have a slightly better day than they expected. I am currently a student so i am free for drop ins or walks throughout the day Friday to Sunday and after 4:00pm Monday to Thursday. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my priority. I offer dog walking and in-home visits, so your pup can stay in the comfort of their own home and routine. I have a friendly dog who can join walks if your dog enjoys company, but one-on-one walks are always an option. About: I've been a dog lover for as long as I've been alive! My family has always been dog oriented, and having been surrounded by pets since early childhood, I've looked at them as a mainstay in my life and have been fortunate enough to learn and develop amazing relationships with so many dogs over the years, including shelter dogs of all backgrounds, as I've spent time volunteering at the SPCA in Castlegar over the last few years. I currently have a pretty fluid and flexible work schedule between the multiple jobs that I have. It changes from week to week, but I consistently have free time most mornings and evenings, and on varying afternoons from week to week as my work schedule changes. Throwing a walk into the mix before or after my regular shifts won't be too challenging! There are no other pets in my current living situation. I have private space to myself in the basement suite and am able to isolate pretty well down here, but have roommates upstairs for more social time. Despite not having a fenced in yard, I have a fenced in deck patio, and live only a few blocks away from the rail trail and many other great walking paths.
