2. Amy B.
“I can't recommend Any highly enough. She took such great care of our cat, sending photos and written updates daily. It made the typically stressful situation of leaving our 15 year old cat to go on a holiday so much more relaxed, giving us wonderful peace of mind. Her communication was quick, kind and honest. Highly recommended! Will absolutely book with her again.”
3. Chelsea S.

About: Pets are valued family members and I believe it is important to pick the right person to care for your dog or cat while away. Through pet sitting on Rover, I have gained experience working with many different breeds of dogs such as golden retrievers, pugs, huskies, bulldogs, sheepdogs, poodles, pitbulls, chihuahuas, and more. I have also taken care of several cats and house plants too. Personally, I own a standard poodle who is two and a half years old. I have owned dogs and cats my entire life, and have provided care on Rover since 2018. I’m very flexible with working around your schedule. I can provide care during the day, evening, or in the night. However, I do not provide hourly/constant care services at this time (for example if you need someone to come stay in your home from 8 AM until 4 PM while you’re away at work because your pet had a surgery and can’t be alone). I am located in Nelson and I am a university student with practicum shifts for school throughout the week. I also have classes once a week but they are online. I have a lot of flexibility in taking care of your pet(s), however, they will need to be comfortable being home alone for up to 8 hours at a time if I am at school. Generally I only have 1-2 days a week where I may be gone for up to 8 hours. I have been professionally pet sitting for a long time on Rover and I have experience pet sitting on the website Trusted Housesitters. I am highly reliable, trustworthy and tidy. I am happy to provide photos and updates via text or email while you’re away so that you can be assured that your pet is happy and is being well looked after. Please feel free to use this code if it’s your first time on the app, it will give you $20.00 off your booking: NATASP63257
6. Tammy K.
“Tammy was so sweet and amazing with our Saint Bernard while we were away! He needs some extra care with medication and she kept him right on schedule and checked in with us with updates and photos. Thanks for being so awesome Tammy, we appreciate your care for Saifu while we were away so much!”
7. Brittany M.
“Couldn't recommend Brit enough! She has such a way with animals. She looked after my Staffordshire Bull Terrier every Wednesday for over a year, and spent countless weekends looking after her. She and my doggo had such a bond and that's one of Brittany's superpowers. She becomes friends with the animal she cares for. Her calm demeanor is really soothing for the dogs, they are drawn to her, and then they find out how much fun she is too! Couldn't think of a better person to care for an animal.”
8. Rosa E.
“Rosa is awesome! I will definitely be booking with her again for caring for Milo. He was so chill when I got home. Thanks again, especially with the short notice.”

10. Whitney B.
“Whitney has spent a lot of time with my dog Freddie. She has joined us on walks, hang outs at the beach and on our property. Freddie is very fond of her, and Whitney is always an amazing help with giving him commands, keeping an eye on him and assisting on walks. She also lived with a housemate who had a dog for a couple of years. She created an incredible bond with her dog, Charlie. She took him on regular walks and helped with training. Whitney is an incredibly caring, reliable and responsible person and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone to take care of or walk their pet.”

12. Briar P.
“Briar took exceptional care of our dog Baxter for 3 weeks while we were away! Baxter is a big boy (90lb) with a few quirks so we were nervous to leave him with someone new. Briar quickly put our minds at ease. She made sure Baxter had plenty of stimulating exercise and provided us with daily updates on their adventures together. Briar is now one of Baxter's favourite people, and he always looks forward to their walks together.”

About: I have had dogs since I was a kid. I trained one of them and I was mostly responsible for them as my parents were working fulltime. I grew up with a Tibetan Terrier who I cared for when he was senior. I looked after a Chihuahua several times a week for over 5 years. My family got a Havanese puppy and I helped training her. I looked after her for over 4 years. I went for walks with lots and lots of dogs during the last 15 years. This includes neighbors dogs as well. I currently don't have a dog myself. I'm available throughout the whole week. I don't have a job right now which gives me a lot of time to walk dogs. I am very flexible with time and days. I provide various care to dogs with different behaviors and conditions. I make sure of the dog's wellbeing durings walks and playtime. I give appropiate food during visits.
14. Rebecca H.
“Rebecca is not only a wonderful human, but she is one of the most caring people I have ever met! While being roommates for almost a year, she showed so much affection to my dog and even helped watch my dog while I was away and I always came home to the happiest dog! She understands animals well and will prioritize their needs. If your pup was out with her, you could be confident that their tail is wagging. :)”

19. Tully M.
“We have had Tully house sit our home and look after our rescue dog, Frankie on a number of occasions. Tully is neat, tidy and always respectful of our house. She is also amazing with Frankie and the other dogs we have had in the past - taking them for lots of walks and making sure they are fed and happy. She is great at sending updates if we are away for a long time which is very reassuring. Could not recommend Tully more - I’m sure Frankie would agree!!”
