About: Hello, I'm Aimee, a 28-year-old animal lover from Sydney, Australia. I spent the last year living and traveling around Europe, pet-sitting my entire way through! I looked after over 40 animals and was introduced to so many wonderful people and places through this. I fell in love with this way of life and hope to continue it now that I live in the beautiful town of Nelson, BC. With my experience and genuine adoration for animals, you can rest assured that your beloved companions will be in capable and loving hands. Not only will I attend to your pets' basic needs, but I'll also provide ample playtime, exercise, and cuddles. I will also keep you updated with photos so you can relax knowing that your pets are safe and happy. If you have plants or gardens that need tending to, I'm more than willing to lend a green thumb! I currently work as a server in Nelson and am available for pet sitting both during the week and on weekends. My shifts vary between mornings and evenings, but I’m never away from home for more than 6 hours at a time. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine and make sure they get plenty of care, attention and company while you’re away. While I’m unable to host pets in my own home due to rental restrictions, I’m more than happy to come to you! I love being able to care for pets in their own home, where they can stay comfortable and stick to their usual routine while you’re away. I find this can make your absence much less stressful for them, with their familiar surroundings, favourite spots and daily routines all staying the same. I’m also happy to travel to nearby towns, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re a little further away!

About: I've been a dog lover for as long as I've been alive! My family has always been dog oriented, and having been surrounded by pets since early childhood, I've looked at them as a mainstay in my life and have been fortunate enough to learn and develop amazing relationships with so many dogs over the years, including shelter dogs of all backgrounds, as I've spent time volunteering at the SPCA in Castlegar over the last few years. I currently have a pretty fluid and flexible work schedule between the multiple jobs that I have. It changes from week to week, but I consistently have free time most mornings and evenings, and on varying afternoons from week to week as my work schedule changes. Throwing a walk into the mix before or after my regular shifts won't be too challenging! There are no other pets in my current living situation. I have private space to myself in the basement suite and am able to isolate pretty well down here, but have roommates upstairs for more social time. Despite not having a fenced in yard, I have a fenced in deck patio, and live only a few blocks away from the rail trail and many other great walking paths.

About: Hello! I am a student in Nelson and would absolutely love to take care of your dogs, cats and porcupines (maybe there's some in Nelson!). I grew up with dogs (among other pets) and during the pandemic I cared and lived with an 11 year old Great Pyrenees, which was truly magical. I am in my early thirties and would love to eventually adopt my own pooch but until then, I look forward to hearing from you how to provide the best care possible for your furry. Outside of pet care, I am a childcare provider and dance artist. I am a student in Nelson and am flexible in timing! I am available for overnight stays and can be in the house studying or out walking for dogs throughout the day. I am happy to administer medication or follow any specific care plans for your pup. I will study at home, so expect for your pet to receive consistent attention and cuddles. I also try to get out into nature for a few hours every day - I love being outside, especially going for strolls through parks, rain or shine :) I am active, responsible, and sensitive to supporting each pet's needs. From extra patience to high-energy play, I will care for your pet as my own. I'm excited to meet you both! Dogs must be house-trained and with no fleas, ticks, or worms. Please let me know about your dog's personality and what their daily routine looks like in terms of food/exercise/bathroom/etc so I can take the best care possible.

About: When I was 8, I got my first kitty and named him Mr. Jaguar -- that's me and him in the vintage pic! I've cared for cats of all ages over the course of my life. Most recently I've looked after senior cats, as well as cats with higher maintenance (particular diets, playtime, attention needs). I am currently unable to accommodate boarding for dogs, and I can only care for one dog at a time (applies to house-sitting and visits) -- multiple cats is ok for house-sitting and visits, but can only board one at a time👌 My schedule is flexible and varied. While more notice is better, please feel free to reach out for short-notice bookings; I'll let you know if I'm available! I have room for you kitty to be catered to. No other pets will disturb them, and they're sure to get lots of attention in a safe environment 😊

About: I've cared for my family's 2 sheepadoodles for 8 years, and consistently watch a cute little chihuahua who loves to play frisbee. I don't have experience in dogs with special needs, but I do have a highly flexible schedule for people that need pet care. I work for myself at home, and can work from anywhere if need be. I love going for walks, and am happy to take your pet out any time of the day. I work completely from home and for myself, so I have no schedule constraints and am available most of the time. I am about as flexible as it gets! I don't have a fenced yard, so pets in my home go for a couple walks. If you have a fenced yard, I throw balls and frisbees till your pet can't go anymore!

About: I grew up in a neighbourhood full of friendly people and dogs. I would dogsit or house quite often. They relied on me to keep their pet and home safe. I would take them for walks down to the park, play in the backyard, and just general hangout time. About: I have house sit, dog sit, chicken sit, and cat sit, in a variety of homes, even more remote homes where snow plowing was required. I work a flexible schedule. Hybrid remote office worker. I work Monday thru Thursday, but live within a few blocks of my place of work Located near the Columbia River with a fenced yard and no other permanent pets at my home, lots of room to play and run around the yard and trails.

About: I have always had pets… dogs, cats, llamas, iguanas to parrots and toucans and loved and spoiled them all passionately! You can relax while away, knowing your pet is content and cared for in the most loving way possible. I do prefer dogs to be 60 pounds or less. I am retired with lots of time to walk and play with your pets . I am live rurally, surrounded by nature, with a river at the back of my acreage and a rail/trail out front. I live on acreage. While your pet(s) is staying with me, he/she would always be leashed outside for walks. Inside however, my home would be their home and there'll be lots of cuddles and interaction.
