About: I grew up around dogs, but my real journey started 7 years ago when I adopted my rescue Border Collie, Chief. Together we worked with professional trainers to overcome his reactivity and fearfulness, building his confidence along the way. I completed the Karen Pryor Dog Trainer Foundations course and got involved in dog sports. Chief and I now compete in sheep herding trials in BC and Washington, earning his Started and Open titles, hopefully his Advanced title this year! I am good at reading pack dynamics and will always keep a look out to ensure the more sensitive dogs are comfortable, and the higher energy dogs do not over impose.
