From growing up with family pets to helping friends and neighbours with their dogs and cats, I’ve gained years of hands on experience providing care, comfort, and companionship. I’m attentive to each pet’s unique personality and needs, whether that’s long walks, playtime, or just quiet cuddles. My goal is to make your furry family member feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I work only a few days a month, and that work is done from home. This gives me a very flexible schedule and the ability to be available on short notice. I’ll happily work around your needs to make sure your pet is cared for when you need me most. I treat every pet and home with the same care I would want for my own. During drop-ins, I make sure your pet has fresh water, food, and plenty of attention. On walks, I keep safety first while giving your pet the exercise and fun they need. I’ll also keep you updated as much or as little as you want, so you have peace of mind while you’re away.

“While Casey’s yard is not fenced it is in a rural area with a large yard. My dog Abby got along with Casey’s dog quite quickly. Lots of walking to give Abby exercise and a warm wood stove that she loved sleeping beside. Casey works from home so the dogs have lots of company. About: What sets me apart as a sitter is the level of patience, compassion, and real-life experience I bring, especially with dogs who need a little extra understanding. I’m also comfortable reinforcing basic training, maintaining routines, and giving dogs the attention and care they need to feel secure and happy. Evenings are more relaxed, with another walk, dinner, and wind-down time filled with cuddles and companionship. About: I’m a lifelong dog lover who grew up with golden retrievers, and I’ve been dog-sitting in Nelson for over two years. I’ve cared for puppies, seniors, high-energy dogs, and easygoing couch companions, and I enjoy adapting to whatever pace your pup prefers. I love taking dogs out on Nelson’s beautiful trails for fresh air and adventure. Whether your dog wants to sniff every tree or prefers a more relaxed stroll, I’m all about making their time with me tail-waggingly fun! With a flexible work schedule, I’m able to accommodate a wide range of routines, visits, and energy levels. I’m all about making sure your dog feels comfortable, safe, and happy while you’re away—because every pup deserves to have a good time, even if their human is off doing human things. I am currently working a casual schedule. I am available for morning, afternoon and evening walks! I am available for pet sitting during the week or weekend! I have my own suite that has access to a grassy area out front. I am a few minutes walk to the graveyard trails. Dogs that stay with me will be taken on morning walk, mid afternoon walk and a longer nature walk in the early evenings!
