About: I’ve been lucky to grow up with dogs my entire life, and have turned my passion for dogs into a career. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong understanding of dog behavior, health, and training. As a veterinary technician with 10 years experience, I’m well-versed in pet health care, administering medications, managing first aid, and providing general wellness support. Previous to my work in veterinary medicine I worked as a dog groomer for 8 years. In addition to my work background, I’ve also volunteered with the SPCA, where I gained experience working with a variety of dogs, including large, reactive breeds. This experience has made me confident in managing challenging situations and using positive reinforcement techniques to help dogs feel secure and comfortable. I am also confident in caring for senior dogs who may have health concerns or special needs. I’m passionate about the outdoors and nature, so if your dog loves hikes, walks, or just being outside, I’d be thrilled to take them on adventures. Whether it’s a relaxing stroll through the park or a more challenging hike, I understand the importance of keeping dogs active, and happy. As a dog owner myself, I completely understand the uncertainty of leaving your dog in someone else's care. That’s why I want to assure you that I treat every dog as if they were my own—giving them the love, attention, and care they deserve. My schedule is currently very flexible so I'll be able to help out anytime you require care, whether that's a daily check in, walk or boarding services! Pet's are treated as part of the family in my house. I live with a well behaved 4 year old English setter. I like to keep things consistent with the guest dog's home routine and will follow any detailed instruction you provide.

About: Experience with active breeds needing quality exercise and mental stimulation. Flexibility with length and type of play as well. I’ve had dogs all my life, and raised my own from a teeny puppy to a loving senior. I’m currently off work so I have nothing but time to devote to your fuzzy friends. Weekdays or weekends are both open, if you have an active and well behaved dog I will happily take them on my trail runs, hikes, or ski tours. I have a fully fenced back yard and a friendly Australian shepherd of my own, located right next to endless trails as well. I can work with crates or with pups on the bed, whichever you prefer.

About: Hi! My name is Rosa. I have lived with and cared for many dogs and cats, and done regular dog walking for many years. I have an intuitive relationship with animals - always creating a safe and nurturing environment for them. I look after any pet as if its my own - showing respect along with healthy boundaries. I am happy to take dogs on walks wherever you prefer and have a car so can head out to various locations outside of Nelson, as needed. Communication and trust are important to me, so I will happily call and provide updates, photos, and videos of your precious dogs and cats while pet sitting! I am very happy to adapt to whatever situation and your needs, so please get in touch if you would like to discuss anything further or if you have any questions at all! I'm currently working part-time / self-employed, so I will have ample time to care for your precious furry friends and be on a fairly flexible schedule for walks and feeding. Also looking for opportunities for long-term pet and house sitting from September onwards. In your home, I will carefully adhere to whatever safety precautions you have in place to protect your precious dogs and cats - be it keeping gates, doors or windows shut and crating when necessary. I am very attentive! I can send regular photo or video updates - just let me know what you need! I can only pet sit at your home, although doggy day-care is available in our large garden - which is fenced, with ample shade under a big magnolia tree, and grassy area to play on, we have a trampoline which the doggos love to nap under too!

I am generally available during the day Monday through Wednesday every week, and in the mornings and evenings from Thursday-Sunday. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I follow any specific routines or instructions provided by the owner, such as feeding schedules, exercise needs, and medication requirements, to ensure consistency for the pet. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection to keep them happy and engaged. For dogs, I take them on regular walks, give them opportunities to explore, and tailor activities to their energy level. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own—providing care, companionship, and lots of love to help them feel secure while their owner is away.

About: I have grown up with animals. I have knowledge with training, senior dogs, giving medication, bathing. I have volunteered and watched friends/family animals for years. I can do it Full time if needed. I recently moved to Castlegar and worked years in customer service and now want a change of pace. Caring for Animals and helping people are part of my core values. I have a fenced in yard and live in the country. I'm also right across the road from a lake so on super hot days we can spend lots of time in the water as well as hiking around. I also have a reliable vehicle so if your dog is more comfortable in there home and in there neighborhood I can definitely go there. Anything to make your animal safe and comfortable. I have 2 dogs ( both older) and 2 lazy house cats. There is always lots of entertainment around my house.

I have lots of free time outside of my shift rotation and would love to take your furry friend for a long walk, hike or run! I am reliable, trustworthy and flexible. I will respect your home and will ensure your pooch feels safe in the comfort of their own home. Any and all instructions you leave for me will be followed with the utmost care to keep your furry friend happy! I work a rotation of 12 hour shifts each week. There are 4-5 days in the week where I am completely off and have full availability to pet sit or walk your pet. My experience includes caring for small to medium sized dogs. I work a rotation of 3 x 12hr shifts each week. I have lots of free time outside of my shift rotation and would love to take your furry friend for a long walk, hike or run! I am reliable, trustworthy and flexible. I will respect your home and will ensure your pooch feels safe in the comfort of their own home. About: Lots of k9 knowledge. Have 40 acres lots of room to play . We breed k9s . Dogs are my life ..raise gsp's. Confident in my work I stay at home all the time . I own a farm so I do work here .. always home so I'm very flexible. Always training my dogs I have no fenced yard but I live out in the woods your dog need good recall . Bring your own kennel. Will work with commands your working on with your dog. I only watch at my home . I do have fenced areas
