About: I've cared for my family's 2 sheepadoodles for 8 years, and consistently watch a cute little chihuahua who loves to play frisbee. I don't have experience in dogs with special needs, but I do have a highly flexible schedule for people that need pet care. I work for myself at home, and can work from anywhere if need be. I love going for walks, and am happy to take your pet out any time of the day. I work completely from home and for myself, so I have no schedule constraints and am available most of the time. I am about as flexible as it gets! I don't have a fenced yard, so pets in my home go for a couple walks. If you have a fenced yard, I throw balls and frisbees till your pet can't go anymore!

About: I grew up with a cat, who lived to be 18 years old. I have extensive pet sitting experience, having looked after many family and friend’s dogs and cats. I currently dog sit for a few friend’s dogs in town and would be stoked to have some more doggos to walk and hike with! My schedule is currently quite flexible throughout the week. Weekends are usually a little busier but I typically have time for dogs walks any day of the week. I live in Nelson and have a car so I can either walk or drive to anywhere in town to pick up and walk dogs and/or feed & entertain cats. My current space is too small to host pets unfortunately.

I have a lot of time and energy to spend with your fur baby. I love going for long walks too. I live in town. My house is empty, there are no other pets at the moment. About: When I was 8, I got my first kitty and named him Mr. Jaguar -- that's me and him in the vintage pic! I've cared for cats of all ages over the course of my life. Most recently I've looked after senior cats, as well as cats with higher maintenance (particular diets, playtime, attention needs). I am currently unable to accommodate boarding for dogs, and I can only care for one dog at a time (applies to house-sitting and visits) -- multiple cats is ok for house-sitting and visits, but can only board one at a time👌 My schedule is flexible and varied. About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was born so I have lots of experience walking dogs, caring for dogs and spending time with them. I love dogs of any size and breed. I am currently writing a book and other than that ski so have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I love being outside and getting to care for your dog will make it better! About: Growing up with many different types of pets, I've got a variety of pet care experience, including with cats, dogs, reptiles, and birds. I now have a sweet and chaotic rescue husky/shepard named Judy. I adopted and lived with two male cats for years, who now live with my sister full time. Working with wildlife has allowed me to become very attentive to specialized animals needs. If animals in my care are safe and happy, I'm happy. I'm currently working Monday to Thursday, and am therefore able to provide care Friday to Sunday any time, and on weekday evenings. About: I am an art therapist, currently working as a support worker for KSCL. I also facilitate art therapy sessions about twice a month for the Kootenay Brain Injury Association. I have many years experience caring for animals, both cats and dogs. I grew up with both and currently have a cat here in Nelson. I am active and love getting out for walks and hiking in the mountains. I am capable of all dog care related duties such as bathing/grooming and some training. I am comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds. As a dog walker I’d like to lend a helping hand and give your animals the care, attention and activity they need while you are away. I am kind, hard working, trustworthy and professional. I am also flexible with my hours. I look forward to walking your dogs! My schedule has me working 2 days a week with 1 overnight shift on Mondays. The art therapy happens approximately twice a month and are 2 hour sessions. I have plenty of flexibility throughout my week to help care for your pets. I ensure all things in a home that are unsafe for animals are out of reach. I always make sure there is fresh drinking water and the house is a reasonable temperature. In the summers providing fans and ice water etc. I make sure they have toys and their own bed for a safe comfy place to sleep. Crating if needed. Lots of cuddles and pets.
