About: I work from home in marysville and enjoy a flexible schedule. My home has a large (unfenced backyard) and there are extensive walking trails and multiple parks nearby. I helped raise a 3 month old puppy for 6 months last year, and my favourite parts of the day were playing with him and taking him for daily walks. I no longer live with that puppy, but I still go for lots of walks and would love a little canine companion. I’m currently working from home in marysville with a flexible schedule. In an ideal world I go for a morning and evening walk or run most days of the week. I also have most evenings and weekends free and can work from anywhere on my laptop if you need house-sitting or in-house pet care I offer dog walking services (different rates for drop-off vs if I pick them up) of various lengths for all dogs. For boarding my home has a large open living area that can easily be contained for a puppy or dog. I do not have a fenced backyard, but I live a very active lifestyle and am comfortable going for long walks, etc to adapt to your dog’s needs. I have a lot of houseplants, they are not reachable to dogs but boarding is not recommended for cats unless your cat is trained to ignore plants. I do offer cat-sitting (visiting twice a day for food, water, socialization, change the litter once a day, etc).

About: Growing up on a farm, I spent most of my waking hours around animals, and have fostered a deep love for all kinds of critters :) I have experience overnight dog sitting with duties such as walking, administering medication, grooming and feeding. I have had pets of my own such as dogs, cats, rabbits and fish (plus all of our farm animals!) I would treat your critters as if they were my own and would be happy to assist you in caring for your furry family members! Thank you for considering me. I am currently available for weekend services! Some weekdays can be accommodated depending on your needs and my schedule with work as I am away at times for camp work. I will ensure I follow any routines you may have for your pet, and be respectable of the surrounding community and any other family members or roommates that could be in the home. In my home I will also treat your fur baby as if they were my own, of course!

About: Hello :) I am an animal lover who currently has no pets, so I would be thrilled to help take care of yours! I grew up on a farm that always had animals around (German Shepherds, Spanish Water Dogs, cats and rabbits), and greatly miss my furry companions. I have a vehicle that can transport your fur babies to local trails or parks where we would have a grand time hiking, frolicking, or throwing a ball around. If you are looking for a caring, passionate, and responsible walker/sitter, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to getting to know you and your pet! My schedule is very flexible, so I have lots of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and house sitting. Providing a comfortable, calm, and stimulating environment for your pet is my priority. You know your pet best, and I’m happy to work with you to give them the best experience possible.

About: I’m a dog fanatic; I will go above and beyond to make sure your pet has a fantastic day full of fun, exercise, adventures and love. I had a beautiful golden retriever for 11 years who has taught me loads about patience. I will take your dog on walks in the forest, hikes, jogs/runs and return them to you happy and tired. Please specify your preferences and I will do my best to accommodate your needs. I would love to provide your furry family member with a playful companion who loves walking and the outdoors as much as them! I’m open to meet up before for a coffee to chat as I understand that leaving your dog with a stranger could be quite worrisome! ☺️ I’m currently working at a longterm care home in town. My passion for dogs and cuddles made me think dog walking would be a great way to pass time on days off. We have a nice big fully fenced backyard for your dog(s) to play in. I love to find excuses to go out hiking and adventuring in the outdoors with my furry friends.

Megan was great with our little dog Murphy! We more so just wanted some companionship for him during the day while we are gone at work. She’d come in midday and spend some time with him which he think he really appreciated! Definitely would recommend!

Nicole was so excellent with Bodhi, he loved her the minute she walked in the door. And he was happy and content when we came home too. Will definitely use Nicole's services again.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
