About: What sets me apart as a sitter is the level of patience, compassion, and real-life experience I bring, especially with dogs who need a little extra understanding. I’ve cared for two rescue dogs with very different and challenging backgrounds, which has shaped how I approach every animal I look after. One of my dogs I found on the streets of the Philippines, where I nursed her back to health and helped her regain strength and trust. The other I adopted from Heart Hope and Rescue, and she came to me with severe fear due to past abuse. Through consistent care, gentle handling, and a lot of love, I’ve helped her grow into a confident, happy dog who can now be around men comfortably. Today, she’s incredibly affectionate and truly thrives. Because of these experiences, I’m especially skilled with nervous, shy, or rescue dogs who may need extra patience and reassurance. I understand how to read body language, build trust at their pace, and create a calm, safe environment. I’m also comfortable reinforcing basic training, maintaining routines, and giving dogs the attention and care they need to feel secure and happy. Above all, I genuinely love animals and treat every dog as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, cared for, and completely loved while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and because I work part-time, I have plenty of flexibility to give your dog the time, attention, and care they deserve. I’m available for both weekday and weekend boarding, and I structure my days to make sure pets are never left alone for long periods. In the mornings, I start the day with walks, feeding, and some playtime to help your dog burn off energy and feel settled. Throughout the day, I incorporate regular potty breaks, enrichment activities, and lots of one-on-one attention whether that’s play, training reinforcement, or just relaxing together. Because I’m home often, your dog will have consistent companionship and supervision. I also adapt my routine to match your dog’s specific needs. For high-energy dogs, I make sure they get plenty of exercise and stimulation, while more anxious or senior dogs get a calm, quiet environment with gentle care and extra comfort. Evenings are more relaxed, with another walk, dinner, and wind-down time filled with cuddles and companionship. Overall, I prioritize creating a safe, structured, and loving environment so your dog feels at home and well cared for every day they’re with me. I provide attentive, compassionate care tailored to each pet’s individual needs, whether in my home or in a client’s home. I prioritize safety by maintaining a clean, secure environment, closely supervising pets, and following any specific routines, dietary requirements, or medical instructions provided by the owner. Building trust is central to my approach, so I take time to understand each pet’s personality, comfort levels, and preferences, ensuring they feel calm and cared for. I also respect clients’ homes by keeping spaces tidy and communicating regularly with updates, so owners feel confident and reassured while they are away.

About: I've spent 3 weeks house sitting a rescue dog and cat in Christchurch, New Zealand plus many other weekends house sitting various pets. I have also fostered dogs including puppies for a minimum of 2 weeks at a time. I'm currently off work for the shoulder season until December. During winter I will be working part time hours as a breakfast server and skiing other days meaning I will be around evenings every day. I care for pets as if they are my own. I have my own suite that has access to a grassy area out front. I am a few minutes walk to the graveyard trails. Dogs that stay with me will be taken on morning walk, mid afternoon walk and a longer nature walk in the early evenings!

About: I've cared for my family's 2 sheepadoodles for 8 years, and consistently watch a cute little chihuahua who loves to play frisbee. I don't have experience in dogs with special needs, but I do have a highly flexible schedule for people that need pet care. I work for myself at home, and can work from anywhere if need be. I love going for walks, and am happy to take your pet out any time of the day. I work completely from home and for myself, so I have no schedule constraints and am available most of the time. I am about as flexible as it gets! I don't have a fenced yard, so pets in my home go for a couple walks. If you have a fenced yard, I throw balls and frisbees till your pet can't go anymore!

About: I have house sit, dog sit, chicken sit, and cat sit, in a variety of homes, even more remote homes where snow plowing was required. I work a flexible schedule. Hybrid remote office worker. I work Monday thru Thursday, but live within a few blocks of my place of work Located near the Columbia River with a fenced yard and no other permanent pets at my home, lots of room to play and run around the yard and trails.

About: I've taken care of my family dog many times. I've also taken care of my friends' pets including cats and puppies. I am reliable and keep a clean and tidy place. I love walking dogs, no matter the weather. I work from home 3 days a week and I am a Teacher on Call for 1-2 days a week. I can go on a walk in the morning and afternoon/evening. On days that I work from home, I will be with your pet all day. When I'm at the school, I leave around 8 am and am usually home by 3:30 pm. I am very reliable and organized. I am attentive to the pets' needs and am great at communication with clients. Your pets will be well cared for with me :) I live in an apartment, but it is very easy to step outside, and there is the Mission Creek trail that is a few minutes walk away from my place.

I really appreciate getting to know each animal and their own unique personalities. I am comfortable to work with animals who need special care - including medicine or reactive tendencies. I love taking dogs for long walks, taking time to play and snuggle, and ensuring that each animal is well cared for. I lived with my cat, Booty, for 8 years til he passed on, so I also have experience with inviting pet-sitters to come stay in my home. I am a freelance writer, so I have a flexible schedule and am available to stay in your home as well if you would like overnight care. In my own home, my pets are free to roam wherever they want and get scheduled food times with the occasional treat. About: I've worked with dogs of all temperaments. Shy or nervous rescue dogs are no problem! I can handle any dog, big or small, high energy, timid, low energy, large breeds, or large personalities. I live in walking distance of the dog park, as well as a wooded trail system for your pup’s enjoyment. I never stop learning about dogs so you can rest assured knowing you have one of the best looking after your pets. I am layed off of my full time career for the winter so my time is your pets time. I am available most days and overnight with very few exceptions. Whether caring for pets in my home or theirs, I prioritize their comfort, routine, and well being. In my home I create a safe and welcoming environment (I have plenty of toys and very soft blankets for them). I have just as much energy as your pup and give them plenty of play time, exercise, and affection. I follow any special instructions strictly, Including feeding schedules, medications, walking routines, and anything else they may need from me. When staying in the pets home, I treat it with the utmost respect, keeping it tidy, secure, and as it was. I make sure pets feel at ease in their familiar surroundings, providing companionship, regular updates, and lots of love. My goal is to give both pets and their owners complete peace of mind so they can enjoy their vacation, or go about their daily life.

About: I grew up with pets and hobby-farm animals. Have experience dog walking, pet sitting and have been a long time nanny and pet carer. I will treat your home and pet(s) like my own :). I am currently working mostly remotely for a local non-profit giving me lots of time to spend with your pet. When I am out of the house for work it is at most for a couple hours at a time. I am very cautious and safety conscious. I would never put put your pet at risk due to negligence. I am attentive and will make good decisions for your individual pet.
