kylie looked after our two dogs. She came to our house and took amazing care of them. Every day we received pictures of our pups and we couldn't be happier. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter. ❤️

Camille spent lots of time with my cats and they were happy and healthy when I came home. One of my cats has asthma and is in need of a daily inhaler. His breathing was as normal when I came back. I would hire her again!

About: Hi, I’m Jared I am available for one or two week sits over the winter in the sea to sky region including Vancouver. At the bottom of the pictures are snapshots of over 40 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ reviews from a past profile. I’m highly experienced and love love love animals ❤️ 🐶 I would love ❤️ to meet you & your pet. Don’t be thrown off by the Whistler reviews I have posted. I am available throughout the sea to sky region. I live in Squamish. ✅ Do you want to go out for a day or evening in Whistler, worry free? ✅ Want to know your loved one is being loved, adored, and exercised? ✅ Don’t want to rush home or back to your hotel? I would happily be your dog’s companion and care giver for the time you need. 👨‍🎓I am an environmental scientist working predominantly from home and have years of experience looking after dogs. I have done this all over the sea to sky region and over 5 countries. 🌎 Pet sitting has also taken be abroad, pet sitting in Norway, Portugal, and France. When I dog sit we go for long walks or runs or whatever form of exercise is requested & give LOTS of love & cuddles. I do not have a pet of my own as I tend to travel as much as possible, so instead I love other people’s dogs instead! ❤️ If you are looking for a clean and tidy, caring and responsible individual to care and love your buddy, please be in touch. 🐶 PLEASE NOTE: *Day sits that go past 8 hours are charged at $10 per additional hour *Additionally, and I really hate to say it but it has happened several times already where a dog comes in and immediately pees on furniture either out of nervousness or to mark their territory, I get it. If I were a dog in a new environment I might also feel the need. That being said (sigh) if your darling is past puppy age and does this there will be an additional $150 fee for carpet cleaning. This is the direct cost to me and their minimum service fee. I hope you understand. If so, please write “WE LOVE DOGS” when you inquire about a booking. I look forward to meeting your loved one. I work from home with a lot of flexibility and would love to look after your sweetheart. Lots of potty breaks and at least 1 hour of exercise/breaks per day based on your dog’s needs. I live in a house and Squamish is full of great trails and some off leash parks. I have lots of time to dedicate to the love and care of your pets. I send regular updates with photos via this app or text. Requested information about your pet I love all dogs and feel comfortable with them all, I am comfortable administering medications as needed. How is your dog with other dogs, people, and children? Is your dog neutered or spayed? What is the age? Is the dog crate trained, will he/she be using the crate? Is your dog house trained – as in doesn’t go to the bathroom in the house, does not destroy household items? WHAT TO BRING: These are suggested optional items you may want to pack so your dog has all he/she needs. ❤️ Dog bed ❤️ Treats ❤️ Towel for those wet days ❤️ Ball or other toys ❤️ Food or medicine if needed ❤️ Leash of course 😊 ❤️ Poop bags. I usually have extra if you don’t have any

About: I have always had pets… dogs, cats, llamas, iguanas to parrots and toucans and loved and spoiled them all passionately! You can relax while away, knowing your pet is content and cared for in the most loving way possible. I do prefer dogs to be 60 pounds or less. I am retired with lots of time to walk and play with your pets . I am live rurally, surrounded by nature, with a river at the back of my acreage and a rail/trail out front. I live on acreage. While your pet(s) is staying with me, he/she would always be leashed outside for walks. Inside however, my home would be their home and there'll be lots of cuddles and interaction.

Best sitter ever! Thank you Kiara for watching our furballs and being such an awesome, reassuring house sitter ! My cat who is sensitive to new people loved her and cuddled with her, never done that before.! Our dog who is a rescue was comfortable and happy with her through some of his quirks. Thanks for being patient with our sensitive house hold. Highly recommend her!

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Pet Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Pet Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 27 sitters on Rover for Pet Sitting in Trail. About 88% of Trail sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Trail stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:

  • Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
  • House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
  • Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.

Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Trail choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
