We are so luckily to have met Danica! Our fur baby can be quite reactive and not do well with strangers. But with Danica's love, patience and expertise for animals our dog Mowgli had no issues with her. She took it super slow with him and made sure to watch for any clues that Mowgli wasn't comfortable and by the second night Mowgli was already snuggling with her feet! Can't wait to book her again soon.

Emily stayed in our home and cared for our two mischievous large dogs, and one elderly diabetic cat. By far, she has been the best pet sitter we have ever had (and we've had some good ones)!! Our three girls are a real handful given their different personalities, feeding schedules, exercise requirements and medication needs but Emily handled it all with calmness and care. We received daily updates with pictures and videos that clearly revealed that the girls felt happy and comfortable with her being there. She also kept us posted when she was leaving and when she would be back. Emily is a gentle, animal-loving, responsible person whom we have already booked for our next trip. She is one of a kind!

Lyra was, without a doubt, the most skilled, patient and friendly dog sitter (and trainer!!!) we have EVER had. Our dogs adored her, and she went above and beyond to train our new rescue dog, working on his fears, barking and leash pulling. I didn’t worry once about either dog, we were updated frequently with pics and training progress, and we came home to HAPPY, brushed dogs and a spotlessly clean house. I can’t recommend Lyra enough!!! Amazing.

About: Animals have been at the centre of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and cats, and I’ve shared my home with beloved cats for most of my adult life. Over the years I’ve also co-habited with small and medium dogs, cared for senior pets, and supported many animals through the last gentle stages of their lives. My professional background is in environmental science (35 years), a path I chose out of love and devotion to animals, wildlife, and the natural world. Outside of work, I spent years volunteering with animals — from supporting elephants and reptiles at the Valley Zoo to caring for over 70 elephants at an orphanage in Sri Lanka. I even trained one elephant, Devi, to paint using positive reinforcement. I’ve also cared for small exotic pets, including ball pythons and a garter snake. Today, I bring all of that experience into calm, compassionate, reliable pet care for dogs, cats, and small animals. I’m gentle, observant, patient, and very attuned to the emotional needs of animals — especially seniors or those who are shy, anxious, or needing extra support. Skills & Care Abilities: Administering medications with confidence: pills, injections, liquid meds via syringe, and puffers for dogs and cats Handling senior or special-needs pets with patience and gentleness Cat nail trims Dog bathing and brushing; cat brushing (hairless cat bathing and grooming) Experience with freshwater and saltwater aquariums Comfortable with reptiles and other small animals Master Gardener/Composter certified (City of Edmonton) — happy to care for plants, yards, and gardens as well Calm, confident, experienced around all animal personalities Clear communication and daily updates I’m recently retired, which allows me to offer steady, unhurried, fully present care for the animals I look after. When I’m not volunteering in Asia or Costa Rica, I work quietly from home doing computer-based volunteer work — which means your pet will have company, consistency, and a peaceful environment throughout the day. Because my schedule is flexible, I’m able to take dogs out for frequent walks, playtime, and pee breaks, tailored to their age and energy level. I’m equally happy to spend long, calm stretches with small dogs or cats curled up on my lap. I genuinely enjoy the simple companionship of animals, whether that means gentle snuggles, quiet presence, or attentive support for senior pets needing extra patience. My home routine is calm, predictable, and nurturing — ideal for pets who thrive with kindness, attentiveness, and a steady rhythm. Because I specialise in caring for cats and small dogs in their own familiar environment, my focus is always on creating a safe, calm, and reassuring experience for your pet while you’re away. In Your Home (House Sitting & In-Home Care) Your pet’s comfort and routine come first. I follow your instructions closely — feeding times, walks, medications, bedtime rituals, favourite toys, and comfort preferences. I maintain a quiet, predictable environment, and I am attentive to small changes in behaviour, appetite, or energy level. I double-check doors, gates, and windows to prevent escapes I ensure safe handling during comings and goings I keep a tidy, hazard-free space I send regular updates with photos so you always feel connected I provide lots of gentle companionship, cuddles, lap time, and enrichment Cats and small dogs often bond quickly with me due to my calm presence and decades of experience. Drop-In Visits For drop-ins, I offer flexible, attentive care — feeding, litter cleaning, short walks, medication administration, brushing, playtime, or simply quiet company if your pet prefers. I take care to observe how your pet is feeling each visit and adjust my approach accordingly. Overall Approach With lifelong experience with animals — including senior pets, pets needing medication, and shy or anxious animals — I bring patience, reliability, and a gentle, steady energy. My background in environmental science and animal care has taught me to be observant, respectful, and attentive to detail. Your home and your pet are treated with the utmost care, respect, and kindness.

Jasmine has excellent communication with a wholesome heart, kind personality, and comforting way about her right from the first meeting. Jasmine stepped up beyond my expectation and was able to show positivity, compassion and maturity while also thinking ahead and outside of the box which proved to me that my pets were in good and very capable hands. Looking forward to choosing her to care for our pets in the future! Highly recommend.

Zenna did a great job housesitting our 2 large dogs for a week! Her communication was great throughout the initial booking, meet and greet, and our trip. Our dogs eat raw and can be a bit of a handful, but she took the time to ask all about their routines, temperaments, and quirks during the meet and greet. She sent update pictures throughout our trip, and when we got home our dogs seemed happy and well taken care of. Our house is clean (even with a shedding Husky). I'd definitely feel comfortable have Zenna watch our pups again!

About: I’ve been around dogs of all sizes breeds and personalities my whole life. I am comfortable and confident caring for dogs that are small, large, shy, social young or old. For the past two years, I have volunteered as an advanced dog walker with Edmonton Humane Society, where I have received hands-on training with their expert Behaviour Team. I’m currently completing an online diploma, which gives me a very flexible schedule. This means I’m available for pet care throughout the week and on weekends morning afternoon or evening. Since my studies are self-paced I am able to easily prioritize your pets needs and give them attention time and care they deserve whenever it’s needed. While I don’t host pets in my own home, I have plenty of experience, caring for pets in their own space and staying at clients homes. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and secure in a familiar environment so I always do my best to maintain the usual routine Whether it’s drop visits or overnight stays I treat your home and your pet with the utmost care and respect

I have a large fenced yard and no pets, dogs are welcome on all floors of the house, i keep doors closed for any areas that i don’t want them in. they are allowed on my furniture but if them staying off furniture is part of your training, then i am happy to apply that rule at my house as well!

About: I've been a pet companion for nearly 10 years, with both a dog and a cat, and I bring 5 years of personal and professional industry experience. My areas of expertise include: - Diet - Grooming - Behavior - Basic Training - Anger Management - Separation Anxiety - Anticipation I've always been passionate about pets! As a hustler, it's tough to own a pet myself right now, but I'd love to help pet parents in any way I can. Back in my country, services like pet sitting don't exist, and I've missed multiple trips to care for my pet. It's hard to trust a random person, so I see this as my chance to create a safe space for both you and your pets. The first and important thing for me about caring any pet is Supervising! About: I have been a pet owner for 20+ years, primarily dogs and cats. I truly love animals and have an in-depth knowledge of what is required to care for them through valuable personal experience. Truthfully, I usually like animals over most humans. lol Besides the every day duties of pet care (i.e. dog-walking, cleaning litter boxes, feeding, etc.), I also have experience giving medications and administering needles. I have a very flexible schedule and reliable transportation which allows me to be more available to you! For dogs specifically, I have a SUV and am more than willing to take your dog to the off-leash park, if permissible. I am not scared of high maintenance animals, behavorial issues, etc. While with your animal, they will get my undivided attention and care. Fun fact: My doggo (Charlotte) and I were a pet-therapy team with the Northern Alberta Pet Therapy Society until she passed away. We completed most of our visits at hospitals and seniors lodges. It was a very fulfilling part of my life, bringing joy and smiles with a simple visit from my beloved pup.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and animals my whole life, and caring for them has always been second nature to me. I truly love meeting new pets and making them feel safe, happy, and loved while their families are away. At home, I have a sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Henry, and together we stay active in agility, barn hunt, and rally. I also have a large, fully fenced backyard that’s perfect for playtime and fresh air. Because of my experience training with Henry, I love keeping dogs mentally engaged too — whether that’s teaching them new tricks, practicing enrichment games, or using puzzle feeders to challenge their minds. Whether your pup is happiest snuggled up on the couch, going for long walks, or learning something new, I’ll make sure they feel right at home and cared for like family. 🏡 Dog Boarding (In My Home) I offer a calm, low-stress boarding environment with lots of personal attention. • I only take one dog at a time, or two dogs from the same household • No females in heat • Meet & greets are required beforehand to ensure everyone gets along • Your dog must be comfortable around cats, as I have two of my own • Daily walks tailored to your dog’s energy level • Plenty of supervised backyard time, enrichment, and a home-style routine • Daily photo and video updates so you can see how your pup is doing This setup allows me to give your dog my full attention and keep their stay safe, relaxed, and personal. 🐕 Dog Walking Each walk is tailored to your dog’s energy level and preferences. Every walk includes: • A map of our route • Photos and updates during each walk So you can see exactly where we went and how much fun your pup had. I have been self employed and have worked from home for several years now. My schedule is very flexible. I can work around your schedule. I live in my own cozy home with a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and relax. My pup Henry is a sweet, friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves meeting new friends and is great with dogs of all sizes. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your dog with someone you trust. That’s why I treat every pup like family—with plenty of love, attention, and care. Whether your dog prefers the security of a crate or the comfort of curling up in bed, I’m happy to follow their routine so they feel right at home.

We are sooooooo happy Erica was petsitting for us! We felt so safe knowing she was taking care of our pets. She did an absolutely fantastic job, sending updates and photos and always responding quickly to any questions. Our cat had a vet visit just prior to us going on vacation and Erica was great giving her the meds while we were away also. This is the first time we've used a pet sitter and we're so happy we found Erica. Much better for our animals staying in their own home, and the quality of care Erica provides is exceptional! Our dog was looking for her when we came home! Our flight was delayed on the last part of our journey home, and Erica kept in constant contact to make sure our pets would still be looked after if we weren't able to get back the same day. We highly recommend Erica, and would absolutely book her pet sitting services again! Thank you, Erica for looking after our pets as though they were your own. We're so grateful for the care and attention you gave our pets. They miss you already!
