About: Hi I’m Raquel, a lifelong animal lover with a soft spot for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Whether it’s playtime or just some cozy company while you’re away, I’m here to make sure your pet feels safe, loved and cared for! I’m currently working full time, mostly from home and would love to help you out during my lunch or around my work schedule, just let me know what time works for you! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I understand how important it is to feel confident about who’s caring for your furry family member. That’s why I treat every dog as if they were my own. I always aim to create a calm, pet-friendly environment where your dog can feel secure and loved. I take the time to get to know each pup's personality and needs, keeping communication open with pet parents every step of the way. You’ll receive updates, photos, and peace of mind knowing your pet is in trustworthy hands.

About: Dogs and cats of all personality types seem to be pretty comfortable around me. I've walked, groomed, and fed neighbours and friends dogs and cats. I've even been able to calm down a neighbours dog enough to brush him, even though he does not like being groomed. I have a keen eye for body language and know when to react gently and when to act quickly. Safety first and fun is the name of the game. I am working part time from home, so spending some time with your pet will be a nice change of pace. I love to go on walks, play, or hang out. I'm mostly available in the day from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM on weekdays for now, but my hours may open up more later. I always take extra precautions and make sure that all doors are locked or closed. I have a pretty thorough knowledge of which foods and plants are toxic to cats/dogs, and ensure that there are no safety hazards present.

“Always great, friendly and so lovely to my dog! Anthea is amazing and would recommend her to anyone!”

About: I've enjoyed taking care of pets my whole life. Caring for them, walks, and grooming. I had the great pleasure of assisting in surgeries, vaccines, and pet recovery. I'm currently working part-time so I have a flexible schedule to help take care of all your pet needs. Including boarding, walks, drop ins and basic training. I have a fairly large fenced in yard. Lots of shade. I have a friendly dog that I'm sure your fur babies will enjoy playing with.

About: Hi there! I’m Shelby, and I am a passionate and dedicated pet caregiver with over 10 years of animal care experience. I spent 8 years as an equine midwife, bringing new life into the world and ensuring the health and safety of both mares and foals. I’m also a non-smoker and only accept non-smoking homes. For check-ins or dog walking, I focus on your pet's needs during that time, including feeding, walks, and play. I make sure they’re comfortable and well-cared for, offering companionship while you’re away. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions to keep their routine consistent and stress-free.

All food must be supplied and please specify if your pet has any dietary restrictions or health concerns. I can’t wait to meet you and your pet. About: I've taken care of pets for more than 8 years. I have owned and cared for dogs, cats, birds, fish, and hamsters. I raised up and trained my own two dogs. Currently, I have a big pup. I'm working part-time. I have plenty of time to play and care for your pets! I am coming to give your pets all the love and attention they deserve and what you want for them. Pets are happier and experience less stress at home. I will be happy to visit or stay in your house and meet all the necessary needs of your pet. Your dog and cat will have plenty of exercise, playtime, and love!

About: I grew up with one cat and a couple of dogs (at different times in my life). My cat, Maggie, was my primary responsibility and I played with her, changed her food and litter box, and took her to vet appointments when I was older. One of my childhood dogs, Tess, had cerebellar hypoplasia, which meant that she experienced seizures and difficulties with coordination. From Tess, I learned the importance of balancing safety and autonomy. The experiences that I had with my childhood pets made me want to pursue pet caretaking in my adulthood! I currently have two Border Collie, Australian Shepherds (Olive and Cooper) with my partner, and they keep us active! We love to go for walks and hikes with them, and enjoy working on their training, when appropriate! From Olive and Cooper, I have learned and continue to learn about high energy dogs and the importance of adequate mental and physical stimulation. I am currently enrolled in a program at Georgian College, which starts in the fall. I am looking for work this summer and plan to continue working around my schedule, when school starts! I make sure to give my dogs their own time and space. I have found this to be very important because one of them has been rehomed and is newer to us, so this allows for both to feel special and cared for during the transition and longterm This has looked like, separate walks and off-leash time. But they do enjoy their walks and hikes together, and hanging out in the yard; I like to join in by throwing a frisbee/ ball or incorporating some training, like working on their recall or practicing their favourite tricks! I have also had a cat and taken care of cats, and I like to engage with them when they are interested. But I am also happy to just provide company, if that is all they need.
