“Maria was wonderful. Very kind, understanding, and helpful. She was great with my cats and was easy to communicate with. She was able to administer oral medication to my cat Kovu. Thank you Maria for your reliable help!”

About: 🐾 Hi, I’m Kaelyn! 🐾 I’m a reliable and caring pet lover with experience caring for both dogs 🐶 and cats 🐱 of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply sticking to their routine, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. ❤️ When I’m not spending time with furry friends, I work full-time in finance with the Ontario Provincial Police 💼. My career has taught me the importance of responsibility, trustworthiness, attention to detail, and clear communication—qualities I bring to every pet I care for. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust, and I’ll treat your pets as if they were my own. 🦴🐾 I’ll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. 📸💕 I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members! 🐕🐈 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I work full-time in finance during regular business hours, so I’m available for morning, evening, and weekend walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. I genuinely enjoy spending my free time with animals, and I make sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. When caring for a pet, I plan my schedule around their routine to ensure they’re fed on time, get plenty of bathroom breaks, exercise, playtime, and lots of affection. I only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to, so every pet receives the dependable, high-quality care they deserve. 🐾❤️ I believe every pet is happiest when they can stick to their normal routine, so I take the time to learn about each pet’s individual needs and preferences. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, exercise, and mental stimulation throughout the day. I’ll follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any house rules you’ve established. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, so I’m happy to adjust my care to match their energy level and comfort—whether that’s an adventurous walk, a game of fetch, or relaxing with lots of cuddles. Communication is important to me, so you can expect regular updates, photos, and messages while you’re away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved, while giving you complete peace of mind knowing they’re in caring and reliable hands. 🐾💕
“I reached out to Debra at practically the last minute when a cat sitting arrangement I had made for my vacation fell through. Debra responded immediately and agreed to take my kittens on. She was warm and friendly, both to my kittens and myself. Her communication was excellent and she provided me with thorough updates and adorable photos and videos every day. I sensed from the moment I met Debra that my kittens would be in safe hands and she proved to be as reliable as I had predicted she would be. I would highly recommend Debra and look forward to working with her again.”

I provide a safe and loving home where they can feel safe, are free to roam, can snuggle on couches & most importantly ,feel like they are at home. I provide full-time availability. 24 hours, 7 days a week. I I'm also happy to accommodate those who do not work the typical 9-5pm. I work hard to always provide a clean, safe & tidy home on a daily basis. They are free to roam around the house, Play and relax in my fenced backyard, or cozy up on the couch for an afternoon nap.

About: I've always had pets since I was very little, dogs and cats both, and have pet-sitted quite a bit since then. From bully breeds to kittens, I've had experience with all kinds of animals. I can't wait to meet yours! I'm an online part time student so I have quite a bit of time to spend with your pets, I love the outdoors and the indoors so I'm delighted to spend time with your pet. From the moment that I'm with your pet, it will have my full attention. I'm always careful about flight risks when entering and exiting. When exiting I'm always careful to make sure all exits are closed properly. On walks I tend to stay away from other dogs for your dogs for your dog's safety. I always bring a water bottle and a dish to make sure your dog stays hydrated!
“Karyn came through for us last minute when our plans changed. Our little dogs can be a handful. Karyn looked after our babies and I think that they looked forward to seeing her every day. Would recommend and will call again if the need arises.”

About: I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life and have always had a deep love and appreciation for animals. Growing up, I had the joy of caring for Shelties, Golden Retrievers, and Papillons, each teaching me the importance of patience, companionship, and understanding every dog’s unique personality. I currently have a Golden Retriever puppy who is very loved, well-socialized, and has the sweetest, most gentle personality. He is extremely well-behaved and will be starting puppy school in July to continue building his training and manners. My partner is also home and able to help care for him, ensuring every pet receives plenty of attention, supervision, and love. If your pup stays with me, they will be welcomed into a safe, caring, and dog-loving home. I want to be transparent that my puppy may be present during stays, but I always prioritize the comfort and needs of your pet. For walks, your dog will receive one-on-one attention — I will take your pup on their own walk rather than walking multiple dogs together. For drop-ins or visits, my focus will be on giving your pet personalized care, affection, and making sure they feel happy and comfortable while you’re away. Your pet will be treated like family here 🐾 I am a teacher and will be off during the months of July and August, which means I have a very flexible schedule and am available for pet care whenever needed. I have plenty of time to provide walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Starting in September, my availability will depend on whether I accept a teaching position (LTO), but I will always have availability in the evenings and on weekends. I am committed to providing reliable and consistent care and will communicate clearly with each pet parent to make sure your pet’s needs are met. Creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for every pet is my top priority. Whether I am caring for your pet in my home or visiting them in theirs, I focus on making sure they feel secure, happy, and well cared for. In my home, pets are welcomed into a calm, clean, and dog-loving environment where they receive lots of attention, affection, playtime, and supervision. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I will always take the time to make sure they feel comfortable. My Golden Retriever puppy may be present in my home, but he is extremely friendly, well-behaved, and continuing his training. When caring for pets in their own home, I respect their space and routines while providing dependable care, companionship, walks, feeding, playtime, and lots of love. I know pets feel most comfortable with familiarity, so I aim to keep their normal schedule and environment as consistent as possible. I will always communicate with pet parents, provide updates, and make sure you feel confident knowing your furry family member is safe and cared for while you’re away. 🐾
About: I am a life long animal lover and advocate. My passion for caring for animals began as a teenager, when I started pet sitting for family and friends and volunteering at the local Humane Society. Having had pets my entire life I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust. I am comfortable with large and small experience with large breeds Whether it's daily walks, overnight stays, or simply keeping your pets company, I always strive to make them feel safe, loved, and right at home. After taking an early retirement from my career as a Developmental Support worker teaching and advocating for children and adults with special needs, I'm now able to dedicate full time my passion for caring for animals. My yard is fully fenced and I have a clean, calm and relaxed, safe home and backyard to help your pet feel calm and relaxed. Having worked for many years as a Developmental Support Worker I understand patience and compassion. Whether your pet enjoys active play, long walks or quiet companionship I'll make sure they get the care and attention they need.
About: ...a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France I have over 30 years of animal care experience - my pets, my friends pets and my family's pets. From small animals to reptiles and birds to cats and dogs, I strive to give each animal the love, respect and care each one deserves. I currently work part time and have plenty of time to look after your pets. I have the time if your cat or dog need extra long periods of time (some clients request 3 hour visits and I'm happy to accommodate) or extra play time. I am happy to look in on your dog or cat at your home. If you have specific training you use with your pets, I'm happy to follow your guidelines.
About: Now that I’m home for the summer I have plenty of time to spend with your furry friends. I live with two cats and one energetic puppy. My qualification list is extensive, as I have plenty of experience in pet sitting and walking, as well as experience working in a Veterinary office. I’m currently working part time and my shifts end around noon so my schedule is very flexible. I have lots of free time to spend with your pet and I spend lots of time at home so they will never feel alone. I have a large fenced yard to take pets out to run around and use the bathroom. I live in a large, clean, safe, and pet friendly household. Your pet will get plenty of attention and plenty of love here.
About: I'm Siobhan, your dog's new adventure buddy. I am 28 yrs old and have been surrounded by dogs and cats my whole life, and we have always had family dogs. I have a Boston terrier (Kiwi), whom I love so dearly and who has given me such a deep appreciation for a dog's development. I have trained her and my family dogs with a calm, patient approach, which I have found extremely effective. Working from home means I have a flexible schedule tailored to your pets needs. Day time is best for me, 9:30 am - 8:30 pm. I take a very hands-on approach. I believe dogs' brains are highly developed, and they understand a lot more than we sometimes give credit for. I treat dogs like I would treat my own child. I love getting to know their personalities and spending time building a connection. I find dogs listen so much better when they trust you and I focus on building trust between me and the dog.
“Jenn was great! She did daily drop in visits for our cat Monster while we were away. We could tell from the daily photos that he was having a great time with her. We could rest assured that he was in great hands!”

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats from a very early age. Caring for them has always been a meaningful part of my life, so having animals around has always felt natural to me and taught me that every animal is unique and deserves consistency, attention, and genuine care so they feel happy, relaxed and loved even when you’re not around. I treat every dog or cat like they are my own. Since I’m retired, my schedule is very flexible, which means I can spend quality time with your pets throughout the day. I truly enjoy incorporating their care into my routine and making sure they feel comfortable and loved. I look after your pets right in their own home, where they’re happiest. I stick to their normal routine and give them lots of attention, playtime, and affection. I treat every pet like family and every home with respect.
About: I've always had my own animals since I was a kid. I would look after my own cats when I was old enough to do so. Then as I got older I would look after neighbors pets while also looking after their children. I had my own golden retriever who I looked after for 10 years until she passed away last year from cancer. At the end of her life I had to administer medication every day. I am currently working full time as a courier so I am only available on the weekends to start. Beginning in June, I will be working a night shift which will allow me to be available during the day Monday-Friday. But don't worry, your pet won't be alone because while I'm working my husband will be home, and when he's working I will be home. I have a fully fenced in backyard for your dogs to stay safe and have fun off leash. We have a bungalow style home which is great for dogs that struggle with stairs. They can sleep on a dog bed on the floor or we have a crate if that's what they are used to. They will get lots of love, playtime, and treats (if allowed). I will keep you updated with pictures and videos of your fur baby while they are in my care.
About: I've been around animals my whole life and have helped my parents take care of various ones. Being around them my whole life has made me understand them a lot more and give them the care they need. I have experience with: cats, dogs, reptiles, birds, bunnies, squirrels, rats, hamsters, etc. My schedule is pretty lax and easy to work with so I'm more flexible in what I can offer. I'm usually available whenever I am needed. I'm always one for a keen sense of detail and am able to keep track of things when needed. I like to be organized and always keep a watch of things.
About: I have 10+ years taking care of people's homes, dogs, cats, tortoises, birds and plants. I can take your dog for a walk twice a day or hang out with them so they are not lonely I do not drive; however, if you are located in Orillia or within a 10-minute radius, I am available to accommodate services during both daytime and nighttime hours. I can't have animals at my apartment but can always come to your place where you and your animal is most comfortable. While I am at your place I can always water your plants and bring in your mail.

Thank you Debra for taking such good care of our two cats during a drop in visit. Thanks for accepting our request last minute as it allowed us to leave our home for the day/night for a much needed getaway while our one cat required meds and soft food because of a broken jaw. Debra was kind and professional and I would highly recommend!

You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Orillia choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
