“Debra was beyond amazing! She sent many great photo updates, which helped ease my mind. Lola was well cared for, loved and spoiled. She went above and beyond, even providing a ram outside since Lola is a senior dog. Would absolutely recommend and we will be returning clients 😊”

“Julianne was great for boarding out medium-large golden doodle for a couple of nights. She communicated with photos and texts to let us know how it was going and what they were up to. Julianne followed our feeding instructions to the letter.”

“Katia looked after our dog, Skittles for 2 weeks when we were traveling overseas. Katia sent updates and photos daily how Skittles was doing and what they did that day. Katia and her family, along with their family dog, loved our "social butterfly" pup so Skittles fit right into their home! Skittles was happy to see us but I am sure she would like to go back some time. We will definitely use Katia again.”

“Adi and his wonderful wife are absolutely lovely and wonderful with my GSD Archer. He loves being there and is treated like family. I continually receive updates and videos which give me peace of mind. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and loving place to board your pup.”

“Lisa was amazing with my 2 year old bouvier, Molly. I was sent pictures of her walking, resting, investigating Lisa's home and yard. I would definitely recommend her and will use her again if needed. It was Molly's first time away from family and she had never met Lisa before. I was nervous that Molly might cause problems, but she was very comfortable with Lisa. Thank you for such great care.”

“Krissy did an amazing job watching our two dachshunds! She was very accommodating to their needs and provided regular updates and photos. One of our dogs has anxiety and Krissy was very patient with him and took extra care to gain his trust. Thank you so much Krissy for taking such good care of Abbey and Milo, they will definitely be back!”

“Geo and Amanda are absolute gems of dog sitters. They took in both of my dogs just as their own and updated me thoroughly throughout each day. Their home was so beautiful and such a comfy safe space for my dogs to run and rest. They were absolutely so kind and made me feel so at peace knowing my babies were in safe hands!”

About: 🐾 Hi, I’m Kaelyn! 🐾 I’m a reliable and caring pet lover with experience caring for both dogs 🐶 and cats 🐱 of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply sticking to their routine, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. ❤️ When I’m not spending time with furry friends, I work full-time in finance with the Ontario Provincial Police 💼. My career has taught me the importance of responsibility, trustworthiness, attention to detail, and clear communication—qualities I bring to every pet I care for. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust, and I’ll treat your pets as if they were my own. 🦴🐾 I’ll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. 📸💕 I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members! 🐕🐈 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I work full-time in finance during regular business hours, so I’m available for morning, evening, and weekend walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. I genuinely enjoy spending my free time with animals, and I make sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. When caring for a pet, I plan my schedule around their routine to ensure they’re fed on time, get plenty of bathroom breaks, exercise, playtime, and lots of affection. I only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to, so every pet receives the dependable, high-quality care they deserve. 🐾❤️ I believe every pet is happiest when they can stick to their normal routine, so I take the time to learn about each pet’s individual needs and preferences. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, exercise, and mental stimulation throughout the day. I’ll follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any house rules you’ve established. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, so I’m happy to adjust my care to match their energy level and comfort—whether that’s an adventurous walk, a game of fetch, or relaxing with lots of cuddles. Communication is important to me, so you can expect regular updates, photos, and messages while you’re away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved, while giving you complete peace of mind knowing they’re in caring and reliable hands. 🐾💕
“I am very thankful to Karyn for responding to our last-minute booking so quickly. She is caring and trustworthy. Our dog trusted her from the get-go, and this is the best sign he was in good hands! Definitely recommend!”

“I would not hesitate for one moment to book Carlayne in the future. She is an amazing, empathetic dog lover. She made our Annie feel right at home as soon as we walked in the door. Her home is warm and inviting and we knew that we would not have to worry about our fur baby! Run, don’t walk to have Carlayne be your caregiver for your fury family members!”

“We left our 2 dogs with Sheila for one night as a trial before we leave them for a week in September. We could not be happier! She took care of them like her own, which is all we wanted when searching for someone to watch our babies. They were walked, fed (even though our younger dog does not eat when anxious/scared, Sheila tried her best and even made her boiled eggs to try to get her to eat!), and well rested. We are looking forward to their stay in September and are very confident they will enjoy their time with her. Thank you Sheila!”

“Melanie is great, I bring my GSD Simba to her regularly, she’s very supportive and accommodating even on short notices. Simba enjoys his stay with Melanie and her lovely dogs and returns happy and tired. I’ve tried day care and boarding services and I’m very satisfied with all the care she provides is both services. Didn’t see any negative changes on Simba’s behaviour after mingling with Melanie’s dogs. I would like to thank Melanie for her amazing care and would like to highly recommend her services as a dog sitter or boarding.”
“Liz is excellent service provider. We used her service first time, no complaints at all. She fed our dog on time shared tons of photos with us of him playing eating and sleeping every day. I highly recommend her.”

“Jordan is a wonderful sitter. She always goes a step and beyond. She's a natural with pets. She never disappoints! Shes simply awesome. Zoey loves you from day one. Need i say more ?”

“Kim did a wonderful job with Finn … this was his first time away from family and Kim made him feel right at home. She was great at updated us with pictures, which made us feel like Finn was being well taken care of. Also, lots of walks and play time … we would certainly bring Finn back for more visits. Thank you Kim”

About: Besides having pets my whole life I would say that my special skills include setting up cages, giving accurate dosages of medication and providing long walks and play times. Crate trained or not, I have been with all ages and types/sizes of dogs. Pet care sits my schedule because and a person of routine I enjoy getting to come home to someone. Walks, exercise, and giving entertainment are all these daily I try and accomplish. My home is large, each of the 3 levels have enough enough room to feel spacious. The yard front and back are both large. We have a pool that is swim friendly as-well and a caged in area for any off leash fun. Pets are welcome on the furniture just because that’s always how I had it when I grew up. I mean they are part of the family of course they can come chill and watch a movie. We are also near a park and lake and live In an avenue so almost no traffic.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Orillia
Danielle really went above my expectations while dogsitting! She not only took my 4 yo Golden for walks but found opportunities to socialize her in new places. When it was extremely hot outside, she took her to the lake to cool off. Danielle provided me with daily updates and followed my directions well. I will definitely use her services again should I need a dogsitter. I never had to worry that my dig was being well cared for. Thanks so much, Danielle!

I left my little dog Sofie with Krissy for 4 nights. She seemed to adjust well. Krissy sent many photos and videos and updates while I was away. I really appreciated that. Sofie loved her walks and running in the backyard. I would highly recommend Krissy and will use her again in the future.

Cooper had his first overnight visits with Mercedes this weekend. She was fantastic! I was a little nervous as it was his first time there but Mercedes eased my mind early on with a picture and told me Cooper was settling in well and all was going well. Mercedes was top notch professional and I loved the pick up and drop off services! I am soo glad I've found Mercedes. Looking forward to having more great experiences with her moving forward.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
