“Katia was great to deal with for a single night stay. Our dog was well cared for, we received numerous pictures, and he was in excellent spirits on our return. We won't hesitate to book with Katia again.”

About: 🐾 Hi, I’m Kaelyn! 🐾 I’m a reliable and caring pet lover with experience caring for both dogs 🐶 and cats 🐱 of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply sticking to their routine, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. ❤️ When I’m not spending time with furry friends, I work full-time in finance with the Ontario Provincial Police 💼. My career has taught me the importance of responsibility, trustworthiness, attention to detail, and clear communication—qualities I bring to every pet I care for. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust, and I’ll treat your pets as if they were my own. 🦴🐾 I’ll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. 📸💕 I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members! 🐕🐈 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I work full-time in finance during regular business hours, so I’m available for morning, evening, and weekend walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. I genuinely enjoy spending my free time with animals, and I make sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. When caring for a pet, I plan my schedule around their routine to ensure they’re fed on time, get plenty of bathroom breaks, exercise, playtime, and lots of affection. I only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to, so every pet receives the dependable, high-quality care they deserve. 🐾❤️ I believe every pet is happiest when they can stick to their normal routine, so I take the time to learn about each pet’s individual needs and preferences. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, exercise, and mental stimulation throughout the day. I’ll follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any house rules you’ve established. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, so I’m happy to adjust my care to match their energy level and comfort—whether that’s an adventurous walk, a game of fetch, or relaxing with lots of cuddles. Communication is important to me, so you can expect regular updates, photos, and messages while you’re away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved, while giving you complete peace of mind knowing they’re in caring and reliable hands. 🐾💕
“Debra was such a great sitter. This was our first time leaving our dog with someone and she was very caring and considerate to us and our dog. She kept us updated so we never had to wonder or worry on our trip.”

“Dale is an amazing, responsible, heartfelt “animal lover”. I am so thankful that I found her because I will certainly use her again in the future. She looked after two of my dogs, a large “mastiff x american bulldog” and her tiny companion “chihuahua x min. pinscher” with no issues at all. Dale has a calm, easy going disposition that any animal would feel completely comfortable around. For first timers, she likes to meet the pets in advance, which is fantastic (especially for dogs) and you’ll know from that first meeting you’ll be in good hands with no worry at all. I received daily texts, photos and updates on the dogs, how they were adjusting, eating and sleeping. Her and her husband were very flexible with the dogs routines, ensuring that their overall needs for comfort and mental health were met - because all dogs become a little stressed when they’re left by their owners for a week or two. After the first two days, both dogs were like putty in her hands. Dale has a great connection with animals and has the foresight to read between the lines on meeting their personal needs. She is a keeper in my books, and anyone who is able to book her, you are in VERY good hands!”

“Lisa was amazing with my 2 year old bouvier, Molly. I was sent pictures of her walking, resting, investigating Lisa's home and yard. I would definitely recommend her and will use her again if needed. It was Molly's first time away from family and she had never met Lisa before. I was nervous that Molly might cause problems, but she was very comfortable with Lisa. Thank you for such great care.”

“Adi and his wonderful wife are absolutely lovely and wonderful with my GSD Archer. He loves being there and is treated like family. I continually receive updates and videos which give me peace of mind. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and loving place to board your pup.”

“Liz is excellent service provider. We used her service first time, no complaints at all. She fed our dog on time shared tons of photos with us of him playing eating and sleeping every day. I highly recommend her.”

“If you need a pet sitter who will actually spoil your dog with love, Hanna is the one! They watched my baby for two days and provided the highest level of care. You can tell they aren't just doing this as a job -they genuinely love dogs. My pup was well-exercised, loved on, and perfectly cared for. So thankful I found them!”

“Geo and Amanda are absolute gems of dog sitters. They took in both of my dogs just as their own and updated me thoroughly throughout each day. Their home was so beautiful and such a comfy safe space for my dogs to run and rest. They were absolutely so kind and made me feel so at peace knowing my babies were in safe hands!”

“I left my cat Furio with Natalia while I was away on vacation — and it was absolutely wonderful. From the very first day, I could see how comfortable and happy he was: eating well, playing, relaxed, and not afraid at all. Natalia sent me daily photos and videos, showing how he was doing, and that meant the world to me. It was clear that she treated Furio with genuine love and care, as if he were her own. I was able to enjoy my time away without worry, knowing he was in safe and caring hands. Natalia has a big heart and a true gift when it comes to animals. I'm so grateful and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and responsible pet sitter. 💛”

“Carlayne took care of our girl for a week. We felt very comfortable leaving her with Carlayne. She gave us regular updates and photos while we were away. Our girl looked happy, she was cuddled lots taken for lots of walks . We felt like she was treated like she was at home. We will definitely use Carlyne again. Thx”

“Ellie just love’s going to Sharon’s house and it’s such a nice social place for her to be that I am looking for excuses to take her back more often! I highly recommend her!”

“Melanie was wonderful. We did a meet and greet before taking care of Mikey. Melanie is very warm and friendly and Mikey had a great day with her. She sent videos and pics of their time together. Mikey is a senior so he's pretty laid back and quiet, but he was quite happy to have Melanie here for company and getting outside. He was great when I got home as well. I would highly recommend Melanie. Hopefully we can use her services again soon. Thank you”

“Great job! My dog is a larger breed and felt very comfortable leaving him with Mike. My dog clearly enjoyed his time with Mike and he was even allowed to sleep on the couch”

“What an amazing experience with Vidya! Took such great care of our pup. Sent us picture and video updates of our boy the entire time we were away. Would highly recomend!”
About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life. They aren't just pets though, they are part of the family! We currently have a 2 year old black lab/boxer. I always want the best for my dog and I know you do too! I am currently retired and home all day every day! Your dogs will never be alone. In fact, I love taking them for walks through the forest and playing with them in the backyard! My dog has the run of the house and is allowed everywhere in the house and the backyard is entirely fenced in. They are allowed to go in and out on their own as much as they want to!
“My dog Beau had an excellent stay with Valerie at her home in Honey Harbour. He was with her for 7 days and I felt very confident with her. She gave me updates throughout his stay to ensure he was doing alright. I will definitely be using her as a sitter again!”

“Ruby had a fantastic stay with Danielle over the weekend; she didn’t even want to leave when we got there to pick her up! Danielle took amazing care of Ruby and instantly made her feel right at home. She gave her lots of attention and affection and lots of photo updates. She truly is the dachshund whisperer! I would definitely recommend her for dogs with separation anxiety. We’re very grateful she was available!”

Danielle really went above my expectations while dogsitting! She not only took my 4 yo Golden for walks but found opportunities to socialize her in new places. When it was extremely hot outside, she took her to the lake to cool off. Danielle provided me with daily updates and followed my directions well. I will definitely use her services again should I need a dogsitter. I never had to worry that my dig was being well cared for. Thanks so much, Danielle!

I left my little dog Sofie with Krissy for 4 nights. She seemed to adjust well. Krissy sent many photos and videos and updates while I was away. I really appreciated that. Sofie loved her walks and running in the backyard. I would highly recommend Krissy and will use her again in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
