About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve had cats my entire life and have experience raising and training a dog from puppyhood, so I’m comfortable with everything from playful puppies to older pets who need a little extra patience and care. I also have my RPN diploma and several years of experience working in healthcare, so I’m naturally very attentive, responsible and observant when it comes to someone’s wellbeing. I’m comfortable following routines, medications or special instructions provided by owners, and I take it seriously when someone trusts me with their pet. I’ve always had a natural connection with animals (and honestly, dogs and kids seem to find me wherever I go 😂). I’m calm, patient and affectionate, and I think animals pick up on that energy. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable and genuinely loved while you’re away. My schedule is very flexible because I work casually in healthcare, which means I choose and book my shifts ahead of time. This allows me to plan my pet-sitting commitments around my work schedule and offer a high level of availability. I’m able to accommodate a variety of schedules, including daytime care, walks, drop-ins and overnight stays. Once I commit to caring for a pet, I make sure they have my full attention and that their routine is maintained as closely as possible to what they’re used to at home. I want every pet in my care to feel safe, comfortable and genuinely happy. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or theirs, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible and make sure they get the right balance of exercise, stimulation, attention and downtime for their individual personality. I’m especially comfortable with high-energy and active dogs. My own dog was basically my four-legged training partner! We went running, swimming, played fetch with some seriously ambitious throws, and even played soccer and football together. 😂 I love giving energetic dogs the exercise and play they need, while also knowing when it’s time to slow down and relax. At home, I provide a clean, calm and pet-friendly environment with plenty of supervision, affection and room to play. When caring for pets in their own home, I’m respectful of their space and routines and make sure they receive consistent care and companionship. I take safety seriously and pay attention to changes in behaviour, appetite or overall wellbeing. I’m also happy to follow detailed instructions, including feeding schedules, medication and special-care needs. About: Besides having pets my whole life I would say that my special skills include setting up cages, giving accurate dosages of medication and providing long walks and play times. Crate trained or not, I have been with all ages and types/sizes of dogs. Pet care sits my schedule because and a person of routine I enjoy getting to come home to someone. Walks, exercise, and giving entertainment are all these daily I try and accomplish. My home is large, each of the 3 levels have enough enough room to feel spacious. The yard front and back are both large. We have a pool that is swim friendly as-well and a caged in area for any off leash fun. Pets are welcome on the furniture just because that’s always how I had it when I grew up. I mean they are part of the family of course they can come chill and watch a movie. We are also near a park and lake and live In an avenue so almost no traffic.
