“Siobhan and Marc were excellent to Duke! I really appreciated the photo updates over the week I was away. Duke enjoyed swimming in the pond a lot with their dog and I was thankful that Shiobhan gave him a little bath before I picked him up. I would recommend them and the property is beautiful, for a little doggo holiday!”

“We’re so happy we found Wayne to watch our dog Bentley while we were in the hospital having our twins! Bentley had the best time playing in the huge backyard surrounded by his favourite things: sticks, water, and doggie friends. Wayne clearly showed him so much love, and we appreciated all the photo and video updates. He and Darlene were also incredibly kind and supportive during this special time for our family—their warmth truly meant a lot to us. Truly the best dog sitting experience we’ve ever had. Thank you both so much!”

“Tracy was so friendly, welcoming and so sensitive to our senior blind dog Bella who also suffers from separation anxiety when not with us. Tracy was able to calm her down and feeling secure that she can trust her. Bella did not bark all day like she does at à regular kennel. When we picked her up, Bella was not stressed like she is usually when we pick her up at a kennel. I was so grateful for the genuine care Tracy gave to our Bella. I recommend Tracy's services as I would use hers again anytime. Merci Tracy. Claudette Lamontagne Azilda Ontario”

“Katia looked after our dog, Skittles for 2 weeks when we were traveling overseas. Katia sent updates and photos daily how Skittles was doing and what they did that day. Katia and her family, along with their family dog, loved our "social butterfly" pup so Skittles fit right into their home! Skittles was happy to see us but I am sure she would like to go back some time. We will definitely use Katia again.”

“Jane was fantastic with our Rosie! She gave regular updates with pictures, and was great with making Rosie feel comfortable in her home. Rosie also had plenty of outdoor time to get her exercise and fresh air. We would not hesitate to book Jane again when we are back in Muskoka!”

“Andrea was amazing from the start. My boy, Humphrey, was stressed and a little clingy and she handled him beautifully. He was happy and relaxed when I picked him up. Would use again, and will!”

“Lisa was amazing with my 2 year old bouvier, Molly. I was sent pictures of her walking, resting, investigating Lisa's home and yard. I would definitely recommend her and will use her again if needed. It was Molly's first time away from family and she had never met Lisa before. I was nervous that Molly might cause problems, but she was very comfortable with Lisa. Thank you for such great care.”

“Jonathan and his wife made my little Tucker feel so welcome in their home. Their little dog Carmella was also a wonderful host. She had lots of walks and cuddles. Tucker and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and to call them again when I travel.”

“Rhiannon and Patrick are exactly what we have been looking for. We have 2 Bouviers that need room to roam and people to love and they have found them. With 100 acres and endless trails Sadie and Koda came home happy and tired😀 We will definitely be booking with Rhiannon again.”

“Valerie was so friendly and kind to our blue . He was very well cared and loved for while we were away for the night . I loved how excited she was to have him over . You can tell she really loves taking care of pets .”

“Our pup had SUCH a great time with Dakota. She was excellent at keeping us up to date with progress and pictures. We were so at ease and grateful for the wonderful, loving care she received. Looking forward to her next stay!”

“Susan Y took care of our older pompoo, Eddie, for 2 nights. Eddie didn’t want to leave when I went to pick him up, and he’s got a pretty good home life! My first impression of Susan Y is that she’s friendly, personable and communicative! She will be the first person I call if we need someone to take care of Eddie again! We are definitely done with kennels!”

“Such care and kindness was given to our dog. He was well loved and played with. Sabine and her family are always friendly and enjoy the company of dogs. They are knowledgeable and respectful of dogs. They take the time to get to know our dog each time he is with them. Sabine is truly an amazing dog sitter and we would highly recommend her to anyone with a cherished and loved dog.”

About: A loving safe space awaits for your furry friend. I have owned dogs/cats/rabbits/chickens/horses for the past 30 years. Currently I have 2 working dogs and a very spoilt terrier who thinks she’s one of the children. The working dogs have been trained since puppies and we rescued the terrier at the age of 2. I currently check in and look after my mums cat in a daily basis and helped care for my mums elderly cat including giving medication. We also have chickens and rabbits so very experienced providing care for them too. I currently work part time and can take dogs to work with me or they are very safe at home lounging on the sofa with the radio on for comfort. I have a fenced large garden and 3 dogs to keep your dog company. I have a little terrier who has the run of the house and 2 working dogs who have kennels. I am more than happy to provide a crate in the house if they will feel more comfortable in the house in a crate.
About: Senior dog care experience Clean and healthy environment Work from home professional I live in a detached home with a backyard which the dogs can enjoy supervised. Most importantly, I will provide a comfortable and loving environment for your furry friend as if they were my own. I work a professional job full time from home, making it incredibly easy to provide the attention they need as well as to ensure they're safe and comfortable. I go for daily walks and have a backyard which I can let the dogs out throughout the day. The scheduling and attention is not a challenge given my work arrangements. I have a miniature poodle (Theo) myself and can take on 1 small dog at a time. There will be no other pets or dogs present during my care asides from Theo. Given my work arrangements, I have the ability to take care and watch the dogs at all times. I do not crate the animals unless you specifically require it. For the safety of my own dog, I ask that you do not book with me unless your dog is friendly with other dogs.
“Denise and Mindy were amazing with our dog Lucy. They showered her in love and cuddles while we were away and sent us lots of pictures to reassure us. We would love to have them watch our pup again for us. We highly recommend Denise and Mindy to watch your pup!”

“Joan is wonderful and highly recommended. Our dog had such a fun time staying with Joan over the weekend. She sent us many pictures, kept us updates on all he was up too and we were so at ease knowing that our dog was in good hands while we were away. So thankful to have found her !”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bracebridge
Wayne was fantastic. I was a little nervous to leave my 5 month old puppy with someone while I did an art show in Bracebridge but Wayne put me at ease. Wayne was a great communicator and sent me pictures of how Maggie was doing. She was super excited to go back each day.

Wayne and his wife were great with our Nala girl. She met friends next door and Wayne has a wonderful property that allows her to run and play. They gave her all their attention and were focused solely on her. She will be going back and we feel very at ease with it.

The best experience ever! We met with Tracy and her dog Lucy a few weeks before the booked stay to let our dogs meet, and for me to ask questions as this was my first time using rover. Tracy watched our dog this past weekend and sounds like he had a great time! Tracy sent me multiple updates and pictures during the stay. Tracy was very accommodating to my timelines (drop off/pick up). Sounds like the whole family really enjoyed having my dog and we will definitely be using Tracy and her family again next time. I can’t thank them enough for taking great care of my fur baby.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks.
