During the stay we received constant updates, pictures and videos which made our first time away from Teddy very comforting. Also being away from home for the first time for Teddy he didn’t sleep that well but Wayne assured us things would be fine. Teddy had such a busy day of playing that next day he zonked out for the whole night. Upon pick up Teddy was as happy as the moment we dropped him off. We know that this first time away was a great comfort and success because of Wayne and his way with dogs. About: Senior dog care experience Clean and healthy environment Work from home professional I live in a detached home with a backyard which the dogs can enjoy supervised. Most importantly, I will provide a comfortable and loving environment for your furry friend as if they were my own. I work a professional job full time from home, making it incredibly easy to provide the attention they need as well as to ensure they're safe and comfortable. I go for daily walks and have a backyard which I can let the dogs out throughout the day. The scheduling and attention is not a challenge given my work arrangements. I have a miniature poodle (Theo) myself and can take on 1 small dog at a time. There will be no other pets or dogs present during my care asides from Theo. Given my work arrangements, I have the ability to take care and watch the dogs at all times. I do not crate the animals unless you specifically require it. For the safety of my own dog, I ask that you do not book with me unless your dog is friendly with other dogs.

About: Besides having pets my whole life I would say that my special skills include setting up cages, giving accurate dosages of medication and providing long walks and play times. Crate trained or not, I have been with all ages and types/sizes of dogs. Pet care sits my schedule because and a person of routine I enjoy getting to come home to someone. Walks, exercise, and giving entertainment are all these daily I try and accomplish. My home is large, each of the 3 levels have enough enough room to feel spacious. The yard front and back are both large. We have a pool that is swim friendly as-well and a caged in area for any off leash fun. Pets are welcome on the furniture just because that’s always how I had it when I grew up. I mean they are part of the family of course they can come chill and watch a movie. We are also near a park and lake and live In an avenue so almost no traffic.

He is 13 yo and on medication, an extremely finicky eater and not especially ‘social’. Each day I got an update with pics or a video. What a relief knowing I didn’t have to worry about him. About: I think it is the connection I make with all doggies. I like to make sure they are very happy to be around me and that they have what ever they need. About: 5+ years of hands-on experience with dogs and farm animals. I’ve cared for puppies, senior dogs, and a formerly reactive dog I personally trained. Comfortable with walking, feeding, medication routines, and providing calm, reliable care.
