“Megan took care of our cat while on vacation. Her care for him, made our travels easier, knowing she was going there to feed and give affection daily. She even fed our fish. The cleanliness of the food dish area and litter box was amazing. We are definitely going to hire Megan again when we travel.”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care my pets received! Carina was incredibly reliable, kind, and attentive to every detail. Maple and Heidi were so well taken care of, it gave me complete peace of mind. I loved the updates and photos, and it was clear they were both happy and comfortable. Thank you again!”

About: I grew up with 2 german shepherds and learned how to take care of big dogs since I was a kid. Currently I have a chihuahua who is my whole world but because of my studies she couldn’t come with me. I enjoy going on walks and giving the animals all the love that they deserve. I’m currently studying at Algonquin College, so I have the mornings and weekends off to watch the pets. I really enjoy their company and spending time with them. I know how to read the pets body language and respect the space they need. I follow instructions on how the cares must be and I can bond with them pretty easily.

“Aria/Rosemary took care of my cat Baileys for a week while I was away. My cat is usually scared of strangers and hides under the bed. Not with Aria. Right away, he let her pet him and brush him. Aria is also very thorough and communicative. She takes lots of pictures every day and keeps me updated. I will definitely call her again the next time I go on vacation.”

About: I have had a dog since I was 4 years old and I have been dog sitting for neighbors and friends for around 7 years High school graduate enjoying a gap year with a part-time job. So I will have lots of time to spend taking care of your pet. I have a big fenced yard. I also have a dog that lives with me part time so the house is already pet friendly. Human food is kept out of reach and dogs will be leashed when out of the fenced yard.

About: I absolutely love all kinds of cats and dogs—spending time with them is one of my greatest joys. I’m a mom to a Doberman and two adorable cats, and caring for them together has taught me how to balance different personalities, needs, and routines. I’m confident handling large, energetic dogs that are well-mannered, and I’m also very attuned to the more subtle behaviors of cats. Growing up, I cared for small pets like rabbits, birds, and reptiles, which helped me become calm, adaptable, and observant. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or simply spending time with a pet, I always aim to make them feel safe, respected, and comfortable. I currently have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home with my own pets. I’m available for drop-ins and dog walking throughout the week at any time. Your fur baby will get lots of love, attention and playtime! While I’m not offering boarding at the moment, I take safety very seriously during walks and drop-ins. I always follow your pet’s routine, watch their body language closely, and make sure they feel safe, respected, and cared for—just like I do with my own pets.

“Brianna took excellent care of our two sweet senior kitties while we were away for a week. They were very happy to see her every day for much-needed snuggles and wet food. I knew they were in good hands and I booked her again next month when we will be away for almost two weeks!”

“Dylan was great, he was a last minute booking because our previous sitters bailed with no notice and I’m so glad we got him to take care of our cats while we were away getting married! He showed up when he said, sent tons of pictures, kept in communication, and went on a cat hunt when our one cat decided to hide in the couch. Thank you Dylan! Highly recommend!”

About: We have been taking care of pets for the last 6 years, boarding in our home as well as house sitting. Primarily we have done neighbour hood pets as well as OHS work. We have been a foster family for the past year with OHS and have had the opportunity to love all kinds of breeds of dogs from small to extra large! We love them all!! I am comfortable with special needs and can adjust our schedule to meet the needs of your special pet. I love to host animals in our home and make sure they are a priority when they stay over!! I can adjust our schedules to ensure your pet has the best care needed and follow as closed as possible to the routine they are currently use to. I have a very large fenced in back yard where your pet will have lots of chance to run around and play outdoors. I also go on tons of neighbourhood walks and paths around the area. I can take in crate trained animals as well as not crate trained and I only accept one reservation at a time so your pet is the centre of attention!!! I am happy to provide photos and updates while you are away!!

About: With over three years of experience caring for and walking dogs, I’m passionate about giving every pup the love and attention they deserve. I have a natural connection with dogs and enjoy working on basic training to help them feel more confident and well-behaved. Whether it’s a fun walk around the neighborhood or a cozy, safe place for boarding, I ensure each dog feels right at home. Your dog’s happiness and safety are my top priority, and I treat every dog as if they were my own! Dog Sitting Availability: • Available both weekdays and weekends for dog sitting, with the exception of a few select weekends throughout the year (these will be communicated in advance). Dog Walking Availability: • Available for dog walking Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Walks can be scheduled within this window for your convenience. I have a fenced in yard and one friendly Australian Shepherd who loves other dogs. I have space to crate your pup if that is a part of their routine.

About: As a veterinary technician and animal owner (large, small and exotic animals) I can provide care to a wide range of critters. I am knowledgeable in both pet care and behavior training. I am retired and am looking for part-time work to fulfill my need for animal interaction. It is my passion!! I love working with all species. I am not set up to care for pets in my home at the moment. I have a senior dog who is blind. However, I can certainly visit client's homes to provide care or dog walking.

About: I have a love of animals that has become apart of me as I grew up on a farm. My favourite activity is to take the dogs to the park and play fetch. Responsible, dedicated, caring and a true animal lover. I spent 13 years riding and caring for horses, including routine and specialty care for injured or sick horses. I have spent many years at horse camps, which have allowed me to swim with horses and compete in shows. I still have a huge passion for horses; I have had to put that aside to pursue my education; I have a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in forensic psychology, with a minor in neuroscience and mental health. I am currently completing a graduate certificate in Addictions and Mental Health. I have plenty of experience dog sitting for up to two weeks at a time, which includes feeding, walking, grooming, playing, some training, and cuddling. My degree in psychology has allowed me to understand the ins and outs of classical and operant conditioning, therefore making training less difficult for me to hone in on as a skill. I always make sure to go over the pets routine and over any specific care requirements and the best way to interact with them. I have navigated with scared, and aggressive dogs and gained their comfort and trust. I have level 1 and 2 pet first aid (dogs and cats) by the Ottawa Humane Society. My schedule is flexible, as my studies are online; I prefer earlier mornings and evenings in the summer. I prefer afternoons and evenings in the spring, autumn, and winter. I make sure to know where all of the supplies are for the dog, to be aware of any bad habits or potential accidents that could happen and how to fix the accidents. I always inform the owner how the day has gone.
