About: I have been pet sitting dogs (of all sizes and with various abilities and health concerns) and cats since I was 9. I have two cats of my own in Briar Chapel, so I cannot take animals into my own house. However, I am in close proximity to all Briar Chapel homes, making it easy for me to drop by and feed or walk your animals. I am willing to stay overnight in your home if that is what you would prefer. Walking is my favorite exercise, and I'm happy to take your dogs for long walks, regardless of the weather. I have received medical and behavioral training (as a clinical psychology student), which could make me a good fit for animals with health or behavioral concerns. I also am happy to take care of any other animals you may have, as I have experience with frogs, turtles, snakes, and fish. I also have a big car, so I can take animals to the vet or to other places around town if you need it. I have an extremely flexible schedule. I can come take care of your pets multiple times a day on weekdays and weekends. I am happy to visit your home at whatever times your preferred feeding and walking schedule requires. About: I’ve had dogs big and small my entire life, and am comfortable with any dog from my mother’s stubborn Bassett hound to my uncle’s giant English mastiff. I understand that not all dogs love other people and animals, and have experience restraining them or avoiding circumstances that would put stress on the dog. I also run, and can give any dog the amount of exercise it needs! I’m a recent college graduate that is home for the summer before my big-girl job! I have very few plans and can walk dogs any time of day. I have a fenced yard, but am currently not planning on doing sleepovers. My mother’s basset hound has some resource guarding issues that we’re working on before we allow other dogs into the house.
“Mackenzie was wonderful. Great communication and awesome photo's of our kitty. The best part was we came home after 4 days and Milo was so happy. I could tell Mackenzie really understood Milo and loved him up! I would definitely, and plan to book with Mackenzie again.”

About: Hello! I grew up caring for my family dog and have always loved animals. I enjoy giving pets lots of attention, playtime, and long walks to keep them happy and active. My goal is to make sure you have peace of mind as the owner and your pet feels comfortable and cared for. I'm so excited to meet your wonderful pets! While I do work full-time, my schedule is very flexible since I work with college students. It’s far from a traditional 9–5, which allows me to accommodate morning and evening visits with ease. I also have plenty of availability on weekends for extended time with pets in your home or welcoming them into mine. I’ve been pet sitting for most of my life and truly love making sure each pet feels safe and comfortable in their own space. I’m happy to accommodate any special requests that help your pet feel more at ease while their favorite people are away, whether that means extra belly rubs, special treats, or plenty of playtime. If your pet stays with me, I live in an apartment community with a spacious dog park, a pet spa for quick cleanups, and easy access to beautiful walking trails for daily adventures.
“Lyn was amazing! We needed someone last minute for our special needs dog and didn’t even hesitate. She took great care of our pet and respected our house and property. Our dog loved her and we are excited about having her as an option to sit for us in the future.”

“Ria is an awesome pet sitter! She did such a great job with Chacco, even with all his crazy puppy energy. I really liked that she does a meet-and-greet before the visits to get to know the pets and owners. She’s super warm, friendly, flexible, and just overall great!”

About: I truly understand that pets are family. When you trust me with your dog, you're not just hiring a sitter, you're choosing someone who cares deeply about their comfort, safety, and happiness. Every dog has their own unique needs and personality. I take the time to get to know your pup, whether that means being patient with a shy rescue, playful with an energetic puppy, or gentle with a senior who moves at their own pace. I have experience with: • Training and socializing young puppies 🐶 • Providing slow, careful care for senior dogs 💕 • Supporting anxious pets who need extra reassurance and calm 🌿 I offer consistent communication, photo updates, and a calm, nurturing presence your pet can feel safe with. My goal is always to make your dog feel at home, even when you're away. I don’t just walk dogs - I build trust, one paw at a time. 🐾 I work from home three days a week (8–5), which gives me the flexibility to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. Whether it’s morning walks, midday potty breaks, or just having a calming presence nearby, I’m able to stay connected to your pet’s needs and not just check in and leave. On the days I’m home, I plan my schedule around the pets in my care, making sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and love-not just the basics. For pets who thrive on routine, this consistent presence can be especially comforting. Even outside my work-from-home days, I’m available for evening, early morning, or weekend care depending on your pet’s needs. I truly enjoy making pet care part of my daily rhythm - it brings a balance of joy, companionship, and purpose to my week. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, safety, trust, and a calm environment are always my top priorities. In your home, I work to maintain your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible - from feeding schedules to favorite toys and walking routes. I know how important consistency is, especially for anxious or sensitive pets, so I approach their care with patience, gentleness, and clear communication. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing. In my own home (if applicable), I’ve created a pet-friendly, low-stress space that’s clean, secure, and filled with cozy spots for rest and play. I always do slow introductions if other pets are present, and I never leave pets unattended for long periods. Whether it's their home or mine, I aim to make every pet feel safe, seen, and loved- like they never skipped a beat while you're away.
About: Hi! I’m Whitney — a lifelong animal lover and proud cat mom of two! I’ve been caring for pets since I was young, from helping neighbors with their dogs to fostering kittens and keeping friends’ furry family members happy while they’re away. Whether it’s a long walk, playtime, or just quiet cuddles, I love getting to know each pets personality. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind, so I treat every animal as if they were my own — with patience, affection, and lots of updates for peace of mind. I am responsible, on time, and work hard! After a full day at work, spending time with animals is honestly my favorite way to unwind. My evenings are calm and flexible, which makes it easy for me to focus on walks, playtime, and quality care. Whether it’s stopping by for a quick check-in or giving your pet some extra love after dinner, I always make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. I treat every visit like a chance to relax and connect — it’s not just part of my routine, it’s the best part of my day. Your pets will never feel like an afterthought; they’re the highlight of my evenings! I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and understood — especially when their favorite humans are away. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and quirks so I can make them feel completely comfortable. Whether your pet is playful and energetic or calm and cuddly, I’ll match their pace and make sure they get the perfect mix of attention, activity, and rest.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Bynum
Uli was great! She took the time to get to know our two cats and won them both over - even our grumpier senior cat. She took great care of them while we were out of town - going so far as to mash up our senior’s special meals and tracking his box habits (he has urinary issues) to playing with our high-energy kitten during each visit. Highly recommend contacting Uli if you need a kind, caring, and compassionate sitter. This was our first time hiring a sitter and we will definitely be contacting Uli for any future trips!

Kaelyn is a wonderful sitter for Hazel. I would not hesitate to ask her for help again. She’s thoughtful about her needs, knows the right questions to ask and she absolutely loves her work and consequently the pets she works with. Thank you Kaelyn for a great job, we will continue to use your services when we need them!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
