I am a total animal lover and have lots of time throughout the day to take your pup on walks, play fetch, and let them run around our spacious back yard. I now currently have a Mini Australian Shepherd who loves to play with other dogs. I am a part time teacher, so I am free after 12:30 M-F and weekends. For the months of June and July I am available any time during the day/night. Anytime I let pets out in the yard I will be out there with them to ensure they are safe and not getting out of the yard. We have a fairly large, fenced in flat back yard which is perfect for running around or playing fetch. I take my pup on two walks per day, one in the morning and the other shortly before dinner time (that is flexible for whether your dog needs more or less than that). My dog, Cooper, is a 4 year old old energetic and lovable Mini Australian Shepherd mix. He loves to play, but also loves his nap times throughout the day. He gets along with all dogs.

About: My Pet Care Experience Growing up, I had the joy of sharing my life with a variety of pets, each teaching me something unique about responsibility, empathy, and companionship. Over the years, I’ve cared for hamsters, cats, dogs, fish, bunnies, and turtles, and every one of them left a lasting impact on me. As a child, my hamsters taught me patience and attentiveness through their delicate care needs. Feeding them the right diet and cleaning their habitat were my first lessons in responsibility. With dogs and cats, I learned the importance of building trust and providing unconditional love. They showed me how meaningful the bond between humans and animals can be. Bunnies and turtles required different forms of care, from maintaining specific diets to creating environments that matched their natural habitats. These experiences taught me how to adapt and tailor my care to meet the needs of each pet. Even caring for fish required a level of diligence, as maintaining a clean tank and balanced water conditions was essential for their well-being. Now, as an adult, I deeply appreciate how much these experiences shaped my understanding of what it means to care for animals. This realization drives my dedication to providing the best care possible for my current and future pets. Currently, as a student on vacation, I have plenty of free time during the holidays to dedicate to their care, including playing with them, grooming, and keeping their spaces clean. During the semester, I usually have classes in the mornings, but my afternoons and evenings are free. This gives me a flexible schedule to provide attention, exercise, and care for the pets. About: I have house sat for many families, and a majority of them had pets. I love getting the chance to connect with a furbaby and take them for fun walks, grooming them, playtime, or just keep them company and lounge if they are more low-key! I have also owned dogs my whole life (Springer Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, Pugs, Jack Russel Terrier/Beagle mix, and currently a 3-year old Cattle Dog mix. I have great experience with an array of different pet types and personalities. One time I house sat and took care for a dog, cat, two goats, and ten chickens. I have been doing pet/house sits across the U.S. and around the world with THS for a few years now and really love it. Pet owners have really appreciated the care and training I provide and it makes me feel good to know that an owner can enjoy their pet even more after some basic behavioral training. I work from home (patent attorney) and make my own schedule. I enjoy playing with pets and going for walks as a work break. I'm very active and enjoy running with dogs and also Onewheeling (hoverboard) with dogs that love to run fast and for long distances. It's great exercise for all of us and the dogs always come back exhausted and ready for nap time. I have an enclosed backyard patio and an extra large doggy door so dogs can come and go as they please. I can also crate dogs that are not house trained and provide frequent potty breaks/walks.

About: I've cared for dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, frogs, parakeets, hamsters, fish and turtles. I volunteered with Guide Dogs for the Blind as a puppy raiser and learned a lot about positive dog training from that experience. I am very responsible and will follow your instructions and treat your pets (and home if house sitting) with the same care as I would my own. About: I have worked with dogs, cats and animals big and small and as an animal lover I have enjoyed it all. I have experience with young, old, sick and injured pets who have strict schedules for meds or just food and exercise. Energetic or lazy we love them all and a little extra love when the parents are away is the answer to everything. I have walked dogs much larger than myself and breeds that are stereotyped but all dogs and cats(for those who like being walked) are living animals when treated with care and thus need to be treated without stigma we put open them. I love to work with animals in all shapes, sizes, and temperament. I have worked mostly with animals who have been mistreated in some way or where very young to adapt to new homes or changes in life and care givers. I used to have dogs at home but currently my furry friends are two cats named Helios and Selene. I’m a college student and I work part time but I always communicate with pet parents about schedules and what their pet needs. I spend most of my time with animals or books. When taking care of a pet in their own environment it’s best to keep it as close to their normal set up as possible, and also to leave someone’s home how it was to begin with.
