“Tristan is fantastic! She is attentive and always supervising. She provided me great feedback on how my pup was doing. She has even taught me about dog body language and communication through the videos she sent. I highly recommend Tristan!”

“Lynn was amazing! Firstly she was able to accommodate a last minute doggy daycare request. This was our first time with Lynn and she kept me up to date the whole day with pictures and updates on Teddy. She even made sure to check with me before adding broth to his lunch. A+++! He had a FANTASTIC time and I could not be more grateful. Thank you Lynn!”

“Erica was amazing! So great with Scout! She sent us such cute pictures of him while we were out and about. I would definitely recommend her if you need someone to look after your doggy.”

“He’s was great to work with! Quick friendly and easy going communication. She sent lots of photos, loved the welcome sign with Roxie’s name on it. Would love to have Jes watch my pup again!”

“Oliver just LOVES Eryn He only needs to go to a sitter a couple times a year. So when he does we’re so glad he feels comfortable right away with Eryn. She was flexible with our schedule and very kind with our little guy. Hopefully if we’re in need again she will be available for us .”

“Excellent communication and wonderful sitters! Flexible with my appointment and very attentive to Minerva's wants! Will definitely be using in the future.”

“I could tell Odie was very comfortable and loved being at Susan’s for doggy day care after the first day. He was happy at pick up and the next day he jumped out the car when I dropped him off. Susan takes great care of Odie and I know he gets lots of loving and exercise! Naps in the car on the way home. Will definitely book with Susan again.”

About: I have over 20 years of experience taking care of both my own pets as well as my friends pets. I'm well versed in the care needed between puppies/kittens and senior dogs/cats, as well as care needed for ferrets, lizards, horses, and more. I work from home as a social media manager, so my schedule is extremely flexible. Unless my sons (11 and 9) have a sport or school event, I'm pretty much available 24/7. My family currently has an 2 year old mixed-breed pup named Cash. He has a good-sized back yard that we play fetch/run around with him in, and he has multiple daily walks. He also plays great with all other animals (we rescued him as a pup). My goal with your pet would be to ensure they're getting all of the love, exercise, and attention they need to keep them stimulated and happy, the same way I do with my own pets. Whether it's daily walks, pet sitting, or inviting your pet into our own home for a play date/stay over - I'll treat your furbaby as family, because that's what they are.
“She was very kind and accommodating with both pick up and drop off. She also gave very good photos texted to us during our pup's stay that me and my wife loved. I wish I could rate her higher I would definitely be using her services again the next time I need my pup looked after.”

“Swetha and Venkateswaran were great to say the least! As someone who is very detail oriented, I really appreciated the process and communication that they outlined. Would highly recommend having your pup stay with them. Thank you, Swetha and Venkateswaran!”

“After getting our new addition Roo, we weren’t sure what to do with her until she’s old enough to be at a doggy daycare place. Finding Antonia was such a blessing! My daughter and I were nervous to leave her but we LOVED getting picture and text updates throughout the day. Roo was always happy to see Antonia when we dropped her off, and slept for hours once we got home! Made us happy to know she was having so much fun! Thank you Antonia!”

About: Welcome to Your Pup's Second Home Hi there! I’m Gunja, and I’d love to welcome your furry family member into our home. Here, every pup gets the love, attention, and care they truly deserve because I know how hard it is to leave your baby in someone else’s hands. We have a large, private half-acre backyard that’s perfect for dogs who love to run, sniff around, and just be dogs. Whether your pup is a sprinter or a sniffer, there’s plenty of room to explore, play, and get some fresh air. It’s a safe, enclosed space where they can roam freely while I keep a close eye on them. One of the biggest things that sets my care apart. I’m home all day, every day. Your dog won’t spend long hours alone or in a crate waiting for someone to come check in. They’ll have my full, undivided attention from morning to night. Think of it as a vacation for your pup, with a devoted human who’s always around to play, cuddle, or just sit together. Medication & Special Needs: I’m fully comfortable administering oral medications, supplements, and following specific care routines. If your dog has dietary restrictions, health conditions, or a particular schedule they thrive on, I’ll follow it to the letter. Every dog is different, and I take those differences seriously. I also have a special place in my heart for senior dogs. Older pups need a little extra patience, and gentleness. Slow walks, cozy resting spots, careful monitoring is top priority here. Your senior baby is in good hands here. Our sweet Maltese, Milo, is the friendliest little guy you’ll ever meet. He loves playing with other dogs and has a way of making every new visitor feel right at home almost instantly. What You Can Expect • 📸 Regular photo and video updates so you never have to wonder how they’re doing • Consistent feeding and routine based on your schedule, not mine • A calm, quiet home environment. No chaos, no stress • Lots of cuddles, belly rubs, and genuine affection • Open communication with you throughout the entire stay 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 I truly believe that dogs aren’t just pets. They’re family. Trusting someone with your dog is a big deal, and I don’t take that lightly. Whether it’s a weekend stay or a longer visit, your pup will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them! Being a stay-at-home-dog mom helps so much. Being able to spend all my time with my little pup is so fulfilling. I have all my time to devote to your little furry child and keep them happy and safe while they're away from home and their warmth. We have a pretty comfortable house with no restrictions for your pup. There is a massive backyard that they can have a great time getting their exercise or simply getting their tan on. Of course, they will get their regular walks and any enrichment activity they'd get at home. Milo (our pup) and I, are homebodies for the most part. We're always home to give 100% of our time and care to your pup
About: A safe, clean home away from home, where every dog is treated like family. With lots of love, personalized attention, and help from my loyal German Shepherd, assistant, Lucy, your pup will feel right at home! But sets me apart from others is I can help crate dogs, potty train, to giving them their meds and walking them with a ginger lead for those elderly ones. I am currently working less than part-time. And for me, there’s no better way to spend that free time than with dogs. I also include them in my daily tasks. Every Dog’s comfort level is respected. I have both large and small crates available for dogs who are crate trained or whose owners prefer scheduled crate time (up to 90 minutes per day). I also use an indoor playpen and separate areas within the home to create healthy boundaries. Allow for quiet rest periods and ensure all dogs remain comfortable and safe. My goal is to provide personalized care, maintain each dog routine as closely as possible, and create a calm, loving environment, where pets feel secure, happy and part of the family while you’re away. It might be cliché, but I treat every dog as if it was my own.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
