About: Experience caring for anxious and/or special needs animals (diapers, mobility issues, medication, senior dogs, puppies) both professionally and personally. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been pet sitting on and off for family friends and neighbors since I was a teenager, but started doing so more professionally in the past 5 years. Most of my experience is with overnight care for dogs (ranging from a single night to a full month at a time) but I’m an animal lover with personal experience caring for every kind of pet imaginable (horses, ferrets, fish, cats, bunnies, reptiles/tortoises). I work very flexible hours part-time which mostly consists of work from home, this leaves my schedule wide open for overnight care and long stays. Very good at keeping consistency with feeding and medication schedules, as well as making sure potty breaks taken as frequently as needed (experience with special needs dogs who require being let outside/cleaned up after much more than other dogs).

I can help with pet transportation / sitting and pet walking. I am a pet owner myself, owning both cats and dogs and been around pets my whole life. About: I don’t just watch pets! I always show up ready to play, cuddle and earn their trust. I am great with shy, wild, or wise old senior pets. I tend to sing silly songs, but they don't mind. I plan my days around the pets I care for, making sure they get the attention, exercise, and love they need. Their schedule becomes my schedule. About: I'm was professional pet trainer at a major retail chain. I've lived with a dog, cat, chinchilla, hamster, bird, or fish most of my life. I love fur babies and want help people when they need to be away from their beloved pets. Most recently, I helped sit a household with four elderly dogs with various medical needs. I have experience giving medications to dogs, as well as dogs with disabilities like blindness and deafness. Ideally with pet sitting, my wife and I would meet the dogs and/or cats before we pet sit to learn their specific needs, and learn where the food and treats hide. Depending on the pets and the weather, we like long hikes/walks and short trips around the neighborhood. You actually receive two pet sitters with me. My spouse will be home most of the time while I'm at work. I'm also a certified pet sitter with Pet Sitters International. I'm a Vocational Specialist, and my wife and I work together when petsitting, so she's there when I'm not. We work together and it's a team business. I like to learn the current routine of your beloved pet(s) and try to keep their routine for their comfort. I make sure I learn your house rules and will not let those puppy dog eyes persuade me to let them on the couch unless you say it is ok. About: Hello! I have been taking care of animals since I was very little and have over 10 years of experience. I currently have 2 large dogs of my own and have owned other dogs and small animals in the past. And while I haven’t owned them, I have taken care of cats and reptiles in the past as well. I previously worked at a dog daycare for 3 years, and I’m currently working at a veterinary hospital. In working at the daycare I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from Great Danes and Pitbulls to Chihuahuas and Dachshunds, and working at the vet has given me much more insight into animal care as well. I have experience with the following: senior pets, handicapped dogs, anxious pets, epileptic dogs, medications, and training puppies. I know how stressful it is to leave your pets so I pride myself in giving the same kind of care I would want my own fur babies to have. I currently work part time during the summer, so I will have plenty of time to help out with your pets! During the fall and winter I attend college and work. I will still be available during those times, my availability just may be slim. Note: I work 6-8 hour shifts on my work days so potty breaks on days I work would be would be at least that far apart plus travel time I pride myself in giving the same kind of care I would want my dogs to receive. At this time I am not offering boarding in my home, but I am more than willing to stay at your home (with potential overnight stays if needed). I find that dogs are less stressed when they stay at home rather than at a strangers house. That being said, I always make time for cuddles and other activities to try to keep your pets at ease so that going on a trip is just as relaxing for your pets as it is for you.
