About: Animals have been a big part of my life since I was 12, and I’ve spent the last 18 years caring for cats, parakeets, and small snakes. I have hands-on experience with pets who need extra support, including caring for a family cat with cerebellar hypoplasia. I’m comfortable administering medication, trimming nails, and sticking to routines that help pets feel safe and comfortable. For the duration of undergrad, I volunteered at a bird sanctuary, where I cared for and comforted sick and lonely parrots—an experience that was truly life changing. About: Had pets my whole life. I walk all the time and know where to take them and have an SUV with enough room to fit them in. Have 2 children who adore all animals. I have a full time job, Tuesday through Saturday, but I’m usually home around 2-4 pm. I’m available every evening and can stop to let them out during the day because of my job flexibility. I love both ends of the spectrum. I love being active and taking dogs for walk/runs. I also love relaxing and cuddling with them and getting to know what their preferences.
