About: Hi! My name is Jennifer, and I am a local high school teacher enjoying summer break and looking to spend my extra time caring for animals. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently care for three dogs, two cats, a rabbit, and a blue tongue skink, and I have experience with many other types of pets as well. My dogs actively compete in agility, scent work, Fast CAT, and dock diving, so I am comfortable working with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and energy levels. I understand that every pet has unique needs and routines. Whether your pet needs a walk, feeding, medication, playtime, or simply some extra attention while you're away, I will care for them as if they were my own. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I currently care for three dogs, two cats, a rabbit, a snake, and a blue tongue skink, so feeding, exercise, cleaning, and spending quality time with animals are part of every day. During the summer, I have a very flexible schedule as a teacher on break, which allows me to provide visits throughout the day, walks, feeding, playtime, and overnight care. During the school year, I continue offering pet care services, but I am unavailable during the school day while teaching. However, I am available before and after school, evenings, weekends, holidays, and for overnight stays. I enjoy staying active with my own dogs through activities like agility, scent work, Fast CAT, and dock diving, so caring for pets fits naturally into my lifestyle. I understand how important routines are for animals and will work to keep your pet's schedule as consistent as possible while you're away. I believe pets are happiest when they can stay on their normal routine. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow all instructions carefully regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, exercise, and household routines. I take time to get to know each pet's personality and comfort level so they feel safe and relaxed while their family is away. Safety is always a priority. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure, keep pets on leash during walks unless otherwise instructed in a safe enclosed area, and closely monitor their behavior and well-being. I am comfortable caring for multiple pets and have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, and other small animals. I also know how important communication is for pet owners. I provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are being well cared for while you're away. As a pet owner myself, I treat every animal as if they were my own and strive to provide dependable, loving care that keeps them happy, comfortable, and safe.

About: Animals are my passion. I’ve taken care of many different types of dogs/cats of different ages and sizes. Through my years of experience, it’s easier to coax the most timid of animals into being my buddy. I like to learned and study what each animal needs or wants! So they are the most comfortable with me and on walks. I can check on animals mornings, midday through the afternoon and night. I’m free most weekends so any overnight stays would be fine with me. I would traditionally prefer animals to be in their own home. I know it can be stressful enough for an owner to leave their animals so I’d like for them to be the most comfortable in their own home.

About: For my senior year of high school I went to a trade school to get my vet assistant certification. I graduated and received my certificate. In the program I was taught basic grooming nails, ears, and even shaving. Everyday we would walk the classroom dogs and interact with them. After high school I worked at a doggy daycare for about 6 months before I ended up without a car and wasn’t able to drive the distance to work anymore. Looking for something to do on the side as I work a full time job but never wanted to give up working with animals as it’s my passion. I have a almost year old Pitsky puppy (pitbull/husky) named Dior. He is my such a sweetheart and loves to be around other dogs as well. Over the years I have watched my coworkers dogs, my uncles dog when he got fixed and had to wear a cone during the day so my uncle wasn’t able to watch him since he had to work, etc. I can’t wait to meet and interact with your furry friends and give them a special place in my heart as well💕 I work full time during the week but I always have evenings available to drop ins or walks. Days I am fully available would be Sunday and occasional Mondays as I now babysit as well. Weekends vary but I’m willing to be flexible. I have a nice area that I walk my dog to, to go to the bathroom and there’s also a development I walk through on nicer days, I have an extra bedroom for a crate if your dog needs to bring theirs

I have sat for family, friends, and anyone else who needs help, and would love to be trusted enough to walk/sit/watch your dog. Being a student creates lots of flexibility, specifically mid afternoon to night! I also can do early mornings and weekends if they are planned ahead.
