About: I’ve grown up in many households of pets - right now I have a great dane (Luna)! Past experience with puppies to older dogs including chihuahuas, doodles, labs, pitbulls, bulldogs, german shepherds, boxers, retrievers, great danes, etc! I’ve done any care including feeding, bathing, potty breaks, cleaning, walking, etc. Between May-August my schedule revolves around my part time job, but I am very flexible. During the school year, August-May, I am a full time nursing student, but still available most evenings and weekends! Otherwise, I often give pups an early dinner and a late-night treat before bed to ensure they're well taken care of. About: Animals have been a big part of my life since I was 12, and I’ve spent the last 18 years caring for cats, parakeets, and small snakes. I have hands-on experience with pets who need extra support, including caring for a family cat with cerebellar hypoplasia. I’m comfortable administering medication, trimming nails, and sticking to routines that help pets feel safe and comfortable. For the duration of undergrad, I volunteered at a bird sanctuary, where I cared for and comforted sick and lonely parrots—an experience that was truly life changing. While I’ve never owned a dog due to family member allergies, I’ve always loved them and have spent plenty of time around them.
