About: Hi! My name is Jennifer, and I am a local high school teacher enjoying summer break and looking to spend my extra time caring for animals. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently care for three dogs, two cats, a rabbit, and a blue tongue skink, and I have experience with many other types of pets as well. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow all instructions carefully regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, exercise, and household routines. I take time to get to know each pet's personality and comfort level so they feel safe and relaxed while their family is away. Safety is always a priority. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure, keep pets on leash during walks unless otherwise instructed in a safe enclosed area, and closely monitor their behavior and well-being. I am comfortable caring for multiple pets and have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, and other small animals. I also know how important communication is for pet owners. I provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are being well cared for while you're away. I have hands-on experience with pets who need extra support, including caring for a family cat with cerebellar hypoplasia. For the duration of undergrad, I volunteered at a bird sanctuary, where I cared for and comforted sick and lonely parrots—an experience that was truly life changing. I’m currently working full time at home so I am available after 5 pm for dog walks and drop ins. I can make exceptions and do daytime check ins if local to the Lebanon, PA area. I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, medication administration, and any special accommodations your pet may need. I take time to build trust and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. If you are looking for a house sitter and are not okay with my being away during those hours a few days a week, please continue your search! Otherwise, I often give pups an early dinner and a late-night treat before bed to ensure they're well taken care of. I've taken care of dogs here and there growing up and have just fallen in love with interacting with animals in my day to day! I promise to treat every pet like my own- offering walks, pet sitting, and plenty of love and attention to keep them happy while you're away. I prioritize pet care as a core part of my routine, ensuring each visit is timely and tailored to your pet's needs. About: Had pets my whole life. I walk all the time and know where to take them and have an SUV with enough room to fit them in. Have 2 children who adore all animals. I have a full time job, Tuesday through Saturday, but I’m usually home around 2-4 pm. I’m available every evening and can stop to let them out during the day because of my job flexibility. I love both ends of the spectrum. I love being active and taking dogs for walk/runs. I also love relaxing and cuddling with them and getting to know what their preferences. Will follow all strict diet rules and keep a very clean house to avoid unwanted eating restrictions.
