I could tell that he was comfortable there and the pictures made me happy and comfortable throughout the day. Jasper is currently exhausted and sleeping on my feet lol and as much as I love jasper I especially love him tired as cuddly. So thankful I found this family to support Jaspy!”

About: What truly sets me apart is my calm, steady presence and my firm but kind temperament — pets pick up on our energy, and I strive to create a safe, relaxed, and positive environment for every animal in my care. Whether I’m reassuring a nervous rescue, setting gentle boundaries for an excitable pup, or coaxing a shy kitty out for treats and snuggles, I approach every situation with patience, and warmth. I believe in treating every pet like family, learning their individual routines, preferences, and quirks so they feel safe and loved while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet your furry companions and give them the care and attention they deserve! Since I work from home, pet care easily fits into my daily routine. I’m able to attend to their needs as they arise and provide plenty of attention, potty breaks and walks throughout the day — not just during quick check-ins. I am available to care for your pet in my home or your home depending on the service requested. Whether in my home or yours, I will feed your pet according to their feeding schedule, provide fresh water at all times, engage in play with them and clean up after them. In my home I am able to provide a quiet, peaceful, pet-friendly environment with a large fenced in yard to run around in. Inside I love to draw the blinds and give pets a cozy spot by the window to sunbathe while watching the people, pets and wildlife pass by. It is my motto to leave a space better than you left it so while in your home I will not only follow all routines and procedures as needed but I also like to tidy up after the animals and provide photo updates to put you at ease.

“Daniel is an excellent sitter! Great communication before, during, and after my puppy Birdie's doggy daycare session, and he took great care of Birdie while I was at work. He put my mind at ease, especially since this was my first week using doggy daycare for my little puppy and it's of course so hard to be away from her for the day. But she had a great time playing with Daniel, snoozing during naptimes, and getting plenty of cuddles. We will definitely book again, thanks Daniel!”

About: Hi! I’m Alex — lifelong animal lover, with over 10 years of experience in the pet care industry full-time pet caregiver, and the proud human behind a cozy dog-friendly home in Seattle. I’m here to give your dog a safe, fun, and relaxing place to stay while you’re away, with plenty of one-on-one attention and thoughtful care. Dogs in my home have full access to both indoor and outdoor spaces, including a fully fenced ⅓ acre yard where they can sniff, explore, and play freely. They’re welcome on couches and beds (because let’s be honest — they deserve it), and I provide comfy elevated beds or crates upon request for naps and downtime. Your pup’s comfort is always a priority. I host up to 5 dogs at a time to ensure each one receives quality care and attention. I accept small to large breeds (depending on temperament and compatibility), as well as puppies and senior dogs. I’m also experienced with shy, anxious pups — they’ll find a calm and understanding environment here. Each day includes: • 3+ hours of active play (fetch, running, one-on-one games) • Scent work & enrichment to keep minds sharp • Mental stimulation & puzzle games • Walks and river access during low tide (with owner’s permission!) • Rest time, soft beds, and even homemade snacks for extra love • Optional training support if your pup is working on skills • Optional basic training support or structured sessions upon request I’m home 24/7 — your dog is never left alone — and I provide 2–3 daily updates with photos and videos. You’re also welcome to message or call anytime; I want you to feel completely at ease while your pup is with me. My home is full of love, calm energy, and outdoor fun. Dogs aren’t just visitors here — they’re part of the family. I can’t wait to meet your best friend! 🐶 Daily Schedule 5:00 AM – 10:00 AM 🚪 Drop-Off Window 🌿 Potty break + free play in the yard 👋 Welcome sniff session for early arrivals 🥣 Light breakfast/snack (if needed or provided by owner) 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM 🎾 Active Play & Social Time – Fetch, chase, tug-of-war, running games – Supervised group play & ball time 💦 Water & rest breaks between bursts of play 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM 🧠 Mental Stimulation & Enrichment – Scent games, puzzle toys, basic training (if requested) – Quiet one-on-one time for cuddles or brushing 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM 😴 Rest & Nap Time – Indoor relaxation with soft music – Access to elevated beds or cozy crates (if preferred) 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM 🌳 Walk or River Playtime (weather & tide permitting) – Short neighborhood walk – Optional supervised swimming (with owner approval) 🍪 Homemade snack time after play 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM 🐾 Gentle Play & Wind-Down Time – Soft toys, slow games, low-energy engagement 📸 Photo update sent to pet parents 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM 🚪 Pick-Up Window – Calm goodbyes, water refills, light clean-up 📦 Send home any toys, beds, or leftover food 📝 Final update to owner (if not sent earlier) In my home, pets receive thoughtful, personalized care in a safe and relaxed environment. I only take a small number of dogs at a time so each one gets the individual attention they need. My home has a calm, cozy energy with free access to a large, fully fenced ⅓-acre yard where dogs can explore, play, and relax throughout the day. Each pup enjoys a balance of structured and free playtime, including enrichment activities like scent work, basic training (if requested), fetch, and mental stimulation games. I also offer homemade treats, quiet rest periods with comfy elevated beds, and optional swimming during low tide (within my property, with owner approval). Dogs are welcome to bring their own beds, toys, or anything that makes them feel at home. I’m home 24/7, so pets are never left alone, and I provide 2–3 daily updates with photos and messages. I follow each dog’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, medications, or any special care instructions. If I’m caring for a pet in the client’s home, I aim to keep their routine as familiar and stress-free as possible. I respect their space completely and make sure their pet feels safe, seen, and cared for. Each visit includes fresh food and water, playtime, litter box or potty breaks, light cleaning (if needed), and lots of affection. I’m also happy to water plants, bring in mail, or help with other small tasks while you’re away. No matter where I care for your pet, my goal is always the same: to provide loving, reliable, and attentive care so both you and your pet feel completely at ease.

Plenty of time for all of your animals and fury friends. I have a fully fenced yard which is super secure, I have one 5 year old dog babe Star and 2 kittens Sox and Lucky who get along with everyone and dogs. In your home, I follow your house rules, take notes for detailed care instructions and follow your animals schedule. I also give all the love, cuddles, and playtime needed.❤️

About: I have been a pet owner since I was a child (cats, dogs, hamsters, etc.) and I have a certification in Animal Massage Therapy. I am patient and caring toward all furry friends! I am very comfortable with practicing obedience commands (as parents wish) and have a strong intuition for an animal's wants and needs. I am currently working part time and am home a lot. I have two dogs and a cat of my own that get all of the pets, walks, and yard time they need. Our pets are like our children, and are a priority in our day-to-day. I am adaptable to whatever the client/animal requires. At my home: the yard is fully fenced, and I live next to a city park for ample outdoor time. We have our two dogs to play with and room inside for toy/treat time. Plus lots of comfortable spaces for naps! At a client's home: I will take my cues off of the owners and the dog that is in their own space. I'm also happy to do any cleaning :)

“Tim was so good to Penny. Took her for a couple of long walks, played with her, and took great care of her. He was very communicative, sending me a few photos and a GPS tracking of where they walked for the day. Penny has been a bit skittish around some people, but she opened right up to Tim. I will absolutely be using Tim again if he will have her.”

About: Life has always meant enjoying dog relationships. Dogs visiting here at Twin Spruce Cottage are treated as if they are my own, enjoying a home setting & an attentive human. I was raised to understand dog behavior and to be comfortable around all types of dogs. Our last dog was 110 lbs of gorgeous (& alpha) Flatcoated English Retreiver. He passed at 14 with bone cancer. Now retired full time, I volunteer with dogs when I have the opportunity. I understand how to identify dog behaviors & work with them. I was a volunteer at a canine rescue program from 2001 through 2016, working both in the facility and fostering dogs who were waiting placement. I am capable of handling all sizes of dogs & willing to adjust to the individual needs of any dog. I have a dog friendly yard and do walks each day to keep them busy. There are comfy, upholstered large dog beds to lounge on and toys for play. I also am available for dog walking near me in Skyway WA. Unfortunately, dogs which require medication be given are not accepted. I am retiree who walks daily ~ without my own dog these days. For daycare & boarding I have a fenced yard which is dog friendly with room to run, lots of shade trees & some artificial turf developed for dogs. When in the house no dogs on furniture or beds but comfy dog beds are waiting. Limited number of daycare openings.
