“Great communication. Sent updates regularly! He was loved and cared for while I was away. With him being a geriatric pup, I always get worried about the care extended but had no worries. Highly recommend!”

“Kat was absolutely amazing. My schedule was all over the place and she was more than willing to accommodate me. She frequently updated me with photos and my Benjamin felt right at home.”

“Emily and Sam took such great care of our dog Kevin. This was the first time we left him with a dog sitter and we were very happy with Emily and Sam. We received daily texts and pictures of his stay at their house. He enjoyed his stay! I will use their service again.”

“Lynn was amazing with my dog, and she is an absolute delight to work with in every way. She has great communication and provides a safe and comfortable place for play and relaxation. My dog had a great time enjoying a summer camp with her. He was very happy and cared for like her own. 100/100. Thank you!”

“Darryl & Janice went above and beyond, truly exceeded expectations! This was our first time ever leaving our dogs with someone and our first time using Rover. They took the time to explain to us how it worked, reassured us with our concerns, they were patient and understanding! But the cherry on top that made this experience AMAZING was the report cards, certificates and bow ties they gave Zeus and Boo! They made this experience feel like they were staying at grandma and grandpas house and were spoiled! Thank you for your kindness and caring for our babies we will absolutely be returning!”

“Melissa was AMAZING to Milo. She kept me updated throughout my trip. Her and her family cared for Milo like He was one of their own dogs. I recommend Melissa 100 times more. I will definitely be using her again for future stays.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the incredible care Winnie provided for our dog while we were away! From the very first meet & greet, it was clear how much love and experience she brings to every visit. Our pups (who can be a bit anxious with new people) warmed up to her instantly and was always so excited to see her. Winnie went way above and beyond—daily photo and video updates that made us feel completely at ease, extra playtime and walks, and she even sent little “good morning” messages with pictures of our dog happily wagging his tail. She followed our detailed instructions perfectly, kept their routine consistent, and made sure they got plenty of cuddles and mental stimulation. She’s reliable, communicative, professional, and truly treats every dog like her own. If you’re looking for someone who will give your furry family member the absolute best care, she is the best. Thank you so much, Winnie! We’ll be requesting you for every future trip. 🐾❤️”

Specific times: Monday: After 2pm Tuesday: After 5pm Wednesday: After 6pm Thursday: 12:45-2, After 7 pm Friday: 12-1:30, 3-10 Saturday: Any time Sunday: Any time I have a small backyard with a tall wall that would prevent dogs from running out. “Natalie provided consistent communication and attention to my dog's needs, demonstrating a professional and caring mindset which instilled the utmost confidence in my dog's well being while away. She was able to provide a caring boarding home for our dog with relatively short notice and was accommodating to our drop off/pick up schedule.”

About: I have cared for many kinds of dogs and have been sitting since I was a kid. And I am willing to make accommodations for your pet. I can spend as much time as needed with your pet, I am home most of the time. And will be able to walk and play with them regularly. I treat all pets as they are my own and am open to care instructions (such and walking and feeding preference) every pet is treated with love and respect.
About: My mother raised me alongside a puppy in an area dense with wildlife. Along with our growing dog, we often had rodents, birds, or stray cats to take care of. In high school I took care of mice, and owned two sets of rats. The dog I was raised with passed at age 20, and I am experienced in taking care of senior pup needs. I'm currently working part time, and my ideal days to hang out with your pets are Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This will be the case until college starts again in the fall. I have a fenced in home as well as lots of access to pet supplies. I love all parts of animal care, whether it be active play or just snuggling on the couch. Having a senior dog, I am also experienced in handling minor medical situations.

“I’m grateful Anna was able to accommodate our last minute booking, even squeezing a meet n greet in the limited time we had, and she was able to extend their stay too! She was confident meeting my big breed, energetic, & strong dog, which was so reassuring. During their stay, my (sometimes) menace of a cat was kindly described as curious, and I was told both boys were such fun to have in the house! (Always love to hear that!) Her home is spacious & comfortable, and I know my babies felt so loved & cozy being cared for by Anna & doted on by her roomies. Thank you so much for everything! Mars & Taz miss you already🐶🐱 (bonus points and extra reassurance bc she’s studying pre-vet ✨ and on that note, I think my animals look fitter after she’s had them than when I dropped them off! Ps. My long haired cat’s coat is silky soft & has minimal shedding, so I know he was properly brushed, thank you again)🩵”

“This our second time leaving our shepherd with Maribel. She is attentive, sends pictures and updates daily. She does a training with Leia and she has come back a calmer dog. I would highly recommend Maribel! And we will be using her in the future for our next vacation.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bryn Mawr
Kyla was amazing with our dog Moji during his 1-week stay! She kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Moji looked happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. Her toddler also got along so well with Moji. We really appreciated her kindness, communication, and attentiveness. We would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dogsitter!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Bryn Mawr home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Bryn Mawr.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Bryn Mawr sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
