“Gabrielle did a great job taking care of my old lab, Duke and our house while we were out of town. She contacted me regularly throughout the entire process of hiring her and while she was staying with my fur-baby. I highly recommend her and will call her back for future services if needed.”

“Ally did a great job with our 5 cats while we were away for a short weekend trip. All of our cats have varying degrees of socialization skills and comfort with strangers but she was able to keep track of all their differences and adjust their care based on their needs. We appreciated that she hung out with them during the day and sent pictures of them while we were gone as well. We would definitely have Ally back again next time we are away!”

“Nichole was great! She confirmed our last minute request just two days before we needed a pet sitter and took great care of Finn and Pepper! They got walks and lots of attention from Nichole and her daughter. We would definitely book with her again!”

“Chelsea was great! She kept us informed and sent us pictures during her stay. Even cleaned up after our stray kitty we feed. The house was in order when we got back as well. We will definitely have her back again!”

About: I have over 20 years of pet caring experience. I have cared for all kinds of animals in my life including big animals like buffalo and cows to smaller house pets like fish, rabbits, cats, ducks, dogs, ferrets and hamsters. I also love taking pictures of animals and will add them to my profile! :) Also, please keep in mind I will have other dogs at my house. If you wish for me to only book with your dog, there will be upcharge. Thank you so much! 😊 I will have plenty of time to care for the pups as my schedule is very flexible!! I look forward to spending time with them too:) I have a very larger fenced in yard that is double fenced and there is a various parks by my house where I can walk dogs. I also have a built in security system in my house as well as security cameras.

About: Animals have been a lifelong passion of mine, and that love eventually led me to a career in wildlife biology and conservation. I grew up with both cats and dogs and see them as members of the family! I began caring for family pets at age 8, and pet sat for neighbors, family friends, and clients in High School and college. After college, I worked seasonal field jobs as a wildlife biologist and pet sat in between field seasons. I adopted my dog Abby -- a sweet, social Black Lab Pitt mix -- 11 years ago and trained her using positive reinforcement, play and consistent socialization. While I'm not a certified trainer, I do have some hands-on experience with dog training and behavior support. I've cared for pets of all ages and needs -- from energetic puppies and kittens to senior cats and dogs with mobility issues. I'm also experienced with administering medication (pills, oral syringes, and injections) and have supported post-surgical recovery and physical therapy for dogs recovering from CCL tears and tumor removals (Abby has been through both). I look forward to caring for your cat or dog as if it were my own! I am currently available to pet sit full-time and have a flexible schedule Monday through Sunday. I will update my availability regularly in my profile, to ensure it is up-to-date. Pet parents can text or call me at any time to check-in and I will happily provide text and photo updates. In your home: I will meet your pet where they are at depending on their age, energy levels, comfort and mobility. I will provide them with affection and will encourage them to move their bodies with some play time or a walk. About my home (Doggy Daycare currently paused): I live in a cozy 3-bedroom 1,000 sq ft bungalow on a fully fenced double lot -- perfect for pups to play, explore and relax safely. My neighborhood in Wyandotte has lots of walkable, dog-friendly routes, and we love getting outside. There are lots of durable, safe dog toys on hand (approved by Abby, the Toy Destroyer), as well as extra dog beds and cozy blankets for lounging. I am flexible and happy to make adjustments in my home to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. My husband works from home a few days a week, but will be in his office and will not be assisting with pet care. I will be fully available and present with your pet.

About: I was 5 or 6 years old when my first cat had her babies in my stuffed animal filled crib. I helped look after her and her babies and watch her be a mother when I was just a baby myself. I attended puppy training with my family's golden retriever and learned about the psychology and caretaking of dogs as a teen. She was never fixed and had a period, and later had a tumor that had to be bandaged daily. I've owned and cared for dogs and cats my whole life- bathing, grooming, walking, medication dispensing, feeding, loving. I have a senior dog and my brother's senior cat currently. I'm currently a caretaker for my grandmother. She has help in the day and evenings so I have plenty of time for dog walks and drop-ins afternoon and evenings. I'm available for house sitting on the weekends; weekdays can be arranged with notice. I let new animals explore their curiosity and get to know me first. My dog is an anxious girlie so I know it can take some time to earn trust and feel safe. I'm patient and let them lead.
