About: I have been passionate about animals, big and small, my entire life! I have volunteered at humane societies, fostered animals in need, cared for the pets of family members and friends, interned at AZA-accredited zoos, and worked at wildlife sanctuaries. Currently I am a full-time licensed wildlife rehabilitator caring for injured and orphaned Wisconsin wildlife with the goal of releasing them back into the wild, but I have previously worked with a variety of domestic animals both in my personal and in my professional life. I am well versed in animal behavior, body language, and positive reinforcement. I promise to treat (and spoil) your pets like they are my own! At the moment I have 3 sweet cats, a high-energy dog, a mischievous chinchilla, and a gentleman of a ball python! Please do not hesitate to reach out and get to know me more! I currently work 4 days of the week at my full time job so I am only available select days. I am eager to spend time with your pets, however, so if my schedule shows I am unavailable, please reach out anyway as I try to be as flexible as possible! It is extremely important to me to use Fear Free tactics when interacting with any animal. Gaining the trust of you and your pet are my top priority!

About: I recently adopted my own dog as a puppy during the pandemic and have been a proud dog mom ever since! Besides my own dog I have experience with walking extended families dogs and caring for my friends dog while they were out of town. I'm looking to use the skills and experience I have gained to care for other pets in my neighborhood! I'm currently a new grad school student at UWM (go panthers) so my schedule has a bit of flexibility to it. I have classes in the evenings at the moment and would prefer to do morning walks during the week or anytime during the weekend! While at a clients home I am very attentive to their pet and its needs and make sure to give it the same love and care as I would my own!

“Becky has been great with our 70 lb HYPER lab. He loves his walks with her and it’s so comforting to have someone trustworthy who is able to dedicate 30 mins of their time to him when my husband and I both work full time and can’t always make it home during the day. I would obviously recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable dog walker.”

“Genesis is everything you’d want in someone taking care of your pet! She was amazing with my senior dog and was a fantastic communicator too! I would highly recommend her services to anyone and will definitely be seeing her again soon! Thanks Genesis :)”

“Angelina was F A N T A S T I C. Communication was perfect, always there when we needed her, and she took SUCH good care of our Stewart, and that’s no small task because he’s kind of a dufus. But he’s our dufus, and Angelina made him feel like so happy and loved. He would absolutely lose his marbles as soon as he saw her pull into the driveway every day. We love our Angelina and can’t wait to hire her again in the future!!”

About: i’ve walked dogs for two years in high school and grew up in a family with a lot of dogs. Over the summer I babysat my extended families dogs and I babysat up to 6 dogs at a time. I’m home for a limited time before I go back to college but during the week and afternoons on the weekend I’m pretty much free until i leave on January 7th all of my pets were trained by learning and teaching with a reward system as opposed to discipline or any physical action taken against the animal. When I work for you, your rules become my rules when I’m taking care of your pet and entering your home.

“I’m so glad I found Jan on Rover! She is a great dog walker. When she came and met our puppy prior to her first walk I could tell she is a big dog lover. Her job is flexible so she is able to be flexible with coming over as well. Great at communicating about the walk/playtime. Our puppy had a stomach bug and she kindly cleaned up his accidents when she came over. I also overbooked her and unfortunately had to cancel a few walks. She was very nice about it. I will definitely be using her again! I can’t recommend her enough.”

About: Animals have always been a part of my life. They show us so much love. Who are we not to give it back in return. Since the passing of our long time dog (Roc,15) we’ve been watching our friends and family dogs while they’re out of town. In each case the owners return with their dogs a little hesitant about wanting to return home. LOL. I work from home and I have no plans of switching to another job that would require me to go into the office. Therefore, I have plenty of time to play with your big and little babies. I also like to take walks at minimum twice a day. This is a perfect time for your fur babies to stretch their legs. After a nice long walk I clean their paws to make sure they leave the yucky stuff outside. I have a designated area where they can sleep. However, I like to keep them close to me during the day while I’m working. I think it sets them up for a positive visit. They immediately become part of the family. I also have the flexibility to take them out throughout the day. There is a highly recommended veterinarian within a two minute driving distance and maybe a ten minute walk in the event of an emergency.

“Shelby is great! We couldn’t ask for anything better. Shelby walks our dogs three days a week and she’s been on time, extremely sweet, the dogs love her and she keeps us informed on our dogs. We have a big German Shepherd that tends to pull on walks, and Shelby rose to the challenge without complaints. I highly recommend her to others looking for a walker.”

About: I grew up with cats and dogs and have raised my own cats and dogs, including a dog with health issues. I also am a volunteer dog walker and foster for MADACC. I'm an ultra runner, so what better way to get in some miles than to run with your dog?! I work from home part-time so I have flexibility during the week. On the weekends, I just have to work around my kids' sports schedules. I have years of experience running, walking and hiking with my own dogs. I will keep your dog safely leashed/harnessed while we are getting our steps in, making sure they are comfortable and properly hydrated.

“My dog gets excited when she hears that her friend Daniel has arrived for their afternoon walk. He seems to enjoy his time with her as well and is very kind and communicative. I've only had positive experiences with Daniel.”

“Kristina communicated very well and was very patient when dealing with some technical difficulties relating to my apartment building access. My neighbors said she was pleasant and Korbin enjoyed his walks with her!”

About: I’ve always been the neighborhood pet sitter since I can remember. Now that I currently work from home and have a lot of time/flexibility, I would love to help out with your pup! As I work from home all day and have a very flexible schedule, your pup’s priorities will come first. Frequent bathroom breaks and walks are a must. I live in an apartment so walks and bathroom breaks will be leashed and will take place at the park down the road. I have a very minimal living space with limited hazards/dangerous situations for your pup.

About: I’ve had a soft spot for animals my whole life. I have a dog named Finley. He's a 7 year old mini Australian Labradoodle and I couldn't love him more. I have also petsat for dogs, cats, and small mammals in other people's homes. My first job was at a dog kennel, so I'm knowledgeable, and comfortable, with all breeds. I worked at the dog kennel for a year where I gained valuable experience that will help me take care of your dog. I am comfortable with feeding, administering medication, and light grooming. I can’t wait to meet you! I am a graduate student at UW Madison studying computer science. I am taking one asynchronous course over this summer, leaving me with lots of extra time that I can spend with your pet! My flexible and open schedule means that I can provide your pet with care, companionship, and enrichment activities on their schedule! I’m incredibly active and always finding new places to explore outside - a dog’s dream! As a dedicated pet caregiver, my foremost priority is to ensure the well-being and happiness of your beloved furry companions while you're away. Upon arrival at your home, I would first greet your pets warmly, allowing them to become familiar with me and establishing a bond based on trust and affection. Following any specific instructions you've provided, I would meticulously adhere to their feeding schedule, providing them with nutritious meals and ensuring they have access to fresh water at all times. Whether it's measured portions of kibble, special dietary requirements, or a preference for certain treats, I'll make sure their dietary needs are met with precision and care. Daily exercise and playtime are crucial for your pets' physical health and mental stimulation. I would engage them in stimulating activities tailored to their preferences, whether it's a brisk walk around the neighborhood for your energetic dog, a game of fetch in the backyard, or interactive play sessions with toys for your playful cat. These activities not only keep them active but also foster a sense of joy and fulfillment. Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment is paramount for the well-being of your pets and the overall upkeep of your home. I would diligently clean and sanitize their living areas, including litter boxes, feeding stations, and any other designated spaces, ensuring a comfortable and sanitary environment for them to thrive in. Beyond the basics of food, exercise, and cleanliness, I understand the importance of companionship and emotional support for your pets. I'll spend quality time with them, offering cuddles, affection, and gentle reassurance to alleviate any feelings of loneliness or anxiety in your absence. Throughout my time caring for your pets, I'll keep a keen eye on their health and behavior, promptly addressing any concerns or issues that may arise. Whether it's administering medications, monitoring for signs of illness, or simply providing a comforting presence, I'll go above and beyond to ensure their safety and well-being at all times. Communication is key, and I'll keep you updated regularly with photos, videos, and messages detailing our daily adventures together. You can rest assured knowing that your cherished pets are in capable and caring hands, receiving the love, attention, and care they deserve in the comfort of their own home.

My husband and I were nervous about letting him around new people because of how much attention he requires, but Reagan did great!
