About: I am a licensed professional counselor. I have one golden, Charlie. I’ve had many dogs over the years so my experience is varied. I take Charlie on daily runs and am fit and ready to give your dog some exercise!! I currently work in Montrose Monday-Friday during the day with weekends off. I am happy to talk more specific schedule questions individually if need be 🙂 I make sure they are comfy and cozy!! I have a child and a dog, so our home is always child/dog proofed! My entire professional career has been in the animal welfare field. I've worked as a cruelty investigator in both major metropolitan as well as rural agricultural regions. I've worked on farm animal sanctuaries as well as in city shelters. I'm still very involved in animal rescue through disaster response as well as large scale animal cruelty case deployments. Currently, I work for/co-founded an organization which provides low-cost veterinary care services to underserved areas in the region. As someone who utilizes Rover heavily for pet sitting services while traveling for work, I know just how important it is to have a service like this available as well as what a trusting, reliable sitter can do for peace of mind while out of town and away from you pets. I currently work from home (when not traveling for work) which allows me to devote full days to pet care while sitting nearby in my home office. I have a large, fully fenced yard. Your dogs will be able to spend as much, or as little, time outside as they desire. I have two resident dogs who are very welcoming of all four-legged (and two-legged) visitors and will be more than happy to share all their favorite toys and most comfortable spots on the couch.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10, I have watched all sorts of dogs, from family to friends to coworkers, and neighbors even:) I’m currently working for a second job but I always make sure that my animal care come first, I try to reason with my clients if change happens. About: I've been caring for animals for my whole life, I've always had pets, and have been a walker on apps for 6+ years. I'm always willing to sit, board or walk. I volunteer with a small nonprofit that provides service dogs to disabled veterans and hope I can positively impact you and your pets. I currently volunteer, and work part-time with flexibility, so I can frequently pick-up/drop-off or check-in on your pets. My home is pet friendly with two cats. I do currently serve in the Navy reserves, so I travel to Denver once a month for a couple days, but I always know my schedule ahead of time. I have two cats who are comfortable around dogs, live in a two bedroom apartment, with close access to a grassy area and some local parks.

About: I’ve had dogs around me my entire life. As a child, my parents inevitably turned into the caregivers. As I entered adulthood, I saw just how monumental of a responsibility dogs are and what they require to feel happy, safe, secure and fulfilled. I truly believe dogs can suffer from sadness and anxiety if not properly cared for. My chocolate lab and English bulldog are my life and they both have such different needs. Dealing with a Brachycephalic dog has given me unique experience. Their sensitivities to environmental/food allergens, temperature extremes, other breeds, exercise limitations, etc. I’d like to think of our home as a safe haven for your dogs while you take that family vacation or go out of town for the weekend. My husband and I have foregone countless trips due to my inability to leave my fur babies behind. I offer my services so that you are able to be absent with peace of mind! After 16 years in the newspaper production business and most recently the mortgage industry, I decided to take a breather and do something I love that I know could directly impact others in a positive way. My husband and I have a rural property with 10 acres. Our home has an open floor plan with easy access to front and backyard playtime. Your pup will never feel isolated or lonely. We are set back 1 mile from the main road, allowing for freedom to roam and explore in peace!

About: Growing up I've always been around animals. I've always enjoyed learning about their individual personalities and cherished spending my time around them. I have gained a lot of knowledge with dogs and cats throughout the years between animal care and my own personal pets. I have experience with high energy, reactive dogs. I currently work 9am-3pm Monday through Friday but my schedule is flexible. I can provide bathroom breaks during day and more attentive care in afternoons/evenings. I am reliable and organized in everything I do and care for your pets just as I would for my own. I can provide transportation for veterinary appointments, groomers, or just go for daily walks. I am capable of caring for pets from newborns to seniors. I can administer medications, provide nail trims, livestock medical care, I can address minor wounds or mishaps and will of course contact you in the event of a bigger medical problem or contact your veterinarian. I am currently providing services to Ouray, Montrose, Delta, & Mesa County. I currently do not provide boarding but willing to house sit, drop-in multiple times, walking and exercising, or provide nanny like services for your pets. I currently do not have a boarding set up at my residence but I can provide a safe and reliable care giver for your pets and create a trusted friend for them to help minimize any separation anxiety or unnecessary stress and keep your beloved pet happy and healthy.
