About: I’ve been an animal lover all my life. I’ve been providing personal pet care for the past two years. I get along with dogs of all ages and breeds. I can keep up with any energy level your fur baby has. I currently only have my schedule on Rover filling my time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets needs and give them the playtime and/or walks they need daily. I will follow and maintain daily medication and feeding schedules of any complexity. I will follow all instructions given to ensure your furry friend gets the care they need. I just need to know what they can and can’t do and will make sure they are on their best behavior while I care for them.

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up with horses, dogs, cats and a menagerie of smaller critters such as reptiles, hamsters, mice, rats, guineapigs, chinchillas, fish & more. The majority of the past 35 years I've been raising, chickens, ducks, turkeys, quail, rabbits, goats as well as dogs, cats & other small critters. I had the pleasure of many furry companions who have enriched my life, and I was able to see many of them live very long lives. I am a certified pet sitter, holistic animal behaviorist, certified in CPR/First Aide, and I have also taken several animal herbal, training & communication classes. I have been taking care of friends & family's animals for over 40 years and now I want to extend a helping hand to those on Rover who love their furry companions as much as I love mine. I teach at various venues such as Mesa County Libraries, CMU TECH, Home School Groups & The Bookcliffs Art Center. I can be very busy and then free for weeks just depends on the scheduling. Usually, my classes are 2 to 4 hours with additional drive time and the latest evening class ends at 8pm. So, I can easily do home visits twice a day and overnights are not a problem. I will be taking care of your furry friend in your home. Each home is differnt & each furry friend is different so, I have a questionnaire I ask all of my clients to fill out. The questionnaire askes for details such as what your pets' daily activities, food requirements, meds & administration methods if applicable, likes, dislikes & any instructions to make our time safe & happy. Please add any additional information if it is not . on the questionnaire.

About: I am a licensed professional counselor. I have one golden, Charlie. I’ve had many dogs over the years so my experience is varied. I take Charlie on daily runs and am fit and ready to give your dog some exercise!! I currently work in Montrose Monday-Friday during the day with weekends off. I am happy to talk more specific schedule questions individually if need be 🙂 I make sure they are comfy and cozy!! I have a child and a dog, so our home is always child/dog proofed! “If I could give 10 stars I would ! Jacob was absolutely wonderful. I couldn't have asked for anything more. He had a tough job and we almost cancelled a family reunion we had been planning for months. Our Bernese Mountain dog tore her ACL 2 weeks before we were set to go. She had surgery one week before we left. She had to have a lot of attention. And she got the best care from Jacob. Our Bernese had to have medication 3x a day, PT exercises 2x a day and had to wear the Cone of Shame :-( .. And she had to have her surgical sight cleaned, check and medicated everyday. She had to wear a sleeve on her leg and have it adjusted just right so it wasn't too tight or too loose. Jacob also had to take care of our old finicky cat and water indoor and outdoor plants. Like I said , we couldn't have had a better person to handle all of this than Jacob. He would lay on the floor with her and give her belly rubs several times a day and hold and carry around our cat, who is very particular of who can even touch him. We highly recommend Jacob to house sit, walk your dogs, take care of your pets etc. He was GREAT !”

About: I’ve had dogs around me my entire life. As a child, my parents inevitably turned into the caregivers. As I entered adulthood, I saw just how monumental of a responsibility dogs are and what they require to feel happy, safe, secure and fulfilled. I truly believe dogs can suffer from sadness and anxiety if not properly cared for. My chocolate lab and English bulldog are my life and they both have such different needs. Dealing with a Brachycephalic dog has given me unique experience. Their sensitivities to environmental/food allergens, temperature extremes, other breeds, exercise limitations, etc. I’d like to think of our home as a safe haven for your dogs while you take that family vacation or go out of town for the weekend. My husband and I have foregone countless trips due to my inability to leave my fur babies behind. I offer my services so that you are able to be absent with peace of mind! I am currently a full time stay at home dog mom. After 16 years in the newspaper production business and most recently the mortgage industry, I decided to take a breather and do something I love that I know could directly impact others in a positive way. My husband and I have a rural property with 10 acres. Our home has an open floor plan with easy access to front and backyard playtime. Your pup will never feel isolated or lonely. We are set back 1 mile from the main road, allowing for freedom to roam and explore in peace!

About: I come from a dog loving family with lots of experience in caring for all dogs especially those with high needs/ requirements. I have also fostered many cats and have been described by friends and family as deeply compassionate. I am currently available full time for pet care needs including overnight sitting as needed. I have a very flexible schedule allowing me to be in client’s homes as frequently as needed. I am also available most weekends. As an organized person I am very attentive to closing doors, following routines, and closely monitoring animals when visiting in others’ homes. I have a background in early childcare which helps me be aware of my surroundings and what to look for to ensure the safety of those in my care.

About: I love spending time with dogs and making sure they receive the care they need. I have experience raising two dogs, volunteering at the humane society, and am great with interacting with dogs of all ages and sizes.
