“Like many others, I am an anxious dog mom and can be a bit nervous trusting new people to take care of my girl, Jagger. She’s a sensitive soul, and I’ve had a few bad experiences in the past. However, I’m so happy to say that Dan exceeded expectations with my pup! I took her to his home for a day of daycare, and she had the best time. Dan has a nice home and spacious backyard, which is great for my dog since she’s a big girl and enjoys sniffing, running around and basking in sun like a lizard. He has two dogs of his own, which was a huge bonus for her since she loves making new friends. She loved Dan from the moment they met and loved him just as much (maybe even more!) when I picked her up. Seeing how she acts around caretakers is a huge indicator for me about how comfortable she is and how well she’s being taken care of while I’m away. Dan gets 10/10 stars for this. Even when I came to pick her up, she was still running over the Dan for pets and lovins! She was happy to see me and ready to go home but not in a “please get me out of here” way that I’ve experienced before with other daycares and caretakers. What’s more, whenever I reached out to check on how things were going, Dan responded to me in a timely manner. It was also extremely comforting to know that Dan has such an extensive background in animal care/welfare. It reassured me that he knows what to do if something is wrong with my pup.
