About: Aloha! I’m Amber, a pet sitter based in Grand Junction, Colorado, with 14 years of pet care experience. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors, as well as a wide variety of breeds and sizes, ranging from Yorkies to Great Danes. I typically do a quick door hand-off at drop-off to help keep the transition calm and minimize distractions. Once your dog comes inside with me, they’re given time to explore the space at their own pace. We’ll then unpack their things and give them some time to settle in and get comfortable before introducing them to my dog. Introductions are done one-on-one, gradually, and under my close supervision. - Playtime is supervised, and separation from my own dog using a playpen or kennel is available as needed for individual enrichment, personal space, or throughout the stay if your dog is more comfortable on their own. Dogs are also separated during mealtimes based on their individual needs, feeding habits, and comfort levels. - If your dog normally sleeps or eats in a crate, please bring it with them when possible so I can maintain their usual routine. Depending on the size of their crate or setup, I may not always be able to accommodate their typical arrangement, so please let me know in advance. - At this time, I only offer pet sitting in my home and am not available for in-home sitting at other locations.

Most dogs I've spent time with are high energy dogs like Australian shepard's but I've also spent time with low energy like Saint Bernards. About: I’ve had dogs around me my entire life. As a child, my parents inevitably turned into the caregivers. As I entered adulthood, I saw just how monumental of a responsibility dogs are and what they require to feel happy, safe, secure and fulfilled. I truly believe dogs can suffer from sadness and anxiety if not properly cared for. My chocolate lab and English bulldog are my life and they both have such different needs. Dealing with a Brachycephalic dog has given me unique experience. Their sensitivities to environmental/food allergens, temperature extremes, other breeds, exercise limitations, etc. I’d like to think of our home as a safe haven for your dogs while you take that family vacation or go out of town for the weekend. My husband and I have foregone countless trips due to my inability to leave my fur babies behind. I offer my services so that you are able to be absent with peace of mind! I am currently a full time stay at home dog mom. After 16 years in the newspaper production business and most recently the mortgage industry, I decided to take a breather and do something I love that I know could directly impact others in a positive way. Pet care has always been something I did on the side but now I’m looking to do this full time. I’d much rather feed horses and walk dogs than clock into a job on the computer. I genuinely enjoy spending my time with animals. I will only offer services at the clients home. I feel that pets are more comfortable when they can stay in the place they know. I’d rather stick to their routine than disrupt it at home with my own. I always ask clients for the routine, what treats they can have, if training is needed to be worked on, walks, etc. Otherwise, we are playing with toys and hanging out the entire time.
About: I love spending time with dogs and making sure they receive the care they need. I have experience raising two dogs, volunteering at the humane society, and am great with interacting with dogs of all ages and sizes. I would love to do lots of walking / hiking if your pets enjoy that. I am very excited to become a sitter/walker on Rover as this is a great way to spend more time with dogs when their owners are away. About: I've cared for dogs of my own since I was a kid. I currently have 2 dogs of my own and care for my family's pets when they're out of town. My mom's dog had diabetes so I gave him insulin shots after every meal. My brothers dog had cancer and was taking CBD oil so I've had some experience administering that. I've cared for dogs of all ages and sizes (my mom's dog was a dachshund and her other dog, and my own dog are both St. Bernards) I'm flexible, just let me know what you need? I would like to bring my daughter with me as I am a stay at home mom, but she loves animals. Currently my services would take place at your own home or neighborhood. My house is under renovation so I can't care for other dogs in my own home. Caring for your dogs in their own homes keeps them calmer anyways!

I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and individual needs, and I tailor their care accordingly. - I currently offer boarding in my home for up to two dogs from the same household at a time, allowing me to provide each guest with plenty of individual attention and care. My goal is to provide a comfortable, home-like environment where your pets can feel safe, settled, and cared for while you’re away. - In addition to dogs, I have previous experience caring for cats, birds, reptiles, and other small animals. I’m not currently offering standalone boarding services for these pets; however, additional pets from the same household may be considered when boarding your dog. - At this time, I’m only offering boarding in my home and am not available for in-home pet sitting at other locations. I work from home, so I’ll be available throughout your pet’s stay to help maintain their normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable and secure. My home has a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time, play, and potty breaks. I also have a 20 lb male Havanese who lives in the home. - For safety and to help everyone adjust comfortably, I accept no more than two guest dogs at a time. I typically do a quick door hand-off at drop-off to help keep the transition calm and minimize distractions. Once your dog comes inside with me, they’re given time to explore the space at their own pace. We’ll then unpack their things and give them some time to settle in and get comfortable before introducing them to my dog. Introductions are done one-on-one, gradually, and under my close supervision. - Playtime is supervised, and separation from my own dog using a playpen or kennel is available as needed for individual enrichment, personal space, or throughout the stay if your dog is more comfortable on their own. Dogs are also separated during mealtimes based on their individual needs, feeding habits, and comfort levels. - If your dog normally sleeps or eats in a crate, please bring it with them when possible so I can maintain their usual routine. Depending on the size of their crate or setup, I may not always be able to accommodate their typical arrangement, so please let me know in advance. - At this time, I only offer pet sitting in my home and am not available for in-home sitting at other locations.
