On top of that, my husband has a difficult work schedule, and Dawn was incredibly flexible, which made everything so much easier. About: I've been around dogs my entire life but have owned my own dog for the past 4 years. I am constantly watching my friend's dogs while they are away and know how important it is to have someone to trust and provide a loving and caring home away from home for your pet while you are away! I currently work from home full-time, so I'll have plenty of time to walk and play with your pup! I have a highly energetic dog, so we take several walks during the day and then I take her to nearby parks with trails after work. I'm available for boarding during the week and on weekends. I have a medium sized fenced in yard and a very sweet dog to keep your fir baby company! My dog has free reign of the house and is allowed on the furniture and sleeps in my bed but can also crate your dog if needed.

Whether it be grooming, doggy daycare, or in the veterinary field, I have done it! I have been pet sitting for the same amount of time. Working with animals is my passion, and I will treat your babies as if they were my own! I also love to take pictures of your pets so if you want picture updates I am happy to oblige! Because of my work experience I am comfortable caring for pets with strict or specific routines, such as medication or feeding schedules. I am familiar with animal behavior and know how to approach your pet. I also know what to look for in case of an emergency. Your pet is my top priority. I work an 8-5 Monday - Friday office job, almost entirely remote. Weekends, I am totally free so I am very flexible to your needs. I am experienced working with pets from the previous positions I have held. For example, I am familiar with dog behavior from working in doggie daycare. I know how to react in emergency situations from working reception in an emergency animal hospital. But most importantly, I will treat your animals as if they were my own.

About: Pet sitting has always been super rewarding for me, i grew up on a farm so it is in my nature to connect with them:) I am currently on summer break so my schedule is pretty flexible! just shoot me a message and we can figure out which dates work:) When i am pet-sitting i prefer to be provided with a list of your animals routine, what time do they go out? feeding times? their favorite toys and places to walk etc! I am a student so my preference is sitting at the clients homes, or sitting them at my home. i love thorough communication with my clients and prefer to know what i am welcome to in the home, where to go etc. (I will always respect client boundaries!)

About: Although always a pet owner and lover, we have opened our home to foster pets over the last five years. We have had small litters of puppies, kittens, have helped train and socialize and can offer quiet space for shy animals to decompress. We are an active family and would ensure dogs are getting lots of outdoor time in a safe and loving environment. I have the benefit of working from home so I am always available. I have flexibility to take breaks if attention is needed, and have also had experience with plenty of middle of the night wake-ups for puppies not quite ready to make it through the night. Whether in my home or yours, I will always ensure to stick to the pet’s routine and comfort level so that their stress levels are low and their needs are met.

“Mandy was truly a life saver when my husband and I were both I'll with the flu and the poor dog needed excersize. Mandy came to the house and picked up the dog and brought him to a dog park to run around. A couple of days later m husband dropped him off at Mandy's house to play with her dog. I am so, so grateful for Mandy and her compassion and flexibility and going the extra mile. I will definitely be using her services again, under less dire circumstances. Thank you Mandy!”
