“Taryn is wonderful. We will definitely hire her again. She’s very pleasant and great with our pets. They warmed to her immediately. She’s a problem solver (we had a minor plumbing issue which she solved on her own but contacted us). She stays in touch just enough so we know all is well but not so much that we can’t enjoy our time away. She went above and beyond. Excellent pet and house sitter!”

“Lulu is awesome with our kitties. She always goes above and beyond to ensure they are happy and adjusting well while we are gone. She updates us regularly which helps to ease our minds too. She is the best!!”

“This was our first time leaving our pup that has health issues. Our minds were at ease knowing Erin was there giving her all the attention she needed and then some! Loved the consistent check ins and photos and how well the house was cared for overall!”

“Gave updates, took very good care of my dogs. Even when i was sick & unresponsive for a few days, she still gave updates and kept me in the know. I appreciate all the help & care she gave my boys! Super happy.”

“The dogs I know were well taken care of - I got updates twice a day. A friend disengaged the garage door for the mechanism and Ben fixed it for me!!! While he didn’t have to take care of my cat he cleaned out the litter box before I came home. When Neville met Ben , Neville is not a jumper at all, but he immediately climbed in Ben’s lap to be loved on by him. And Ben was awesome and let him! I highly recommend him and will use his services in the future!!”

“I always feel a sense of relief when Caitlin is looking after Luna! She takes such good care of her and shares daily photos. Plus, she consistently leaves the house neat and organized! So happy to have found Caitlin!”

“Robyn was wonderful. She was so kind and caring and took great care of our sweet Gidget. It happened to snow when we were gone and she brought in my plants, collected my packages that arrived, and was a great communicator. We really appreciated all of the photos and videos. She sent us when we were away from our sweet little Gidget We will definitely use Robyn again without any reservation what so ever! Robyn is a smart choice when selecting a pet/house sitter.”

“Kadyn did a wonderful job watching our two kitties and left our apartment better than she found it. She was an excellent communicator and followed all our instructions exactly. Most importantly, our cats both seemed happy and healthy all in the pictures she sent!”

“Russ exceeded every expectation. Constant communication, pictures, and play with our three animals. I would trust and hire him any time to watch our animals, stay at our house, and help out with anything we needed. 15/10, if that were possible. He stayed at our house and cared for our 4 month old puppy, our 5 year old terrier, and our 3 year old cat.”

“Bree was awesome! She sent pictures of Abbey while we were away. Came home to a well taken care of home! I would highly recommend Bree! It was our first time leaving our pet and home to someone! But loved it! Abbey was happy and our home was taken care of. Bree was so respectful of our home!”

“Abby is the best!!! If there is a Rover hall of fame, Abby should be voted in on the first ballot. Our animals love her and she takes great care of them. Left the house in immaculate conduction and even watered our flowers for us. Our return flight was delayed and Abby just rolled with the changes. If you have any apprehension about hiring a Rover sitter, select Abby. You will also provide a 5-star rating. Thank you Abby!”

“Ellie did an amazing job looking after our pup and house while we were away. She sent pictures or videos each day of things Willy was doing and places they were walking. When we arrived back home, everything was clean and tidy in our house. Looking forward to having Ellie here again!”

“Emma dropped by a week before watching Spotz to meet him. She was responsive to our messages before we left town and provided regular updates (with pictures)! Spotz is anxious and we just moved to town a couple weeks ago, so I was nervous to leave town, but Emma made it easier. I appreciated the daily updates she provided and quality time she spent with Spotz while we were away!”

About: I am a third year veterinary student in KC for the summer at an internship! I have worked as a Veterinary Assistant for 6 years now and have gained experience in handling and working with all breeds and sizes of dogs, as well as cats. I have also been petsitting for family friends for 5 years and have plenty of experience making pets feels comfortable while their owner is away. I am comfortable handling any dog or cat, with anything from giving medications to your senior pup to walks and exercise for the more energetic ones! I’m currently working full-time during the week with some evening hours available. I am also typically available all day during the weekend and on most holidays. As I am currently renting, I am not able to care for pets in my own home. However, I am more than willing to travel and take care of your fur-baby in the comfort of their own home! I have been trained on how to handle all types of animals with care and respect towards them, and would feel comfortable assisting with any training you are working with them on. Most of all, I absolutely love to hang out with any animal and would be honored to care for your fur baby!

About: I grew up with a dog since the age of 9. We had a mut, boarder collie, and a pit bull. And I baby sat a friends akita this past year for a few months. I love animals, I just can't afford one of my own right now. But I would love to help you out and hang out with your dog. I'm available to walk your pet early in the morning or after 5pm. I have a full time job but have the ability to work remote, so I'm avalable for boarding throughout the week. I can take your pet for a walk and as many as needed. I usually go on a jog afterwork and would love to bring them along. Or can walk them afterwards if they prefer a mor leisurely pace. I also like to do a lite exercise in the morning so a brisk walk in the AM would be great. If im boarding your pet at my place, I live in a one bedroom apartment which they are free to roam as of they are potty trained. I also have a balcony that they are welcome to sunbath on.

“Ellis was great! She took care of my babies like they were her own, even when Groot wouldn’t let her sleep. She updated me along the way and communicated with me throughout the day. This was my first time ever having someone spend the night with the dogs and she did amazing. Would book with her again !”

“Shyanne stayed in our home with our dogs while we were out of town. She was incredible to work with. She gave us plenty of updates, communicated clearly, took great care of our babies and went above and beyond! We felt peace of mind our entire trip knowing Shyanne was there with our dogs. We came home to a very happy crew. We will definitely book with her again in the future!”

About: I am new to the app so I don’t have many reviews yet. But rest assured, I have lots of experience with house sitting and dog care. I would love to help you with other duties, including taking in mail, watering plants, keeping the place clean and tidy, etc. I have been the go-to-girl to dog sit and dog walk for all my friends, family, and neighbors since high school. I absolutely love to get to hangout with dogs and get my steps in! It would be a privilege to care for your precious pups! I am a doctor of physical therapy student at the KU Med Center. I have a 10 year old pug of my own named Beatrix, she is precious! I am never away from Bea for more than 5 hours at a time…but it usually is not that long. I am a homebody! And I dont mind at all to structure my schedule around caring for her, play and potty breaks, and three 30min walks/day. During the 2 days/week that I am in class from 8-5, I run home during lunch to take her out. I would do the same with your dogs as well! I have a flexible schedule that can allow me to work around your pups usual routine. I am able to take your dog out in your backyard or on a walk for potty breaks as often as needed. If I am house sitting for you, I would need to bring my 10 year old pug Beatrix to stay as well. She is easygoing and gets along great with other dogs. When I need dog care, I use Rover too! So Bea has spent a lot of time with new dogs in new homes. As a dog owner and Rover user myself, I understand how important it is to feel confident that your dog is safe, well cared for, and happy while in the care of someone new.

“Oh my goodness, do my dog and I love Kennedy! I have a pug named Eloise who has been in desperate need of more exercise. Eloise has always been a reluctant walker, but as soon as she met Kennedy she enthusiastically anticipates her walks! In fact, when she hears Kennedy come to the door, she fetches her own leash! Kennedy is so friendly and 100% reliable. Kennedy is the BEST!”
