About: I have raised dogs and cats through out my life, I currently have a rescue Shih Tzu named Gizmo who is nine years old and is great with other dogs. I worked at an animal shelter for a few years and also at a dog training and boarding kennel so I have experience with all breeds and temperaments as well as years of professional dog walking and pet sitting. I’m getting ready to go to school for dog grooming to add to my pet care skills and would love to take care of your pets to help make money for school! I will give your fur babies the love, care and attention they deserve. I also have experience administering medications including pills and insulin shots. I work short days outside my home starting early in the morning, but my partner works from home so your dog wouldn’t be left alone if you board with me! I’m available for in home visits or walks as well. We have a rescue Shih Tzu who is 9 years old and loves the company of other dogs, she’s not big on playing but she’s all about the snuggles and naps. I cater my care to each individual dog and am happy to discuss your pets needs. If you board with me your dog will get frequent walks and as much exercise as you request, we live in an apartment so I would be taking them out on a leash to walk around the neighborhood; we also have a fenced area specifically for letting dogs run around and play if that’s what you prefer. I am happy to crate them if you’d like or let them sleep in one of my dogs many beds, she sleeps in bed with us so she won’t mind! If I’m coming to your house I can follow any instructions you have for walking/ feeding/ administering medication I’ve done many walks and home visits for pet owners over the years, and my experience in animal shelters and dog training facilities had given me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and needs.

As a college student and athlete, I’m dependable, responsible, and active, so your pets will get plenty of attention, exercise, and care. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or keeping them company, I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away. I’m a full-time college student with a mix of online and in-person classes, which gives me flexibility throughout the week. I also play collegiate soccer, but I plan my schedule carefully and update my availability regularly. I’m available for pet sitting, drop-in visits, and walks during my free time, as well as many evenings and weekends. I’ll always communicate clearly to make sure your pet gets the care and attention they deserve. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I will follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, medication instructions, and any special requests to help them feel comfortable. I’ll provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and updates with photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always keep their well-being first.

About: My pet-sitting journey began in college when a coworker asked me to care for her cat while she was away on vacation. Having grown up with pets, I was comfortable taking on the responsibility. During college, I gained experience caring for animals through both volunteering and my photojournalism work. I volunteered on weekends at Cat Town in Oakland, helping care for cats who were often overlooked or considered difficult to adopt. I also created a photo story about Muttville in San Fransisco, a rescue dedicated to finding homes for senior dogs. Spending time with these animals taught me that every pet has different needs and that patience, attention and individual care can make a big difference. After college, I adopted a cat of my own. Since then, I’ve continued pet sitting for friends and coworkers, caring for both cats and dogs through house sitting. I enjoy getting to know the pets I care for and making sure they feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual personality, routine and needs and I’m happy to give them plenty of companionship, playtime and affection. As a full-time photographer with weekends free, I'm eager to share my extra time with a furry friend. I am ready to capture some moments together! I’m affectionate and attentive with my own cat, and she’s incredibly comfortable with me. She loves being held and cuddled, and I’m used to paying attention to her cues and making sure she feels safe and comfortable.
