We asked on short notice for her to work out a drop-in schedule for our 2 cats while we would be away for 8 days and she promptly set up a meet & greet and fit us into her schedule for the time we requested. Caitlin is highly communicative, fast to respond and followed all of our asks and instructions. We could immediately see she loves animals and treated ours like her own. She provided detailed updates after visits, shared fantastic pictures everyday, and brought extra toys for our cats (which she left for them!). What we appreciated most is she also takes initiative unasked - she brought lick mats for the kitties after I mentioned offhand that sometimes they vomit after eating too fast; took out our trash because "no one likes coming home to a full trash can;" and tied up the litter bag and disposed of it when it got full. Will certainly be booking her again and would very highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been dog sitting and dog walking since I was 14 so I have a good understanding of what different people need for their specific animal and I’ll strive to provide the best care for your animals as if they are my own! I can work weekdays anywhere from 6am-6pm, and weekends depending on my winery job. I’m currently in a graphic design internship which is very flexible so I have great availability. I follow the pet’s regular routine as closely as possible feeding, walking, playtime, and any medications if needed. I make sure their space stays clean and they get plenty of attention and comfort while their owner is away.

About: I have been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up my family has always had a least 2 pets, even having 15 at one point. My love for animals has run deep in me since I was a child, which is why I am currently a pre veterinary student at the College of William and Mary. I have experience training puppies including potty training, assisting senior pets, and providing a full and fun life for all animals. I have previously worked at multiple equestrian training facilities and farms, so I understand how to handle larger animals. I am versed in problem solving and strive to make all pets feel safe and happy. I am currently home from college for the summer, so I will have plenty of time to care for your wonderful pets. This will be the main job I am working this summer, so there are few scheduling conflicts. I understand every pet and home is different so I try to cater the care to each client, however there are a few things that will always stay the same. First I always ensure I understand the pets feeding and bathroom schedule. This is vital to ensure the happiness and health of all pets. Second I try to make your pet as comfortable with me as possible. Sometimes new people can be scary, so I would allow your pet to make the first move and establish their level of comfort. I find this creates a level of trust and care between me and your pet. Third I follow any specific instructions given by you, the owner. The families always know their pets best, so following their directions helps ensure your pets safety and comfort.
