“Natalie was awesome! She dropped by to let my dogs out for the evening. Afterward they played a bit and then she settled them into bed. They were happy to see her. I appreciated the photos she text me. We will definitely look her up again when we return to Breck! Thank you, Natalie!”

“Elizabeth was amazing. Great communication, responsive, playful with my pooches. Her visit allowed me to relax and enjoy myself knowing my buddies were well cared for. A thousand thank you’d.”

About: I have had dogs growing up my whole life and currently have two toy poodles. They would be loved and cared for as my own! We are currently work from home so they have plenty of attention throughout the day. We have a fenced in backyard for some running space. If they are familiar with a doggy door we have one going in and out of the backyard. They will be treated as if they are our own. We love our dogs very much and treat them as our family members. They get love, care, and cuddles throughout the day. I currently have a fairly flexible schedule and will try to accommodate your needs. I’m happy to chat about a schedule that works for both of us! I’ll treat your pet like my own. I take my dogs on near daily walks. I love walking around neighborhoods or playing fetch. I’ll accommodate to the needs of your pet.
“Sarah was a great friend to our three dogs for the week of our vacation in Breckenridge. She took excellent care of them each day and went above and beyond in being flexible with our schedule. She also provided real time communication and detailed and entertaining reports that gave us peace of mind while we were away each day. She is kind, responsive, and reliable, and was willing to do a meet and greet ahead of time. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you, Sarah!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 8 years old and grew up around a wide variety of pets. I’m a genuine animal lover and understand that every dog has a different personality, energy level, and comfort needs. I currently have an 8 YO chocolate lab who has never met a dog (or person) he doesn’t like. Because of that, I’m very experienced with socialization, active dogs, and reading canine behavior. I’m also certified in Cat & Dog First Aid through the American Red Cross, so your pet’s safety and wellbeing are always a top priority. Whether your pup loves adventures and hikes or prefers a calm and relaxing environment, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. I work for a local public safety agency, which gives me 4 consecutive days off every week and a very flexible schedule. On my days off, I spend a lot of time outdoors and typically take dogs on hikes, walks, and adventures around Summit County. Because of my schedule, I’m able to provide plenty of attention, exercise, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day instead of leaving pets alone for long periods of time. I live in a single family residence with a private yard, giving your pup space to relax, play, and decompress if needed. I can also provide crate accommodations for dogs who are crate trained or more comfortable with their own space. I always prioritize safety, supervision, and a calm environment. I take time to learn each dog’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel comfortable and secure while in my care.
“Jodie is a cat whisperer!!! One of my kitties hides for all visitors and she was out and about with Jodie. She did a great job with updates and photos too! Will definitely be my new go-to sitter.”

“Steven was prompt, sent multiple pictures and info and the dogs obviously had a good time! Ive used Rover multiple times and feel very happy and safe with the people on it.”

About: I've had dogs all of my life, and currently my family has three. I have watched family friends dogs while they have been on vacation. I had a cat growing up and have some experience with them as well. I will begin full time work on the 13th of June, then my schedule will change week to week depending on my hours! Thursday-Sunday works best! I walk my dog daily, feed her, play with her, and interact with her throughout my day. I also bathe her when needed and have participated in doing these tasks for my dogs growing up.
About: I have always loved dogs! I have an 11 year old family labradoodle back in Minnesota and I also helped take care of my roommate's border collie while I was in college. Additionally, in high school, I volunteered at the Animal Humane Society as a dog walker and I also worked at the Petsmart PetsHotel, where I spent my entire days entertaining dogs. During my time in Colorado, I've been working with dogs at Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue and Dumb Friends League as well as dog sitting/walking regularly. I graduated from the University of Denver in 2019 and I'm currently living in Breckenridge as a ski instructor and working at a sushi restaurant. I can't have my own dog in my house (landlord rules), so I would love to hang out with your dog! During the summer I just work at a restaurant in the evening. I work Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 4:30-9ish. Other then that I’ll be around all day! I will make sure your fur baby's safety is my top priority. This means always using a leash unless your yard is fenced in or the dog has great recall. It's important to me to know if your dog is on medication and when/how to administer it as well as knowing what food and treats are okay for your pet to have.

About: I was a foster parent for the Larimer Humane Society for years, have been around animals since I was a child. I love hanging out with pets of all shapes and sizes. Cant wait to walk and talk to pets. Walk outside first thing in the morning, breath of fresh air for the pet and myself, snacks & treats inside, play time, nap time, treat time, walk time, food, snacks, walks, play. All at the animal's preference and best needed. I have a long leash and close eye on pets. Able to put pets into a kennel or remove any negative impacts quickly. The pet's needs are first and foremost important.
“Shelby was absolutely amazing with our pups. They had so much fun with her and she gave them the break that they much-needed. They will definitely want to see Auntie Shelby again!”

About: I have grown up with big dogs my entire life and absolutely love them. I am super energetic myself so me and dogs get along great. I miss my dogs while at college and want to spend time with furry friends again. I just graduated college and have lots of free time to take dogs on walks and hangout with them all the time. I am very flexible and make time to exercise daily. I take great care of dogs and love them and make sure they are well fed and taken care of. Boulder is great with all the outdoor accessibility and dog friendly places.
About: I've had animals my entire life and can't imagine it any other way. I have a cat and a paralyzed black lab. Just last year I lost my 13.5 year old lab so I have extensive experience with elderly pups. I am very active and if walking or hiking is what your pup loves to do, that is what we will do! If they prefer couch time with belly rubs, I'm happy to oblige! I'm currently in between full time jobs. I am looking for some part time work! My schedule is flexible throughout the week in the morning/daytime/evening. Your pet will be cared for in the way you would prefer. If they need to be blocked off from certain rooms or crated while alone, walked a certain way, harness/no harness etc. those asks will be honored.

Breckenridge pet parents share their Rover experiences
Patty was great! Would definitely recommend! She stopped by to meet our doggos the day before and was very affectionately welcomed by our puppers. They were excited to see her the next day and appeared to have fun with Patty during the drop in. Patty provided us with numerous pictures and a report. Communication was good and responsive. We will definitely keep her on our short list for future needs!

Derek was quick to respond, thorough with following the care instructions, and communicative about updates. It’s obvious he’s very experienced with dogs of multiple breeds- my pitbull isn’t the most easygoing dog to take care of but he was excellent with her, even taking her out for an extra potty break after seeing she drank a lot of water and offering extra check-ins as well as leaving the TV on for our other dog to ease her anxiety. Would highly recommend!!
