Although I've had cats for about 8 years, I also love dogs and grew up with several. I work in a dog-friendly office and co-workers have often referred to me as the dog whisperer because their dogs all seem to like me as well! Cats typically warm up to me quickly too. As much as I like hiking and playing fetch with dogs, a lazy afternoon of kitty cuddles is just as good. I grew up with a pug who had eye/ear problems and frequently needed droplets, and my cat once had an ear infection and UTI so I am familiar with several types of ailments of our furry friends and have some experience administering medicine. Former roommates, neighbors, and relatives have relied on me to care for their dogs and cats. I look forward to meeting more pets and making new friends! Fun fact: Years ago, I taught our 9 year old family dog how to shake. It turns out you can teach an old dog new tricks! I love going for hikes on weekends and I can't think of anywhere else that's better than Summit County. I often wish I had a dog companion to join me! My cats unfortunately aren't big fans of being on a leash (and I've tried). My cats are my kids. I understand the stress that comes with entrusting a stranger with your precious pets and home, I've been there too. I take my commitments very seriously and gaining your trust is always extremely important.
