About: I’ve always had a genuine love for animals and enjoy giving pets the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. I’m responsible, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s individual personality and routine. I understand that every pet is different, so I’m happy to follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, walks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet wants to play, go for a walk, cuddle on the couch, or simply have some company, I’m happy to be there for them! I am currently working full time, Monday-Friday. My hours are 7am-3:30pm. I always check on animals before work and when I get off work. My weekends are open if needed, I typically check on animals twice to three times on my off days. I will always look after animals in their own home. This makes them more comfortable, and they won’t be scared of my animals or their surroundings. I am always willing to come by before your scheduled service and get them used to me so it’s not so shocking for them.

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life. Currently have a dog and two cats that I love to bits. I always find time to be out playing with my dog and keeping cats company when it comes to the night hours. I’m currently not working but I do have the transportation to get around for check ins on pets. I have free time on my hands at the moment so my schedule is really open to going in the morning, going in the afternoon, and going in the evening times before bedtime. I do not offer boarding in my own home, so being in the client's home I would be sure to introduce myself to the dogs, be outside while dogs are playing, and always attentive as to where an animal is within the house or backyard.

About: I’ve dealt with all types of animals - shy, aggressive, specific needs, and the ones who need extra attention. My family dog and previous pup needed oral medication, shots, and had specific diets. I’m home on weekends for the foreseeable future and will always welcome extra fur babies to my place. Live on acre+ of land and have accessible trails within walking distance as well. Have pool and extra room if your doggo needs their own space while I’m away. Willing to do pop ins for those who work longer hours, welcome fur babies to my house, or give walks during the day. My night schedule allows me plenty of flexibility and always looking for ways to fill my schedule. My dogs love extra roommates. I work nights starting at midnight and usually off by 8:30-9am. I’m off Friday Saturday and go in Sunday night. I don’t go out and love daily walks with my doggos. I have a fenced 1.5acre fenced backyard with access to trails within walking distance. While away I leave my dogs out and they have access to my bed, couch, and spare rooms. If more comfortable can keep them in spare room or kenneled depending on your preference.

“Laura was incredible working with our VERY VERY shy pup that didn’t want to go outside to potty. She was so patient with our floof and kept us updated every step of the way. So thankful for her service, as our dog stresses so much at traditional boarding. The next time we travel we will certainly be inquiring with Laura, her and pup are basically BFFs at this point 😋🍖”

About: I dog sit in the Southwest Fort Worth area with my dog Otis, small mix, that needs playmates. My dog has never been aggressive towards anyone or any other dogs, he's just to friendly. My backyard is very safe and secure, has a double fence all around with a huge tree that provides shade all day long. Also, a large covered patio with plenty of space to run and play. Inside, I have a large tiled area that provides a safe, comfortable place for them to rest. Please reach out to me anytime and give Otis and I a chance to welcome your loved ones into our home. Don't forget to ask me for my promo code for first time Rover users, a $20 discount before booking. I’m currently working from home, so I’m happy to care for your four legged friends all 7 days a week and more, if need be. I’m home all day so therefore I can provide as many potty breaks as necessary. I can feed everyone separately usually twice a day, treats during the day as well. I always send a text with pics and info as to how the first 24 hrs went.

About: I went to college to be a Vet and although I ended up in sales I definitely learned the basics on how to take care of your pet. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and energy levels, from energetic puppies who need structure and training reinforcement to senior dogs who require a little extra patience and care. My background as a vet student also means you can trust me to be consistent, communicative, and professional. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine! 🐾 I’m pivoting from sales into marketing and, while job-hunting, I love spending my time caring for dogs. With a flexible schedule, I can give your pup all the walks, playtime, and snuggles they need. 💕 follow your pet’s routine to keep them happy and stress-free—feeding, walks, playtime, and snuggles included. 🐾 I’ll also keep things tidy and send photo updates so you always know how your pup is doing. 💕

Loving and caring for animals is truly what I was made to do which is why I love doing this on my spare time! My schedule is very open, I do work during the day but all my spare time is spent with your pups and giving them all the attention and love they deserve! I’m very flexible with whatever schedules or needs you expect for your pets! For me personally my dogs eat specific additives in their food, sleep in bed with me, and get constant outside time! I know some people are very simple with their dogs routine and others are more complex! I’m here for it either way! I’m as flexible as you need me to be, because the care for your pets is nothing to mess around about!

About: I feel living on a farm, I can offer a dog plenty of exercise and play. I have owned dogs most of my life. I don't have any dogs as of now, so I feel this would be a great time to become a sitter/walker. I try and walk at least 3 miles a day myself, so I would also be able to walk the dog on a leash if that is needed. I am a reliable and compassionate person and love all animals, I own horses as well. I will play with the dogs outside as long as weather permits. I will have fresh water for them and a clean place to lay down. Please consider me when looking for a reliable dog sitter. I am retired, I have a ranch with my own animals, and I think pet sitting would be amazing to get me out of my house. I take care of client's animals in their homes. I will walk, feed, give supplements. I can also stay in the home if needed. It is up to the client's needs.

Daniella was an absolutely amazing pet sitter! She checked in on my 2 cats 2x a day for 7 days. Every visit included a text update and 10-14 photos of my babies. I really appreciated the communication, as this was the first time I had left them alone for such a long period of time. Daniella ensured all requests for the pets were done, she communicated clearly/often, and I came home to happy babies and a tidy home. She even helped get my mail from the mail box. Absolutely amazing person and great at what she does. I will be booking again in the future. Thank you again!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost of Pet Sitting in Brazos Bend is $22 per visit as of November 2026. Most bookings cost between $16 and $35 per visit. On Rover, sitters set their own rates based on factors such as their experience, the length of care, the number of pets, and your pet’s specific needs. As long as your booking dates and pet profiles are accurate, the price shown before you confirm is the total, including any booking fee.

As of November 2026, there are 1,048 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across Brazos Bend. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.

Before booking, confirm:

  • the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
  • the care instructions the sitter should follow;
  • which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
  • how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.

Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Brazos Bend. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
