“Jennifer Will care for your puppy or dog as if it were her own. She’s very knowledgeable and reachable. When I picked up my golden retriever puppy she was so exhausted that she slept for almost 20 hours straight. I will definitely be using her services again. Five stars, if you’re in West Fort Worth it is a gym she is who you need to contact!”

“Stephanie was so sweet and genuine! We had to find a day care sitter last minute and she was very reliable and trust worthy.Hammond loved staying with her. Her kiddos and dogs seemed to love him as well. We are so grateful for someone like Stephanie to take wonderful care of our fur baby. Thank you!”

“Pat and Claudette were wonderful with our little Cannelle Claudette is real professional who has been taking care of dogs for many years. She doesn’t take on more than three dogs so that she can give them her full attention. I would definitely recommend them to take care of your pets.”

About: Growing up, my wife has taken care of many dogs both at home and professionally at vet offices. In 2019, She opened up an at home boarding services where we had experience with a wide variety of breeds and ages. We cared for a lot of older senior dogs as well as blind and hearing impaired canines. I am almost always available. Pet care just about naturally fits into my core daily routine. I'm an early riser and always have been, my cat rarely lets me sleep in. I have a large fenced yard and a shaded porch with a fan in the backyard. I am willing to allow trained and non-aggressive dogs stay in my home, if that's what the dog or the client might like or prefer. Your dogs will be free to roam but supervised. Free walks no matter the length of stay, just bring a leash and collar your dogs love.

“Chyler was amazing! Super accommodating and was able to get my lil guy in last minute (the day before Thanksgiving). I wasn’t able to pick up until later than expected, and she was very understanding. Would definitely book again in the future!”

“Rochelle was absolutely amazing! She was willing to take Ivy in even though Ivy is completely blind and we requested our stay less than 24 hours in advance. She sent pictures and videos and I did not have to worry about Ivy being in her care. She has the perfect puppy palace set up in her home and Ivy absolutely loved it. Rochelle makes me wish I lived in the area so Ivy could hang out with her while I work, but unfortunately we were just passing through. If I ever find myself in the area again we will definitely be paying Rochelle a visit! I would recommend Rochelle to everyone!”

“Thank you so much for watching our Lucy girl! We know she had the best time! We appreciate all the photo updates throughout the day as well!! She can’t wait to come visit again!”

“Norman seemed very content when I picked him up, no issues, he was in good spirits, this is a reflection that he was a good match for Cecilia and her family. We went home and had a yogurt cream cone, his favorite treat.”

Whether it’s mornings or evenings we will find a schedule that works best for you and your dogs needs. I have an acre of fenced yard where your dogs can run around supervised and play with plenty of toys. “I am over the moon so happy with how Shannon took care of our Bailee today. She sent me adorable pictures and let me know what Bailee was doing through the day. I felt so secure knowing Shannon was taking care of my new pup.”

About: I have grown up always having pets in the house. We had a dog and multiple cats in our home! I have been around pups of all sizes and I love them all dearly. I rescued my pup about 8 months ago and he is turning 1 soon🥲 He has definitely taught me a lot about patience and training when it comes to dogs! I also visit my local animal shelter frequently to volunteer/ take some of the dogs out for a morning walk. I am currently working part time, so I will have plenty of time for walks + visits for potty breaks! My current living situation does not allow for me to board pets in my home. I have a high energy pup of my own, so I feel like I have learned how to properly handle most any situation a dog could throw at me! I frequently walk & play with other dogs at the local shelter as well.
“I visited Prescott and was happy to find Barbara. She took excellent care of my pup and he was in a great mood when I returned to pick him up. Would recommend 100% and will have her watch my dog on any future trips. Thanks Barbara!”

“My dogs LOVED their stay at Beverly's. She is a very sweet woman who obviously loves animals. My husband and I loved having a safe place for our pets to go and will definitely be calling her again soon.”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
