About: I'm the go to girl for washing up our puppers, and even climbing in the tub just to set them at ease. I go the extra mile to make sure animals are comfortable and happy. I currently have all the freedom to play with your pup, walk them, and care for their needs. So please fill my calendar with puppy play dates! I would like to fully understand the routine the client has for their pet prior to make sure it does not get disrupted and allows the pup to stay at ease.
“Jacey was a great sitter and did amazing with my blue heeler who takes a while to get used to strangers and she handled him perfectly! Will def book again and would recommend.”

“Carley is awesome! I would definitely have her take care of my 2 dogs again! She is reliable, professional, friendly, thoughtful and resilient. Highly recommend!”

“We were so comfortable to go away on an 8-day vacation after meeting with Kyla. She was able to come over each day and give our cat some company, feeding/water, and most importantly give him the 3 pills for a heart condition. We received updates while away and Kyla was responsive to us when setting up the booking and while we were away.”

“Heather is a wonderful sitter! I have an anxious dog, and I was nervous about allowing an unfamiliar person to care for her while I was on vacation. I purposely chose Heather due to her experience with anxious dogs, and I am so glad that I did! Heather scheduled a meet and greet prior to caring for her so my dog could become acclimated to her. Due to Heather's calming presence and careful efforts, Tootsie was very calm upon meeting Heather. While I was away, Heather provided thorough information about my dog, which was extremely reassuring. I felt confident that Tootsie was being cared for by someone who I trust. Heather went above and beyond to make Tootsie as comfortable as possible. I will definitely reach out to Heather again should I need someone to care for her.”

“Haley accommodated Sally very last minute and was an absolute life saver! She gave her quality exercise and provided me with tons of photos and videos as usual. Super reliable and as always will definitely use her again :)”

“Kayla was great with my two young cats. I usually feel a bit anxious when it comes to leaving them with a sitter, but Kayla’s updates, photos, and obvious love for animals really put my mind at ease. We look forward to booking her again in the future!”

About: Hi, I’m Marilyn! I have been caring for animals since I was 12 years old, starting with my neighbors' cats and expanding to dogs as I gained experience. Today, I balance my love for animals with my path as a part-time nursing student. My medical background makes me exceptionally detail-oriented, highly observant, and incredibly reliable when it comes to following strict care plans. Medication & Special Care Experience With my nursing training and years of pet ownership, I am very comfortable managing special health needs. I am experienced in administering: Oral Medications (I’m a pro at using pill pockets, cheese, or whatever trick your pet prefers!) Topical Treatments Ear Drops Meet My Pack: We are a pet-loving household! When you book with me, your pet will be sharing space with my sweet fur-family. My French Bulldog: He is an 8-year-old Frenchie who is incredibly laid-back and absolutely wonderful with kids and other animals. My Two Cats: Nemo and Milo. They are energetic, sweet kittens (born in October and November 2025) who are well-adjusted to a busy, animal-friendly home. Home Environment & Boarding Accommodations I want your pet to feel as safe and comfortable as they do in their own home. My house is fully equipped for secure, happy stays: Fenced-In Yard: Perfect for safe, supervised playtime and quick potty breaks. Finished Basement with Baby Gates: I have a spacious, finished basement that is perfect for giving pets their own dedicated zone. If your pet isn't fully comfortable around cats, I can easily keep them separated using baby gates. Crate-Friendly: If your dog prefers to sleep in a crate or is crated for safety when unsupervised, I am happy to utilize a crate according to your exact preferences. Whether your pet needs active playtime in the yard, quiet companionship while I study, or precise medication schedules, I am here to treat them like a member of my own family. I can't wait to meet your pup or kitty! As a stay-at-home mom and part-time nursing student, nurturing and safety are second nature to me. My nursing classes only take up 2 days of my week, leaving me with wide-open availability to care for your pet the rest of the time. Because I am home so much, I can cater to all of their needs—from high-energy play sessions to specialized care routines. You can enjoy your time away with peace of mind, knowing your pet is in attentive, loving hands! My goal is to provide a "home away from home" that mirrors the safety and structure they have at your house. Home & Environment: Secure Yard: Large, fenced-in area for supervised outdoor time. Hydration: Constant access to filtered, fresh water. Socialization: My two young sons, our friendly 8-year-old Frenchie, and two cats make for a social environment, but we can easily accommodate dogs who need their own space. Crate Ready: I can utilize your pup’s crate for sleeping or breaks to maintain their existing training and comfort. My Promise: I am highly detail-oriented and will follow your specific instructions regarding feeding, exercise, and behavior to the letter. Your pet’s safety and your trust are my primary concerns.

“Cheryl took great care of my two cats while I was on a two week vacation. She handled food, water, treats, litter, and play just right. From the meet and greet, I could tell she has a sweet and gentle touch and really understands how to relate to cats. About: Hello, my name is Sophia! I am located in Franklin, MA. I’ve been working in the animal care industry for 5 years and have worked at multiple different daycare/boarding facilities. I not only have experience in pet care, but also dog training. I am looking forward to meeting you and your pup/kitty! I am currently working per diem so my schedule can be inconsistent. However, since I do not work the same hours every week, I will be better able to make the time that adheres to your needs and schedule. Your pup’s health and safety will always be my top priority. During walks or overnight stays, your dog/cat will be my main focus at all times. I am always on top of your pets needs whether it is a walk, potty break, play time, feeding & water, or litter scooping; no task is too big or small.

Ellie was amazing with our cat, who I’m pretty sure was waiting for her to come back when we got home! She was attentive and caring, and offered us thorough updates and lots of photos while we were gone. Highly recommend - we will definitely book her again! Our kitty was very well taken care of 😻

Carley took excellent care of my kitties while I was away for the first time since moving to a new home! She followed my info for feeding, playing etc to the tee and sent lots of photos during her visits. I could tell both my cats were super comfortable with her and were getting lots of love while I was away 🥰

Jackie did a great job with our three cats while we were out of town for our wedding! She was confident, professional, and nice. We would book with her again which says a lot because we are very protective of our pets, and I'm also a pet-sitter on Rover. Thank you, Jackie, for taking care of our kitties for our special day!

Thank you for making the time for Bruno and Jimmy while visiting for summer. Only thing I would have appreciated would be pictures daily and compared to other sitters check in when coming in and out but otherwise seems like Jimmy and Bruno warmed up to Kailey pretty quickly

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Branch Village. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
