“How much do you value feeling at ease when you’re away from home and your pets? Chelsea offers that value and more. She brought a warm and friendly energy to what can be a stressful prospect, and she gave an exceptional level of care to our dogs and our home. We came back to a pair of dogs whose faces said, “Oh hi! Don’t get us wrong, we’re happy to see you, but when do we see Chelsea again?””

“They did an amazing job both looking after my pets and the house. Wonderfully communicative and it was clear in every pic that my dog and cat were in such good hands. I came home to happy pets and an immaculate house. They were wonderful all around and I will absolutely contact them again next I’m out of town”

“Chloe was great! She was open to any accommodations we had with our pup. She handled his separation anxiety like a champ and kept to his routine. She was very communicative and provided lots of pictures! We will use her again!”

“Meredith has been absolutely incredible as our house and catsitter over a week-long trip. We have a somewhat complicated situation (some of our cats don't get along), and she's navigated that wonderfully. She provided many pictures and detailed summaries to help us understand how they've been doing and has been responsive to suggestions or requests along the way. Meredith really went above and beyond, and I would happily recommend her services and hope to work with her again in the future.”

“Kay is a kind, down to earth, gentle person. Our two dogs were well loved and cared for while we were gone. She is responsive and detail oriented which eased my mind upon our departure . In addition to care of our pups, I can recommend Kay as a fabulous House Sitter. She went above the call of duty making sure our return home was seemless and welcoming. Our dogs and home were happy and healthy under Kay's care. Thank you Kay!”

About: I am a recent Duke alum who is now living in Durham! I’ve cared for pets my entire life, including puppies and a senior dog who was blind and deaf. I left my dog, Oliver, at home when I moved here for college, and now take every opportunity to spend time with cats and dogs. I have experience with breeds of all sizes—from Chihuahuas to Boxers. I’m comfortable feeding, walking, bathing, etc. I’ve also cared for cats and have owned bearded dragons and rats, so I’m comfortable with a wide variety of animals. I work full-time as a medical assistant, so I’m out during the day, but I’m happy to stop by morning and evening to care for your pet. I can provide drop-in visits with as late as same-day notice, walks, and plenty of company because I am usually at home when not at work. I’m also available for house-sitting on weekdays and weekends. I treat every pet in my care like a member of my own family. I create a calm, secure, and clean environment where pets feel comfortable and loved. At your home, I follow your instructions closely to maintain your pet’s routine and ensure their safety. If I’m house-sitting, I’m also happy to water plants and help keep up the cleanliness to make sure your home feels cared for while you’re away. I’m experienced with pets of all sizes and behavior, and I stay attentive to their needs and comfort at all times. Building trust with both pets and their owners is very important to me, and I communicate openly to keep you updated,
