It was clear from the start that she truly cares about animals. As a bonus, she even gave me some great recommendations for new food. If you're looking for someone who will treat your furry friend like their own, Krystina is the one to call!”

“Kim is great, she sends photos, communicates well, and our cat has fun going to her home. Each time he visits he has gained and displayed more confidence and comfort at being there... He loves spending time socializing with her cats. We highly recommend Kim as a cat sitter.”

About: A few years ago, I lost both my very senior dogs, which I adopted as puppies from the shelter. As you can imagine, there's a dog-shaped space in my life. I'm not ready to adopt again, but that means your dog has a second home! Other than errands, I’m home all day with your dog. (If they like car rides, they’re welcome to join me for school dropoff and pickup!) My yard is fenced and shady, and there are plenty of sidewalks for adventures around the neighborhood. If your pet needs a crate, please provide it. I almost always have more than one dog at a time, so yours needs to be dog-friendly or at least dog-tolerant. I also have twin 11-year-olds—both great with dogs, but yours should not be kid-reactive.
“Winter did a great job taking care of our 4 cats. I really appreciate how easy the whole process was and how well Winter communicated and kept us posted while we were away. Thanks so much!”

“Janne was amazing with our cats! They all have such different personalities and she catered to each so well. She was also reachable and responsive. I would highly recommend her to anyone, and would definitely request her services again if available. Thank you again, Janne!”

“Extremely patient, kind, professional, and committed to making sure my cat was taken care of. Will recommend to others and rebook anytime. Thank you Heather! May God bless you and your family.”

“My cats are happy and the house is safe and clean! I was very pleased with how Bell wanted to get to know my cats and their specific needs! We had a great preliminary meeting and Bell asked great questions. She is warm and kind. I felt good about leaving my boys in her great care! I will happily use her again!”

“Will definitely be my go-to sitter! My cats love her (and my corgi has also decided she can be a new best friend), and she took the time to really lovingly care for the kitties. Awesome person, and went above and beyond! (Even vacuumed up some extra kibble my kitties left behind) 100/10, will be hiring again.”

“Katrin was AMAZING! Super flexible when I needed a last minute drop in for my cats while i was on vacation. She checked on their feeder, water, litter box, everything to make sure they were ok. Will definitely have her back for my next trip in August!”

“Jade was a phenomenal sitter for my kitty! She was communicative and always available, and she went above and beyond with her care. She cleaned up an unusual accident my kitty had, and even brought Amazon packages in for me. I truly hope she’s available when I need her next because I will definitely be using her again! Highly highly recommend!”

“Chelsea was exceptional with our cats Daisy and Max. Our Daisy has a heart condition which requires her to take 2 medications twice daily and she administered her medications with two visits every day. She gave them a lot of attention which they loved (and frankly our cats can be a little needy). She took care of their litter boxes every day, checked our mail, took out the recycling and even hot glued the well loved and worn scratching posts and those are as good as new again. She was very pleasant and communicative. I could not give Chelsea enough gratitude for her value and my peace of mind to leave my 2 cats with her knowing that she was keeping my little Daisy cat alive by making sure she got her medications every day. I highly recommend Chelsea for pet sitting.”

“Kristin did a great job with my cat and handled the somewhat complicated instructions for getting into my apartment building perfectly! I appreciated her flexibility in accommodating timing needs as well.”

“Meredith was great and flexible for drop in visits. She was available on short notice and came for a meet and greet the very next day. She sent pictures and updates, wouldn’t hesitate to use her again.”

“Anita took great care of our cats while we were out of town for a week. We had not left the two of them home together before and I was apprehensive, but Anita's updates showed me that they were in good hands, and I am grateful.”

I currently work from home, so your pet will have unlimited access to myself and my apartment while we stay together! As mentioned above, I love being active with pets, so whatever your animals outdoor needs are, Im sure that I can fill them! I have easy access to Duke's East Campus loop, the Trinity Park Neighborhood, and the Eno River state park for all play and exercise needs. “Jade was the best! She is so sweet and caring, our puppy is only 6 months old with a lot of energy and growing so big and Jade watched her for several days in a row. She noticed multiple habits and quirks we forgot to mention and definitely developed a bond with our pup in the time she watched her. Jade was very intentional with updates which we appreciated overall we highly recommend, we would definitely book again (:”

“Taco loves to go to Laura’s house, every time we start to round the corner to her house, he starts to get excited and can’t wait to get there and play with Marley! He always comes home tuckered out and happy!”

“Brody had a great day with Danielle! She took him on a run, walk, and played ball. I felt very comfortable having him spend the day with her! I enjoyed the pictures updates through out the day.”

About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember! From my first mixed-breed pup in high school to raising my first Siberian Husky from just 3 months old, I've always loved caring for dogs. Honestly, I wish I'd known sooner that I could get paid to spend time with these amazing companions! I've house-trained my own furry babies and have loved watching them grow up alongside my hooman kiddos. Seeing the bond between them has been incredibly rewarding. Our home is full of love, and we can't wait to welcome your pup into it. Whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, or snuggling, they'll be treated like family and receive lots of love, attention, and care while you're away. I work from home and with both my kids now in school I have plenty of time to play and belly rub your fur babies throughout the day! I have a fenced yard with a friendly husky who loves to keep company to all hoomans and pups alike! I also have 2 kids who adore dogs—it’s a constant game of who gets who tired first. I can also easily crate your dog if needed.
“Chelsea and David were amazing! When I picked up my pup, she was happy and tuckered out! I would definitely bring my girl back to them when I come back into town. Can't recommend enough!”

“Anitra was so quick to respond! She would send me pup updates throughout the day. Seeing Sydney in a calm and loving place made my day easier knowing she was well taken care of and it was plus seeing the dog park right next to her home! Would highly recommended!!”

“Teri is awesome! My doggo is a little quirky with his behaviors and Teri was great with learning and navigating those. My dog is slow to warm up to people and I think he sniffed out Teri's awesomeness as he warmed up to her quickly and treats her like shes in the pack. She's a great communicator and sent lots of pupdates. Thankyou Teri!”

About: Have had at least 1 pet for over 25 years. Wife and I are recent empty nesters that went from having 4 cats and 2 dogs to a Lab and 1 cat when the last of our 4 kids moved out. We love all animals and will treat them like our own. I am a public school teacher, so I am fortunate enough to have summers off. So my availability is very open even a short notice. We have a dog park for them to play at our place. Our Labrador Bailey will be put in crate until they get acquainted if needed. Bailey is friendly as can be, however I know animals can get nervous in new environments. If coming to your residence I will request and do’s or dont’s to ensure your animal is taken care of up to your expectations and above. I am a public school teacher, so I am fortunate enough to have summers off. So my availability is very open even a short notice. Love all animals and will freaky all animals as if they are my own. We would be honored to treat your animal to a nice vacation as you enjoy yours. My wife and I are retired and have a very flexible schedule. We are happy to accommodate any requests or special needs you may have. We cater to each individual animals personality. We try to maintain and provide care as close to wider the animal is used to in a daily basis in order to minimize any stress.
“Yanique was wonderful! I needed someone last minute and she gladly accommodated me. She sent pictures and I was very comfortable with her professionalism. We will definitely utilize her services for future needs.”

About: **PLEASE RESPOND IN TIMELY MANNER AFTER RECEIVE REPLY TO REQUEST. GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. 🙏🏾** I've taken care of family and friends' dogs since 2010, starting in Charlotte, NC. Longest I've kept one dog is for 2 weeks. I love taking care of dogs as if they were my own. Currently live in Durham, NC in my childhood home. I work from home, so I'm the perfect sitter that can entertain your dog while you're at work, away on vacay/trip, or just need some me time. I am a patient person and do have experience training a couple of dogs from not fearing their crate, knowing boundaries within house, and cease whining. I work from home Monday-Friday from 8-4:30 pm. I occasionally have appts and other events on the weekends, including attending church worship service. I'm at home the majority of the time. I have a pretty open concept in my house, but I close off doors to bedrooms and bathroom. I sometimes close off my hallway to keep in a secluded place in case of visitors or go to sleep at night. I take dogs out on leash, I currently do not have a fenced yard. I spend quality time with them and engage often and show plenty of love.

Adventure-ready dog walkers - Braggtown

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have experience caring for both big dogs, small dogs, and cats. Back home in Tennessee, I have 2 Yorkies and a Goldendoodle, and I’ve also helped neighbors, friends, and family care for their pets over the years. I’m patient, dependable, and love making pets feel comfortable and cared for. I currently have a very flexible schedule that allows me to work around your pet’s specific needs and routine. I typically work mornings during the week and am usually home by mid afternoon, but I can adjust my schedule as needed for walks, potty breaks, feedings, playtime, and medication schedules. I make it a priority to give pets plenty of attention, consistency, and companionship so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I always do my best to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed while in my care. I pay close attention to each pet’s normal routine, energy level, feeding schedule, and any special instructions so they can stay as stress free as possible. I’m experienced with walks, potty breaks, playtime, crating if needed, and giving pets space when they need it. I also make sure owners stay updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident their pets are being well cared for.
“Alyson was able to accommodate a last-minute booking for my dog, which I really appreciated! She was punctual, had good communication, sent me an update with a photo, and Tallulah loved her walk! A great experience and I will definitely book with her again.”

About: Hi All, My name is Alessandria but I prefer to be called Alekx and no the K is not a typo. My hair color is subject to change but it's just dyed hair braided into my natural hair. I have been caring for animals professionally since 2006, until 2013 where I took a leap in a different field of work. I use to move all over the country but I am home and hoping to start pet sitting as my main job. I have a guinea pig by the named Tikka Teacake and she is a little siren but she is my 3rd guinea pig. I am a non-smoker and prefer days curled up with fluffy creatures and a good book. In regards to my experience I have worked at pets resorts such as Sunny Acres where I had a few loyal dogs that I dearly miss. I have owned large dog breeds my whole life and grew up with pure breed Rottweilers, German Shepherd mixes, and my current lovely mutt. I have been doing home pet sitting for over a decade. I usually spend most the day when I am at home entertaining my pets or letting them have free run of the backyard with regular check ins. I make sure that their food is good for their stomach, their daily exercise if playing outside with a normal dose of petting and grooming. I recently got off of medical leave so I have started short nightly walks and we work out together to stay happy and healthy. I am a big night owl so I love watching my dogs snore about. A safe home is one your pet recognizes as the pack den. I care for all pets with repetitive training, health care checks, grooming, and dental care as long as they will let me. I love to make a home pet safe by avoiding choking hazards and loose cables. (Mainly because my guinea pig is a little menace). Medications are taken with timers and usually snuck into foods. I like keeping basic training habits are maintained so that the pets do not unlearn anything their humans have taught them.
About: After growing up with cats and dogs all my life, I have a special place for them in my heart. I now have two cats of my own that I love to spoil and care for. I have experience walking and checking on neighbors' dogs as well as house/pet sitting overnight. I have experience working with a wide range of cats and dogs - from kittens and puppies to senior pets. Depending on your dog's personality and interests, possible activities include playing at dog parks, walking through the neighborhood, or relaxing in the backyard. I am detail oriented and will cater to you and your pet. I would love to become your pet's best friend!
“In addition to boarding our dog with Jade several times, she has also walked Rex several times. He is beyond excited when she arrives and loves the long walks. I highly recommend Jade for quality of care, reliability, and communication.”

“Heather has been a great walker for my pup! She always takes good care of her and sends pics and updates. I especially appreciate how often she’s been able to come through on last minute requests.”

About: Hello! My name is Ayana, and I’m 25 years old. I have a passion for working with animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently work professionally in a dog daycare/boarding environment, where I spend my days caring for dogs in group play settings, monitoring behavior, supporting enrichment activities, and making sure every pup stays safe and has fun! I’ve had animals by my side for as long as I can remember and currently have a kitten of my own who completely runs the household. I also have a senior cat who still lives with my mom and will forever be my first baby. Through both personal and professional experience, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, patient, attentive, and genuinely caring to look after your pets. At this time, I’m offering dog walks and drop-in visits. My work schedule can vary week to week, so I keep my Rover calendar updated regularly to reflect my availability. I can’t wait to meet your pets, learn all their little quirks and personalities, and give them lots of love and attention while you’re away! I plan on providing for your pet as if they were my own while still following all your wants and needs. I will make sure to send pictures and updates!

“So thankful Randy was able to walk our pups. I'll be reaching out again if I go out of town. Was communicative and friendly, followed instructions, and was great with the pups.”

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life! My family had a wonderful mutt that arrived the same year that I was born, so he was essentially my puppy sibling. He has long passed away but I also have many years of experience dog sitting for my family and friends and can provide references. My current place won't let me have pets, so it will be awesome to get my fix by taking care of your wonderful dogs! I can't wait to meet them. I have a full time Monday-Friday job, but I am available on weekends, and after 5:30 during the week. I can be flexible, and try to accommodate your ad your pet's needs! Safety is my first priority. I will never have company or even food delivery inside of your home, and will never provide your address to anyone else, unless it is an emergency, in which case I will contact you directly first and get your permission to call my emergency contact (my mother)! I will make sure I feed and walk your dogs(s) consistently, and of course play with them and give them attention while you are away. I do not mind doing light housework, and I am comfortable with sitting for more than one dog.
“Lauren was excellent with my dog!! She was always so great with communication, and ensured that my boy was well taken care of! Will definitely be contacting Lauren again in the future!!!”

“Very happy with Chelsey and David and their care for our pup, Mallory! We have used their services for daycare dropoff and a longer, multiple night trip.
