About: Hi! I’m a student at the University of Maine and a big animal lover. I have three cats back at home and experience watching small dogs, so I’m very comfortable caring for pets and making sure they’re happy and safe. I’m a student at UMaine and pet care fits well into my routine because I’m looking for flexible work. I’m able to plan my schedule around classes and make sure pets get consistent care, attention, and time throughout the day. I provide care for pets in their own homes, where they are most comfortable and familiar with their environment. About: I have been taking care of dogs for 2 years now, starting with helping out with my family. But now I have been pet sitting for friends and family, and around 9 months ago I started working at a dog daycare, helping them out there! As a current nursing student, I am willing to work on a schedule that works for you and your pup! I am able to help anytime before or after my classes, and even in between! When it comes to safety, I am willing to do whatever is most comfortable for you and your pup. Whether this is crating your pup during the day or letting them out of leash outside!

I was the owner of a lab mix, a mini dachshund, many Dalmatians, and multiple cats. I’m comfortable with any animal usually, you could call me Pocahontas. I have many years of experience with all aspects of training puppies, including some doggie sign language for commands. I have connections and great resources to parks/areas to play outside and walk. I am available for any pet care needs. I have knowledge of taking care of animals with medical needs from assisting with walking, changing, medications, etc. could do some minor grooming but not certified. About: I grew up on a farm with horses, pigs, sheep, cows, a dog and a cat. I particpated at a young age taking care of them (feeding, brushing, removing manure). Throughout my life I have had personal pets as well as helped care for pets of family and friends. I currently work full-time remotely M-F 8:00am-5:00pm. I also have a 9 year old son. I am typically available weekday evenings after work and weekends. I have a runner that extends from the side entrance of my house to my detached garage with a partially fenced backyard. I live in a safe neighborhood and have great neighbors. Three of my neighbors on my street work for the police department.

About: I have been pet sitting for a family friend for over 5 years now and am hoping to expand my clientele. They have relied on me for overnights, feedings, check-ins, and play time. I am currently in college at Umaine trying to save money for my future. Pet sitting fits well into my schedule and is something I enjoy. I am willing to do whatever my client prefers to keep their dogs safe and comfortable, whether that is walks, going to the dog park, or playing in a fenced in area at their house.

I'm good with specialty care, as I've owned rats in the past for quite a few years! They require a very specific healthy diet/great air quality and require much more extensive care than people realize. They require expensive, careful care and planning, much more than your average pet. I've also had pet cats, dogs, mice, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, and chickens in the past. My dream is to live on a farm someday and animals have always been a big part of my life. I know that ALL creatures are very sentient and feel just as deeply as we do, if not deeper. Animals are very intelligent creatures and often know and see things we do not! My environment here is laid back and I'm a very chilled out down to earth kind of person. I like to have everything set up for my pets I'm watching as soon as I get in the door. I'm very attentive and empathetic as well. I'm always sure to send regular updates and photos. Having an animal next to me while I'm having family time makes my place feel cozy and homey ❤️ I always double check with the owner about what their pets can and can't have when I want to give snacks or extra treats, and I also have knowledge of what's okay to give them and not.
