My whole family loves animals, and I grew up with a wide variety of pets—from dogs and cats to chickens and even snakes. I often helped care for many of my neighbors’ pets as well, which gave me experience with different personalities, routines, and needs. I’m currently in my third year of college at the University of Maine, and I truly miss spending time with and caring for animals. I’d love the opportunity to give your pet the same attention, patience, and affection I would give my own.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. As a third-year student at the University of Maine, my class schedule is consistent, which gives me flexibility to plan walks, drop-ins, feedings, and playtime. I’m used to organizing my day and sticking to routines, so I can be reliable about arriving on time and following any specific instructions your pet needs. Spending time with animals is one of the best parts of my week, and I love making it a priority in my schedule.

When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking times, exercise needs, and any special instructions you provide. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, play, and affection, while also respecting the rules and expectations you have for your home. I keep a clean and safe environment, monitor behavior to be sure they’re comfortable, and will always communicate updates or concerns. My goal is for you to feel confident that your pet is happy, well cared for, and treated like family while you’re away.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active and engaged! Depending on their energy level and personality, I enjoy going on walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, or spending time outside getting fresh air. For more relaxed pets, I’m happy to do cuddle time, brushing, or calm indoor play. I also like incorporating enrichment activities like puzzle toys or practicing basic commands to keep them mentally stimulated. My goal is to make sure every pet feels happy, comfortable, and has fun while they’re with me.
