About: I’ve been taking care of my two lab mix dogs for 14 years and many others before Annie and Copper. Annie is a senior with issues such as she’s almost totally blind and her hips are very stiff but she still loves her walks. I’m patient and don’t mind cleaning up her accidents. My son flies me to Long Island 3 times a year to cat sit for Thea and Ollie and they are a joy! I would never rush and will always provide quality time with your pet. I took an early retirement in 2020 during Covid so I have plenty of time and I enjoy walking. I try to get in an average of 12,00 steps a day. I’m very respectful of other people’s property. I couldn’t care for a pet in my home because of my two dogs. They’re older and very set in their routine. I’m very used to feeding and washing out their bowls and making sure they always have water. Picking up after them is something I try to do asap. It’s more sanitary to always keep up with it and it also keeps them from stepping in it the next time they go out. I also cat sit for my neighbor and my son so scooping is no big deal either. If needed, I can brush your pet, wash their face, wipe their feet and even bathe if necessary.

“Ronene has only come 2 days now to break up my baby’s long crate day while I work and I’ve already seen the difference! So much calmer (as much as a 7 month old puppy can be calm!) when I get home! I love this woman! She is a pittie lover for sure!❤️”

“amazing ! my girl looks so happy”

“Thank you!!! My Blakey is so happy when Bri is here.”

“Mary is wonderful! My pup was so happy to meet her and she handled him perfectly (he’s a bit of a tank and can knock you down if you’re not paying attention) Mary was perfectly comfortable with him and I left feeling assured my furry best friend was in good hands.”

“This was our 2nd booking with Jes and she is fabulous!!! I loved seeing the photos daily and the progression of them warming up and sitting on her lap made me melt and know I left my babies in great hands! I will 1000% book Jes every time I need a sitter!!”

About: Loving and caring for my pets as well as those of others’ has been such a joy in my life and I offer that same love, care and attention to your best friends! Whether you need overnight stays or drop-in services, I’d love to meet your fur babies and keep them happy, healthy and safe until their best friends return. I’m currently retired and am very flexible time-wise. I’m available any day of the week, as overnight stays, or everyday of the week from 7-9ish. I currently have two golden retrievers and a fenced in yard but find that most dogs, and all cats, prefer their own surroundings so am willing and able to come to you home and take care of them.

“Trish was great with our puppy. After the initial meet and greet, we were very comfortable having Trish come to our house and care for our puppy. She is clearly an animal lover. Her communication is excellent. She also sent us pictures and an overview of how things went during each visit. We are looking forward to having Trish care for Betty again.”

“Jenny did such an amazing job caring for our dog while we were away. She did extra little things that she didn’t have to do, as taking her for short walks and stayed extra time with her when she was feeling anxious, as our dog has high anxiety and Jenny made sure to keep her comfortable. I was very nervous about leaving my dog knowing her anxiety levels, but Jenny made it so smooth going and made me feel much better about it all! Great communication with me each time she came in my home to care for her too! I will definitely recommend Jenny to anyone that is looking for care for their pet while being away!”

About: I have been working with dogs since I was in 6th grade. I trained my childhood dog through a 4H program and we completed at the county fair each year in Obedience and Rally. Now I have a rescue who over the past 4 years we've helped work through a lot of reactivity and she now is an active participant in Rally competitions and other classes. As a teacher my summer is wide open for walks and drop in visits. Once the school year starts after school and weekends are open. I'm very comfortable with dogs of various sizes and needs. I can crate your furry family members, get them fed, out for walks etc. I'm comfortable with various walking equipment from harnesses to gentle leaders and collars.

“Tara was extremely professional and took good care of our babies while we were on vacation. She went above and beyond: she brought our packages upstairs, kept our porch plants watered and our outside bird feeder filled (so our cats would have their "tv") We came home to happy plants, happy cats and happy birds. Thank you again!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was very young and have countless cherished memories with my childhood pets. I now have a dog and 2 cats who I love spending every day with. My dog is very high energy so I’m comfortable with pretty much any dog(s). My cats are shy at first near new people but then warm up, so don’t worry if your cat is shy! I can also administer some types of medicine as I’ve taken care of diabetic pets in the past. I have 2 cats and a dog, so I feed them multiple times per day, clean their bowls regularly, clean litter boxes routinely, and play with them as much as I can. My dog likes to take a walk during lunch time, so when I’m working remotely I enjoy walking with him. As for my availability, I am able to offer pet care before work, after work, and select days during lunch time. Generally when I arrive at someone else’s house, I like to take a few minutes to get to know the pet and make sure they’re comfortable with me. Once they’re comfortable with me, I can offer them some of their food and then play for a little while if they’re interested.

About: I grew up with cats and my best friend had dogs. I would always help her take care of them and took care of cats as my best friends. When I met my fiancé he had a 5 year old beagle and I fell even more in love with dogs. Our pets are part of our families and they deserve the best treatment. I work from home with a consistent schedule and am available for walks and check ins after 3:30pm during the week and any time during the weekend. I have 2 small beagles who love all dogs and love to play. They will make great play mates and walk companions to keep your pooch company.

“Karen and I met a few years ago and quickly became good friends. We shared common interests, such as travel ,gardening ,and our love of animals, to name a few. Karen is trustworthy, and conscientious. I have a dog Mabel, who can be a handful to deal with. Mabel is overly zealous greeting people, which at times is hard for me bc I can’t control her. Karen has a way, a calmness ,and handles Mabel perfectly, and Mabel loves her. You won’t regret bringing Karen on board at Rover.”

“Brandi is such a caring and patient person that I would trust my dogs with her any day. Not only is she incredible with dogs, she’s also a teacher - which takes a special kind of loving, patient person. I’ve seen her work with her own dog, Koda, through training classes and agility classes, completely transforming Koda’s confidence and helping alleviate her fears. Brandi’s also very active so she can keep up with just about any energy level dog, to really tucker them out! I’d highly recommend booking with Brandi - your pup will love her!!”

Jessie F.Star Sitter
“Hi guys! I've personally have known Jessie for over 6 years now. Let's be honest, one of the main reasons she maintained a relationship with me is because I have a dog! - Rottweiler (10 years old) During this time Jessie has graduated from school with a 4-year degree in animal care while maintaining a 40hr work week working with dogs. Each night, she comes home to 3 dogs of her own. I have had family ask her on a weekly basis for advice with their own floofs. I have had co-workers request her to do their dog's grooming. I'm 100% certain my Rottie loves her more than she loves me now 🥺💔. Jessie is the ultimate Mom figure when it comes to our furry loved ones. She treats them as they are her kids and knows when to be stern when they get out of line.”
