“Emily did an amazing job taking care of our dog Louie! He's a very energetic guy and she was awesome and took him for both a run and walk in the same day. We could tell he was well taken care of and would highly recommend Emily. We look forward to using her in the future!”

“Aaron continues to provide great care to my two cats. He is attentive and in constant communication as needed. I strongly recommend Aaron -- you and your furry friend(s) will be in good hands. Thank you Aaron.”

“This is our first time hiring Crystal. Feeding our cats is kind of crazy/complicated. However Crystal did a great job with that and everything else. Sent texts and pics each day. We will definitely hire her in the future.”

About: Hi, we’re a family of 5 in the lower Highlands area. Sadly, we lost our family dog, Friday, last year. He was a high energy husky mix. We miss him! However, we aren’t ready to commit to adopting another dog just yet. We’d love to watch yours though! We are right across from Harrison hollow and we’re an active, outdoor family. We’ll take great care of your pooch! My husband and I both work from home & love to get out on walks during the day. We are both very active throughout the day. We have a back yard that is fenced in & room to run around in the back. We live close to walking trails and the foothills where we will take your dog on walks.

“So nice not to have to take our cat to be boarded--and our current vet no longer offers boarding, so thought we'd try Rover. Adri is obviously a cat person and she and Maisie bonded right away. Maisie was much less stressed when we got back from our vacation which was a plus! Will definitely book Adri for our next trip!”

“Chelsea was amazing with my 4 month old puppy Leo! She asked important questions to make sure she knew all about him prior to watching him, and even came over to meet him. She sent lots of pictures of Leo having fun, and gave him lots of treats and loves. It was so hard for me to leave my puppy, but I knew he was in such great hands with Chelsea. Could not recommend her enough!”

“First time with Augusta and it was a great experience. She was responsive to messages and was able to accommodate my pets physical needs. Would definitely recommend!”

“Christin is so kind and helpful! She’s been amazing with my new puppy and even my incredibly shy 7 year old dog who usually takes a very long time to warm up to people! I can tell she genuinely cares and that’s invaluable to me.”

About: I've grown up with dogs, love caring for cats and other animals, and have experience with bunnies and hamsters. I enjoy making all pets feel safe, happy, and loved!! I’m currently working at a country club as a part-time lifeguard. But I have plenty of time to spare and love spending time with animals. I have a fenced yard with plenty of grass to share with my two dogs Blu (Golden Retriever) and Muffin (yorkie-poo). They are both crate trained and friendly. I live super close to the foothills so that is a potential walking place as well as the dog park close to my house. I also live in a cul-de-sac so if your dog prefers the cement that’s okay too!

“Meg was absolutely wonderful with our puppy! She was great about sending tons of photos and videos, practiced all of her training commands, and went above and beyond to practice walking techniques! Kaya loves her and we absolutely recommend using Meg for all your dog needs!”

About: Healthcare worker looking for some pet love! I started dog-sitting on Rover in 2015! Took a few years off and moved states, but back in action because I don't have a dog right now, and want one, but don't have a schedule that allows me to give consistent attention. I have 3-day weekends, so Sun-Mon-Tues I can spend pretty much all day with your best friend, but Weds, Thurs, & Sat I'm pretty booked up. I will have lots of time over the holidays this year (24-25) so I'd love to have a dog at home, or house-sit at yours! Can also drop in on cats in the North End. I currently have 1 cat, so your dog needs to be cat-savvy to come over to stay, or I can watch in your home; cat care in your home only. Why I love dog sitting I've loved dogs my whole life! My first dog was an Australian Shepherd and since then I've had a rottweiler/lab, a boxer/aussie, a greyhound/chesapeake, pit/lab and have tons more in the family, great danes, dachshund, german shepherd, border collie, visla, etc! I’ve also fostered for rescues, dogs and beyond. My experience administering medication I work in healthcare, so I'm very comfortable with medications, therapy, injuries, and staying calm in an emergency. I'm not a vet, so can't give advice, but I'm highly competent in care! I have a flexible schedule with 6-hour workdays - plenty of time to spend with your best friend! I go in late, get home early, and love to walk around the North End or foothills. Pets hang out with me most of the time in my home. I work from home 2 days a week, and have 3-day weekends, so only 2 days in the office (ask for schedule if needed). Pets are allowed on the couch, and I have a fully fenced yard for potty breaks.

About: I have grown up my whole life with Boxers and have been surrounded with my any other types of dogs big and small! I’ve had all sorts of experience senior dogs and cats. I work part time and go to school. I have differing times throughout the day to helo take care of the pets wether that be for bathroom breaks or walks. I have a fenced yard and am well qualified to care and nurture any sort of dog or cat. I will have plenty of free time to monitor and keep all animals healthy and safe.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 9. I'm better suited to larger active dogs, than handbag dogs. Happy to go on long walks or runs if your doggo is into that sort of thing. I work from home part-time at the moment, in a house with gated backyard. I live very near Camel's Back park, so very handy to walk or run your dog there. I have a fenced back yard with no other pets. The dog can come in the house, but will have to stay off the furniture and bed. I can also come to your house to care for the dog.

About: I am a 19 year old college student with more than enough time on my hands. I volunteer at the Spartanburg Humane Society, walking and playing with the "Big dogs". I have been walking dogs of all sizes for around 8 years now, learning the ins and outs throughout my experiences. I have recently raised a puppy, who's name is Rocky, and I have walked, bathed, combed, fed, and overall taken care of him for two years now. I guarantee a long, physically tiring walk for your dog, and an abundance of pictures! Volunteering at the Humane Society allows me too care for as many dogs as I can handle for hours on end. Walking these dogs when nobody else can brings me joy and fulfills me, knowing that I am making an impact on these dogs lives. I deal with dogs everyday, and I have dealt with just about every situation possible. I am very caring and good with dogs, and will give them an extreme amount of love! At your home, I will follow the exact steps you give me to walk, take out, or do whatever is needed of me to make your dog happy and well. I will take in mind you and your dogs preferences, and I will work with them to give your dog the best experience possible!

About: Hi there, I’m Rebecca! On top of walking and housesitting different dog breeds over the years, I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs and their specific routines, as well as nurturing some of the more easily stressed out small breeds, like Chihuahuas. I have two rescued ones of my own (pictured) and couldn’t love them more! Side note: My dogs stay at my mom's house under her care when I'm housesitting, so don't worry about having them stay at your place! It'll just be me :D I keep my calendar updated at least every week. Please keep in mind that I also have a bonus part-time job in Downtown Boise, where I receive my work schedule the week prior for shifts that last 4.5-5 hours a piece. However, I always have Wednesdays and Sundays requested off, so I’ll typically be available then. Outside of those limits, I’m excited to attend to your pup as much as requested and send you photographical proof of the great time we’ll have together! I’m confident in my ability to stay in tune with your dog’s needs. The approach I take is one of patience, attentiveness, and a loving tone to help build trust and help keep your pup feeling comfortable with me. That being said, if you have any questions or concerns about your dog’s wellbeing before or while I’m with them, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me, as I'll do the same. Along with safety, I want your pup to have the best time ever and tell you nonstop about it upon your return!

“Angela was absolutely AMAZING. She was so helpful, and did the absolute most to make me feel like our animals had the best care. I loved seeing the updates she sent me, and knowing that everything was going so well why we were away. She stayed and actually played with my dogs, and even helped me with my garden. We will absolutely be using Angela again, and couldn't recommend more!”

“Sabrina has watched my cat twice now and does such a fabulous job! She sends me lots of pictures and updates and even changed out my smoke detector battery that was beeping!”

Ashlee H.

“Where to begin? It's almost unbelievable Ash does not have a dog of her own at this very moment...although circumstance is sure to have something to do with it at the moment, renting and putting herself through college. She has always had a deep compassion for dogs that I feel has grown over the past 10 years or so. I've seen her interact with several dogs, recently working on a little country farm setting in Bainbridge Island, WA. Regardless if the three were wet and stinky, (rains a lot there) lazy or overly rambunctious, she just seems to have a place in her heart for each one. She is very organized and active and is one of the most productive souls I know. She won't scrimp when it comes to your beloved pet and at the same time give it an overabundance of love and attention”

Ella D.
“Ella is a caring human with a special place in her heart for animals. She has cared for our dogs and cats successfully with love and gentle attention. She is very interested in dogs and cats and learns quickly about our many extra asks. We would highly recommend Ella to care for your pets who she will love like they were her own pet family member.”

Cydney C.

“Cydney has watched my pup multiple times (even watered plants) and is always great at communicating and sending photos! Highly recommend her for your rover needs! 🙌🏻”

Leif H.
“Your dog will be in excellent care with Leif! As a lifetime dog lover, Leif grew up with a family dog. He was responsible for daily care such as feeding, watering, exercise, grooming, administration of medications and of course, affection. Leif is kind and nurturing and always the first one to find a dog in a crowd to pet and appreciate. He is responsible and dependable and enjoys a healthy, active and outdoor lifestyle in which a dog would thrive. His home is clean, safe and secure, as well as close to parks, recreation, and many dog friendly establishments. Leif has a general awareness of both physical and mental needs for dogs on an individual basis. I have left my dog in Leif's care and would choose Leif for all my pet sitting needs in the future!”

Makayla F.

“I’ve had Makayla care for my Great Dane for weekend stays and drop ins and she takes great care of my girl! Highly recommend!”

Hatcher H.
“Hatcher is a dog whisperer. He is kind and patient with all dogs and is an animal lover. My 100 lb chocolate lab Rocky has been on many hikes and walks with Hatcher and he always comes back happy and tired. Hatcher is good with dogs of all shapes and sizes. He is a volunteer at the humane society and works with many dogs with anxiety and behavior issues. He is very experienced and I trust him. I recommend Hatcher as a dog walk for anyone!”

Rebecca S.
“Rebecca S has been devoted to animals all her life from fish to toads to rabbits and dogs. Her first love is for dogs, which she has had 5 to care for and snuggle with. She presently has two chihuahuas that she is devoted to and constantly monitors their health. The smallest change in their behavior alerts her to check them for changes in their health. You could not find a more responsible and loving person to take care of your pet.”

Angela W.

I loved seeing the updates she sent me, and knowing that everything was going so well why we were away. She stayed and actually played with my dogs, and even helped me with my garden.
