About: I've grown up taking care of cats and dogs. My professional pet sitting experience includes small and large dog breeds, as well as cats. I have a background in animal science and care so I am the ideal sitter for pets with high medical needs and elderly pets. I am willingly to take dogs on long walks or runs, and take them to the park. I am not certified, but I can do basic training (sit, stay, etc) and leash training. I currently work full-time as a dietitian at a hospital but am usually pretty free on the weekends and I get off at a decent time so I am able to do an evening walk or drop in on your fur baby in the evening as well if needed! My dog, Axel, is very spoiled as he sleeps in bed with us and he gets daily cuddles. He enjoys going outside so he gets plenty of walks when it is not too hot out but on the minimum, he walks twice a day every day. About: When it comes to family pets, from tiny little munchkin cat breed all the way to Irish Wolfhound, they all deserve the love and respect as a extended family member (or sometime even as our own fur baby). Being raised around Chows and Aussie Shepards, I have experience in both “aggressive” and friendly breeds. A critter is only as bad as the owner. As long as there is at least 24-48hr notification, I’m a pretty flexible person. Seven days a week I’d be available to drop in and say hi, play a little, feed and do potty breaks. Clean as I go to include litter boxes. If being asked to stay overnight, it would be at your location for the best comfort of the animal. My house is a fenced in yard. We typically, based on weather, have my pups run outside once very 2/3 hours. Outside of that, we do regular walks up to 2 miles at least twice a week (again, based on weather). We play games like catch and hidden treat games for enrichment. For the family cat, he is currently maintained by one of my kids but, we allow him free roam and sometimes trips outside on a leash. He has a XXL dog kennel that we will set up when we are outside and he wants to join us to ensure he is bird safe. He very much likes to be a window watcher and enjoys the squirrels a little more than my dogs.
