“Amazing with my cats, they absolutely love her. Even the shy one that hides from everyone. She makes sure to take time to play and entertain them. And is very communicative and responsive about letting you know how things are going.”

About: I’ve had 8 dogs, 5 cats, and too many fish to count! I’ve loved animals my whole life and I will care for your pets like my own. 🫶🏼 I can’t wait to help you and your family pets! Rest easy knowing you will receive detailed updates and beautiful photos of your pets. I will make sure to follow all instructions and exceed your expectations. I will respect your home while caring for your pets. I am excited to serve you and your most important family members! Let’s get started! 🐱🐶

About: I have a background in medicine, but am currently attending a light school schedule. I enjoy caring for others, and I find that often extends to their fuzzy companions. I very much understand how important and special each caregiving opportunity is, and I very much enjoy it. Id be honored to help care for your furry friends. I am currently taking nursing classes on a slow schedule due to an arm injury. I am home and available most days. I'm very excited to meet your fuzzy friends. I have cared for pets in both my home, and in the homes. I do find it easier for the animals I care for to be in the familiarity of their own homes, with their own food and toys. However, I'm happy to watch them in my home as well for a time. My home has no children, and no other pets. Our own sweet dog passed on many years ago, and I do find I miss that energy in my home. Helping you care for your pets would be so fun.

“Jennifer was great and took really good care of our kitty. She provided updates each visit and was very understanding of our requirements. Will definitely consider her for next time!”

About: I have over five years sitting, boarding, and walking dogs in various capacities. From very young puppies and elderly dogs who need that extra patience, to some very big boys who need extra play time; I've done it all. Couple this with extensive fostering and volunteering at shelters and I've worked with some of the best and worse scenarios which has really impacted my understanding for our wonderful friends. Your doggo will receive nothing less than being treated like a member of my family. I love dogs big and small. I have prepared my own documentation so that alongside a "meet and greet," any attention to detail will receive my full attention and understanding. I look forward to meeting you and spending time with your lil buddy. I do offer stays outside of San Marcos but most services are proximal.

About: I'm a pet lover who currently does not have any pets. I would love to care for yours. Comfortable with dogs of all sizes, bunnies, ferrets, birds, etc. I work from home so your pet won't feel lonely. Available for boarding any day of the week. Available for walking M-F evenings and weekend afternoons or evenings. Since I do work from home during the week I can only consider staying at your home Friday or Saturday evenings. My yard is large, fully fenced, fully landscaped and safe. I am home most of the time as well. Pets can be crated or non crated. I work from home during the day. Most pups like to hang out in the office near me while I’m working. I take regular breaks to let them out during the day. Once I am finished with work I am available for walks or playtime in the yard and relaxing/cuddle time before bed. I am a homebody and will be with your pet the majority of the time they are with me. My yard is spacious, safe and secure with no hazardous concerns. The neighborhood is quiet.

About: I’ve had a dog for more than half my life, and have fully trained my two current dogs from puppy age. I also have some experience with dogs that require special care, as one of my dogs has different eating requirements like eating upright. I work part time from home so I’m able to spend a lot of time with your pups and give them all the love they need! I have a fenced yard and 2 friendly small dogs who would keep your pup entertained the whole time! I frequently take them on walks and spend lots of time in the yard with them.

About: I’ve always loved animals! I had a successful dog walking business from middle school-high school, and in May of 2020 I started working at a dog grooming shop. I stayed there for 2 years. I watch family and friends dogs all the time as well! I’m currently going to school and getting my degree, but I have the summer off! So I’m excited to get to know you and your pet! I am patient, respectful, thoughtful, and will follow all rules you have for your pet and me. I will prioritize you and your pets needs.

About: I’ve been privileged to have had or fostered many dogs. I’ve worked with puppies, elderly and everything in between. I’ve spent time training and retraining dogs using positive reinforcement, repetition, and patience. Some of the breeds I’ve worked with include high energy breeds like Huskies, Shepards and Labs. I currently work part time, with weekend availability. Which allows me the time to provide great care to your pet. I look forward to getting to know them and their unique personality. I have lots of free time on the weekends and can provide company to your fur baby. I can ensure they have activities for enrichment, get daily walks and all their nutrition needs are met.

About: Animals have always seemed to approach me with ease. Dogs more than cats, usually. Calm demeanor allows pets to feel safe and at ease in my presence. Trying to find independent work while i try to find more permanent income sources. Dog walks are as good for my own health as they are the pets Backyard is an open space for play, basement is also an open space when the heat gets to be too much. A toy bin with plenty of options, my dog is always spoiled for choice.

About: While I am new to Rover, I am not new to caring for dogs. I grew up with 1-2 dogs in (one of) my parents home. As a young child I would babysit my neighbors 2 great danes. For 9 years I helped a friend care for her doberman from puppy age to when he passed away last year. Currenlty I foster for the Utah Humane Society and for Rescue Rovers. I love taking in dogs from stressful shelter environments and watching them quickly warm up and trust me. I enjoy seeing each dogs quirks and learning their individual personalities. I have no kids, so my foster babies are my kids. They get all of my love and attention. I am currently working a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in office (M, T, T) and 2 days at home (W, F). I drive home during lunch on in-office days to let the dog out for potty and to stretch their legs for about 30 minutes. I live in a dog friendly townhome community and while I do not have a fenced in yard, I have a regular routine with my dogs to be taken out on leash or harness every 2-4 hours (whatever the dog needs). There is a large grassy area directly in front of my front porch so it is very convenient to do potty breaks this way. I can work with dogs who are used to being in their crate, or not in their crate, during the night and/or the day.

Anna K.
“Anna is fantastic! She was my dog’s foster mom for 2 months before we adopted him, and she took such good care of him. That wasn’t an easy task because he had a lot of medical stuff going on at that time! She was able to give us so much information about my dog based on things she learned about him while he was with her. She is clearly very patient, observant, and loving toward the animals in her care!”
