Pet Policy
More information
Marriott believes that pets are family. With more than 1,500 pet-friendly accommodations in the United States alone, Marriott offers a variety of stays for you and your pet, from Brooklyn to Chicago. Experienced staff will direct guests to the nearest pet supply store, as well as dog-friendly shops and parks so pets can get the most of vacation.
For additional information on pet-friendly amenities, please contact the individual hotel directly. Depending on the property, the pet fee will vary. There may also be additional breed or weight restrictions. A typical pet fee ranges from $30-$150 and the weight limit is often less than 50 pounds.
To make staying in a hotel easier for both you and your pet, make sure to bring familiar items to make them more comfortable like a blanket, toys and treats. You can also expect to need to keep your dog on leash in public spaces, so having their favorite collar, harness and leash at the ready makes it easier for everyone. In an unfamiliar space, pets may not act the same way they do at home, so it’s best to ease them in whenever possible. Depending on the hotel, their policy may differ on whether pets can be left in the room alone or not. If you are able to, it’s helpful to make the first time away short to see how they react.
