Pet Policy
Rules and restrictions
Be sure to review this information before your trip and plan accordingly. And remember that all airlines have different restrictions, so read each airline’s rules before you book a new trip.
- Domestic policy: Pets are not allowed to travel in the baggage hold on flights to and from New York.
- International policy: Pets are not allowed to travel in the baggage hold on international flights (with the exception of Pago Pago and American Samoa).
- Pets that are allowed in main cabin: Small domesticated dogs and cats only in inter-island flights and flights leaving Hawaii. Generally, in-cabin crates should be soft-sided and fit under the plane seat in front of you.
- Pets are not allowed for travel in the cabin on flights arriving into Hawaii.
- Pets that are allowed in the baggage hold: domesticated dogs, cats, and birds. Pet and kennel combined weight must not exceed 70 lbs. If the combined weight is in excess of 70 lbs. we may transport your animal via our Cargo department. For cargo crates, the ASPCA says that crates should be large enough for your pet to sit, stand, and turn around in.

- Travel within the State of Hawaii = $35.00
- Travel from Hawaii to North America = $175.00
Pets in baggage hold:
- Travel within the State of Hawaii = $60.00
- Travel from Hawaii to North America = $225.00
- Travel from North America to Hawaii = $225.00
