Rules and restrictions
Be sure to review this information before your trip and plan accordingly. And remember that all airlines have different restrictions, so read each airline’s rules before you book a new trip.
- Pets allowed in the main cabin: small dogs and cats (up to 10kg, including crate). The container must not measure more than 40 cm x 34 cm x 20 cm, must be of the collapsible type, and must fit under the seat in front of you.
- Pets allowed in baggage hold: dogs, cats, hares, rabbits, ferrets, and birds. For cargo crates, the ASPCA says that crates should be large enough for your pet to sit, stand, and turn around in.
- Can carry up to two animals of the same species in the same container.
- Only one container per passenger is permitted however there is no limit on the number of containers that can be carried on board.
- Pets must be older than 15 weeks to travel.

Pet in cabin: €70.00 per container
Pet as checked baggage:
- Small AVIH, 1-10kg = €70
- Medium AVIH, 11-20kg = €100
- Large AVIH, 21-32kg = €150
